Unfortunately they were out of stock for the day on the charmander and pikachu donuts, but the staff were kind enough to tell me what time the following day to stop by to hit the restock before the promotion ended September 13. Only thing I was disappointed was I ordered a large coffee with the donuts and it was barely even warm. I ended up throwing it out because it was not enjoyable at all. They could also do better with their donut stock. It seems like they were pretty low on variety and stock mid day. Overall, customer service was top notch and the two times I've gone here, there was a minimal line. I went to the Krispy Kreme doughnuts and ordered a half a dozen glazed and they charge me almost $16. I went online and looked at the same thing for a dozen and it was $16. Showed up a half hour after they opened to be told they're out of glaze donuts. Came back 45 mins after opening to be handed a cold box of donuts and be told they don't have any fresh donuts yet. Then they proceeded to take 5 minutes just to give me a refund. Won't be back and I used to come regularly. 51 mins after opening and still no fresh glaze donuts is wild. Krispy Kreme is a known quantity and this store doesn't dissapoint. I was feeling peckish after visiting my grandson and hit the drive through for a snack. Whenever the "Hot Doughnuts Now" sign is flashing, it acts like a beacon for the faithful. Even through all of the signs around the store and through the information that can be found online, this store is not 24hr on the weekends. Don't dare try to buy doughnuts before you go to work in the morning time. All of the employees will act like they don't see you. Seems like every business in Augusta feels it is a privilege for you to be able to do business with them. As a consumer in this area I can see why so many businesses don't last. Maybe if they had some kind of awareness of their surroundings they could learn a few things from their neighbor with the greatest chicken sandwich that we have been so graciously graced with. My sister and me came to this location on Memorial Day evening around 6/6:15pm and even though I'm disappointed with the false advertising of the Island Time doughnuts on the menu board, there was a very nice lady at drive thru today. She was very pleasant, courteous and helped with advising on how to add points to the Krispy Kreme account. She even ASKED if we needed napkins which is rare these days! Very courteous service! The ladies at this location are pleasant & patient! It's National Doughnut Day and there weren't a lot of varieties left & the line was long. Luckily my husband was able to get his favorite doughnut- raspberry filled glaze. All I wanted was HOT glaze doughnuts! Both of our wishes were granted. Listen, I don't need the employees to fake happiness. I know this isn't Chick-Fil-A but a smile goes a long way. The feeling of dislike for what they do permeates. On two occasions I've witnessed this. Labor Day was one of them. There's no "can I help you" or "I'll be right with you" it's just blank stares and them conversing with each other. It could be because they're short staff for I've seen this before at a Burger King nearby and it was just as bad. Please do better next time. I've been to this location a handful of times, and I only go when the hot light is actually on. If you don't, you will definitely get some COLD doughnuts... I mean like refrigerated cold. But, when you do go while the light is on, they always provide fresh hot doughnuts. The downside for me is that even when I've been the ONLY PERSON in the line, the service has been REALLY SLOW.... For 1/2 dozen original glazed... Like why? But overall, this location is decent, and I appreciate that they're opening more locations. read more

I checked online before driving from North Augusta, SC to the Krispy Kreme on Washington Rd. The closing time listed was 11PM. I arrived at 9:30PM and the shelves were completely empty! One of the young ladies working there said that they had sold out of everything. Everything. I guess I should call after 9PM to make sure they have doughnuts. I really hate this because I do love the doughnuts, but I don't think I'll make a special trip from North Augusta again. read more

The doughnuts are good however the customer service is terrible. I didn't order a side of attitude, if you don't want to work at Krispy Kreme then find another job. If you can't do your job in a decent way, without your unnecessary attitude and personal frustration THEN FIND ANOTHER JOB. Whoever is running this place needs to seriously get on top of their customer service. They do always seem understaffed HOWEVER that is NOT an excuse for someone to act stank as if one is not allowed to order or to feel rushed when trying to order. I was so excited to find another Krispy Kreme other than the one on Washington Road... that was until I actually pulled through the drive thru. I don't know how else to say this, so I'm gonna just be honest and say that this Krispy Kreme is super G H E T T O! The girl that took my order was very sarcastic and it was evident she had an attitude. If I hadn't been craving donuts for weeks I would have drove off but I decided to stick it out . When she gave us our donuts they were very "dry"... they didn't even look slightly appetizing. I also ordered two medium caramel mocha iced coffees for me and my sister , in which she gave us small. I informed her that they were supposed to be medium then she proceeded to tell me that it " was a medium today because Krispy Kreme decided to be cheap..." whatever that means. Had I not taken my medication today, this scenario would have played out differently however, I did, and at that point I was just tired and wanted to go home without worrying about if she spit in my drink or licked my donuts so I didn't even bother arguing. The new Krispy Kreme is clean, service is great, doughnuts are fresh and just as tasty as the old location. I came in specifically for an apple fritter, which they were out of, hence the one missing star. The clerk did inform me regarding what time they would have more available, if I get to try one next time and it lives up to it's reputation I'll revise my review and give that last star. Today I tried the limited edition triple chocolate doughnut they're currently featuring, I'm not a huge chocolate fan so I was a little skeptical, but it didn't disappoint. Neither the filling nor the frosting were too sweet, it was all a really good balance between the milk chocolate frosting, the dark chocolate kreme filling, and the semi sweet mini chocolate chips on one side of the top. Add to that the perfect risen doughnut base that is the trademark of the Krispy Kreme brand, and I was very happy with the recommendation. This is a brand new location, taking the place of the Gordon Hwy location. That one was very convenient to me and it kind of a bummer that they closed it so I have to travel farther to get those delicious doughnuts!!!! I made my first trek here on April 28, 2016 when they were offering a free dozen of glazed dozen with the purchase of a dozen of whatever you like. I was going inside and pick up my doughnuts but their line was very long inside versus the line in the drive-thru. Going through the drive-thru was the best decision!!! I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The drive-thru attendant was very pleasant and handled my order perfectly. The donuts are delicious but the service was a bit to be desired. This was my second time coming and both times the employees are not the friendliest people. I waited a good minute before getting acknowledged and I was the only customer inside no one at the drive thru. The employees looked at me looked at each other before one shrugged it off that he had to help me. No one said hello as I approached the counter or walked into the building. TERRIBLE service. My boyfriend and I ordered in the drive thru, sat patiently for ten minutes behind the car in front of us, where the woman kept passing her cell phone back and forth to the lady working the drive thru, never saw money or food. So after 15 minutes we pull out of the drive thru to go in and get our order instead. It wasn't even ready and there were FIVE employees standing around doing Nothing. We were one of the only two customers they even had. We got our two coffees and half dozen donuts, for in the car and drove off. Then looked at our coffees and realized they gave us Smalls and we ordered and paid for mediums. Another bummer.
