They have Wi-Fi for customers. I ordered a chai tea latte, my mom had an Americano. For sweets, well it was hard to choose. I was super impressed that they have gluten free and vegan selections here! That can be hard to find. My mom and I ended up getting the cheesecake and some brownies. My chai tea, was made exactly the way I like it. The brownie was quite good, I felt it was rich and you could totally share it with a friend. However, my mom devoured hers with no assistance... so that could be just me. The cheesecake. Well you should know I am a totally cheesecake snob. It's ok, I'll admit it. My dad and I would alwys taste and rate cheesecakes when we would travel. I wasn't sure what to expect from this one. But. It was Lucious, creamy, rich, not too sweet and the texture was phenomenal!! While we were there we got to meet Keith. He is the owner, and his lovely bride. They both chatted with me and my mom for a few minutes. They had such a caring way about them. Keith also told me that they started serving lunch. We were seated right away, but almost every table in the place was packed. Our server greeted us pretty quickly and got our beverage order started. My husband stuck with coffee and I got one of the energizer beverages the morning sunrise that includes elderflower tonic, orange juice, and period strawberry. It was delicious. I chose to order the breakfast burrito with fruit as my side. The fruit was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. When I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, the cake had not been made because the baker had my phone number recorded incorrectly and was unable to contact me. While she did quickly try to "make something happen," the result was far from what was ordered. The cake design did not resemble a Minnie Mouse theme-- a paper "2" had been printed, cut out, and attached to the cake, and random butterflies were added that did not match the theme. In addition to the design issues, the cake itself was completely frozen at pickup. It was extremely difficult to cut during the party and crumbled badly once sliced, making it difficult to serve. Considering the cake cost $193, I was very disappointed and even had to redecorate it myself before the party. I also called afterward to express my concerns, but during the conversation the baker continued speaking with someone else while I was talking and did not seem interested in addressing the issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the quality of the product and the lack of customer service were very disappointing for such an important event.

To be honest, the coffee isn't even that great anyway, so I guess they're doing me a favor. What really made me laugh is the sign on the window asking customers to leave a 5-star Google review in exchange for a punch card credit. If you have to bribe people for good reviews, that might be a sign something isn't right. Maybe instead of asking for 5-star reviews, they should focus on something simpler--like showing up on time and being open during their posted hours. At this point, I'll just make coffee at home.

That's why this is disappointing to write. Today, I ordered a hot coffee but was given an iced coffee instead. When I politely let the worker know about the mistake, she responded with a bad attitude rather than simply correcting the order. It wasn't about the mistake -- those happen -- it was the way it was handled. It may seem like a small issue, but when someone is preparing your food or drink, attitude matters. A negative response in that moment doesn't leave you feeling confident about the overall experience. Customer service goes a long way, especially for regular customers. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning.

But, I digress... The man behind the counter was pleasant, helpful and easy going. The donut selection was solid and they were larger than most chain stores and filled well with creams and fruit fillings. The building is clean as is the parking lot.
