Had pecans cracked....they were done quickly and perfectly! Very nice young man, the owner was very cordial!

Not sure if it was my skin tone or what. Called ahead to ensure they were open, pulled in and as I am backing in my brother notices we the sign on the door flip to closed. Well we get back in and head out and magically I see the sign flipped back to open. Really disheartening as a U.S. Army retired veteran to experience this type of behavior. I do think it should be noted that I have never in my life experienced this level of discrimination anywhere that includes several states and other countries. But I'd rather you turn me a way than something else so for that I'll thank you. Being in the Bible Belt and seeing how others treat people because of difference just shows the LACK of knowledge in Jesus teachings but I'll leave that there. Felt obligated to warn others don't waste your time nor money here. Minorities spend more money in this country than anyone else. Spend your money where you're valued and not even tolerated. read more

This farm has a great little store front where they sell all kinds of fresh goodies. The tomatoes were out of this world - so fresh, delicious and clean! We have also tried the cucumbers, peaches and corn both were also really good - but the tomatoes this time of year were seriously really awesome. The place also sells fresh baked goods, jams & salsas made from the produce, and fresh made ice cream! The ladies who work there are really nice and helpful. Prices are awesome - especially for the quality. Id get all produce there if everything were always in season! (Especially since the produce at the grocery stores here is really lacking). read more

Cute little farm stand, just outside of downtown. When I stopped in (Mayish), there was little more than strawberries. I'll definitely be back in the summer when there's more available. Strawberries were delicious; they made yummy freezer jam and a strawberry cream pie! read more

The sweetest lady was working when I stopped by here today. She's so nice she bakes and sends cakes to soldiers in Afghanistan. The produce was all really fresh (like right from the field next to the store fresh). And the home made ice cream is really good too. She even gave me a free bag of nectarines and a free cup of ice cream to go with the 3 cups I was already buying. I really wish I had known that this was here when I lived here a few years back. read more

Went this morning bright and early. Just moved to the area and everyone said I needed to. The ladies husband just had back surgery so the supply was limited but totally understandable. Bought some peaches (daughter already started eating them) potatoes and onions. Tomato's should be there next week. Daughter tried to get me to buy a watermelon but with a full bucket of peaches, I passed and said next time. The lady called back to the back and asked for a watermelon to be cut that was in the cooler. She gave each of us a big slice and said she would eat the rest...lol Real good and am sure we'll go back. lol read more

They also have chicken salad that is the best I have ever eaten, bar none. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable.
