Today I dropped by Publix and picked up some chicken wings from the deli. Not sure why but they were drenched in salt to the point they were not edible. Tried calling and making a complaint but the phone kept hanging up after a few wings. It was raining outside so I decided not to go back since it was only a ten dollar purchase. Since it happened today I'm concerned that I'm not poisoned or something. It was my dinner so I admit to eating a few and cleaning off the salt but this is unacceptable. Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. What an epic fail.... How hard is it to make a deli sandwich. Today I went to get a sandwich around 7:45pm. The person I am referring to in this review was the dark skinned guy with a short haircut who worked the line on the right side. He didn't know how to cut the bread to represent the Publix standard. I had a very basic sandwich that only required lettuce, salt and pepper, and oil and vinegar, which I didn't receive because I was told I didn't ask for it. If you shop there, sale items and even some regular items at regular price, it's still price comparisons to a lot of discount saver club type stores. I had never been to or even heard of a Publix before I entered this store for the first time, but I am impressed! They had a wide selection of organic and vegan items (best selection in town). Plus the customer service is great! They always seem to be well staffed, which seems rare for grocery store nowadays. I love how they always have someone available to bag and carry out groceries as well. I appreciate that they have a bulk/non-packaged section, I just wish it was a little bigger. Also, why are there individually wrapped potatoes? Seems silly and very wasteful to me... The store and parking lots are always clean too! The worst Deli department of any Publix I've ever experienced. They stop making chicken tenders at 6pm and several times they have tried telling me that they are out of ranch... Every time I have to remind them that it's a grocery store and there's 1,000 bottles of ranch but they are too lazy to go grab it so I have to do it myself. I've been getting Pub subs for about 10 years now and I've never had so many issues with the deli until moving here to Enterprise. read more

This used to be a great local grocery you could expect good customer service from, but lately it's been hit or miss depending on who you come in contact with. The store is clean and organized, but some of the folks that work there are literally akin to that of Walmart in the realm of customer service. The staff here is extremely friendly, at times maybe too friendly, which can get obnoxious and overwhelming. Maybe it's just the Northerner in me, but I don't want to be asked in literally every aisle I walk into if I need help or to have a conversation about my weekend plans when checking out. A "Hello, how are you?" will suffice. I do find the staff at this particular location excessively chatty. However, the store is always clean, and I can nearly always find exactly what I want - although it seems they always have a rather limited stock of white sweet potatoes. They do have a decent selection of kombucha, even if they don't carry my favorite brands, and the bakery is also wonderful, especially first thing in the morning. Hubby and I are a huge fan of their ciabatta rolls and many of the sliced loaves of bread they offer. Their store brand hummus and salsa (both of all flavors) are staples on our grocery list. I really miss nicer grocery stores like New Seasons, Metropolitan, and Wegmans. Heck, I'd even be happy to have a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods nearby. Publix doesn't come even a little bit close to filling that gap for me. I find it a pricier version of Safeway, but it is still a nice alternative to the commissary sometimes. read more

i went online to view cakes as it is my husbands 70th birthday in a couple of days. He is a fruit lover and i spied the Chantilly cake, i thought that would be the one that i would call and enquire about. That I did, the young lady answered all of my questions and as far as I was concerned that was the cake it had to be. I don't live in Enterprise but had to be in town the day that I needed the cake for so it worked out fine. Well......that night after the birthday meal i proudly brought out the beautiful Chantilly cake. We all sang happy birthday then cut the cake and passed the plates around. The disappointment was great!! The frosting tasted like Cool Whip, I specifically asked the lady over the phone if it was a cool whip frosting she assured me that it was a cream cheese frosting. Well i would never have paid 30$ for a cake with a cool whip frosting but unfortunately today I did. Publix is definitely more expensive than other grocery stores in the area, but the quality of their service, produce, and environment (very clean!) makes it worth it to me. This location does not honor the 15% Senior 55+ discount. Although prices are higher than normal for this area, the staff cannot be beat for courtesy and helpfulness. Their fresh meat and veg departments are the best in the area. Although the bakery is consistently high quality, it is generic, using Publix-wide prepackaged mixes. read more

The customer service is very poor! Keir, the supposedly store manager, who acts very unprofessional is the main problem. I ordered a cake via the bakery and I requested butter cream icing, I received whipped! I called to complain! Not once did he apologize but tried to bicker back and forth with me... We love this store. It is immaculately clean (inside and outside) and the staff are friendly and so helpful. Their bakery sells the most outstanding hamburger buns! Their pharmacy continues a downward spiral of poor customer service and ineptitude. They constantly will not fill a prescription until you arrive, leave you sitting in the drive through for 15 or more minutes with out even an "I'll be with you in a minute," and refuse to follow up. When people are sick and need their medication it should not be met with rudeness with a side of attitude. It is surprising considering how well the rest of the store is run that the manager allows his pharmacy staff to act this way. A big disappointment. read more
