My husband and I enjoyed our unplanned visit to Krispy Kreme. After having lunch at the restaurant next door, we popped into Krispy Kreme for a little dessert. It was also National Donut Day so we each received a free donut of our choice. The inside is bright, spacious, and welcoming. A staff member greeted us as we walked inside. At first we were disappointed to not see the famous Hot Now light which signifies the donuts are fresh and hot but our patience was rewarded as donuts began to roll off the line. When my children were young, they loved to watch the donuts cook at Krispy Kreme but all of the stores in Palm Beach County closed years ago. Such fun memories! Outside the store is a peanut dressed as a Krispy Kreme employee. We learned that peanuts are a major crop in the Dothan area. 80+ peanut themed characters are scattered around Dothan. The dining area is very clean as are the restrooms. The store was steadily busy but the service was pleasant and quick. It was a nice stop on our way back to Florida. read more

This was our fourth time visiting the Krispy Kreme in Dothan Alabama. We always like to stop while traveling through to pick up some fresh donuts. I have stopped at different hours throughout the day and they always seem to have hot, fresh donuts. Service is always good and the establishment is also very clean. There's always an influx of people when the sign is lit - and the same was true today. The restaurant was clean. Staff were friendly and fast. We waited 30 minutes in the drive thru! It was one of them once you are in the line you cannot get out. There were 3 cars in front of us. When we pulled up to order no one said I'm sorry for your wait. We asked what took so long for some donuts and they laughed and said "man, it's crazy here today." This is the WORST Krispy Kreme in the entire U.S. I've lived in this area for the last 20 years, and I have NEVER gotten a "fresh" donut from this place. You can stop first thing in the morning or later in the day and the donuts are COLD, clearly having been in the refrigerator. I will NOT pay $2.00 per COLD donut, nor will I recommend this place. We managed to stop at this Krispy Kreme Doughnuts while traveling to Atlanta from Florida. These are your classic melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts - go with the glazed and while the "Hot Doughnuts" sign is in - you'll only need 2. The experience is worth it. The coffee was OK but nothing special. This appears to be a newer location and as such, very clean and modern. For this visit the staff seemed to be quite good. read more

This Krispy Kreme is located at Main and Ross Clark Circle. It was just rebuilt not long ago due to a fire they had a while back. This is a new building and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and quick with the service even though they were very busy. The Doughnuts were wonderful. We just had the plain glazed and I eat more than I would like to admit. We live in Newton and on our way home we got a dozen of the variety style. Well, with kids, no eating in the car so we didn't indulge til home. Krispy Kreme is the bomb!!! I used to love coming here when I was younger and having my parents buy me some Krispy Kremes! The hot and fresh sign was always on and the donuts were steaming to perfection! It's worth every penny, affordable and so much better than Starlite and these other broken joints, the workers attitudes have so much spirit and good personalities that the workers would make you want to stay there and live!!
