The restaurant itself is unpretentious, tasteful, and incredibly welcoming. Simply put, nice digs. Before I even get to the food, though, I have to talk about the service. APC offers the kind of attentive, polished service you expect from high-end dining, while still managing to feel warm and relaxed. Our server, Kaley, was so wonderful that I was jokingly disappointed to discover I couldn't just bundle her up and take her home with me! She is absolutely adorable, but more importantly, she provides genuinely exceptional, top-level service. Attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure. And now, on to the food fun. My husband is a retired Executive Chef, and we are both real serious foodies. We live for really good food, and APC absolutely delivered. I ordered the Steakhouse Bowl, and my husband had the Spicy Peach Sandwich, and when I asked him how he liked it, he stopped eating just long enough to inform me that it wasn't "good." It was "awesome." Then he promptly went back to eating. My own lunch was every bit as impressive. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, with each one retaining its own distinct, natural flavor, something far too many restaurant kitchens manage to cook right out of them. APC is not afraid of flavor. In fact, they embrace it, and they do it beautifully. From the atmosphere, to the exceptional service, to food that was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, this was just a really great dining experience. We will most definitely be back, and I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone who hasn't tried Alabama Pecan Company Café to do so. Go hungry. You will not be disappointed!

This is a place the requires more then one visit to really get the full flavor of the menu, or better yet bring all your friends and each try something different. You'll thank me later! Previous reviews commented on costs, I'll say the costs are exactly inline with the quality and the quantity of product that you get. It also says a lot when you see the owners/managers coming out from behind the counter and eating their menu with patrons and sharing stories of baking and ice cream creameries. I saw groups of families, friends and new friends have great convo and share bites. I intended on a milk shake or ice cream, but ended up with a cinnamon roll, coffee and a promise to return. Because of the blending, it can get loud inside, that's good for any of my pals that wear hearing aids or such. But there are lovely outside seats available. One super cool thing is the sink in the dinning area. Incase you (or you have small kiddos) get sticky ice cream hands, it's a quick pick up. I'd recommend this spot to any and everyone, near and far. Ohhhh,,,, they also have a drive thru incase your just looking for a quick coffee and snack :) For the curious, I did check to see if they are shipping these amazing cookies. "Not yet". They are a local business and focused on the local tastes and customers :).

Well we get back in and head out and magically I see the sign flipped back to open. Really disheartening as a U.S. Army retired veteran to experience this type of behavior. But I'd rather you turn me a way than something else so for that I'll thank you. Being in the Bible Belt and seeing how others treat people because of difference just shows the LACK of knowledge in Jesus teachings but I'll leave that there.
