However, their dedicated customer base means that they sell out of everything basically by lunch time, and the really popular items within just an hour or two. Their bagels are fantastic, and i love how many different and varied flavours they offer. I'm a sucker for a good savoury bagel, and they have so many great options: Asiago cheese, cheddar and jalapeño, old bay, "low country," the list goes on! They also have savoury scones which are fantastic. Their sweet offerings, both in bagels and pastries, shouldn't be missed either. The service is on par with the excellent food, and you can really tell that they love their job and their customers. There's always a smile behind the counter, even at the crazy busiest time, and the owners are often outside greeting people and getting to know their customers. The store gets the job done, but it's not as cozy as you might expect or want for the best bakery in Aiken. If they could make it a warmer feel with big plush armchairs I'm not sure I'd ever leave.

We enjoyed it with super dark roast - I'm still buzzing (kidding) but it was quite good. We sat outside on the porch, admiring the plants and even though we ordered at the counter, our bagels were brought to the porch. While you're there, take a moment to check out the local artwork and stickers. There are some surprisingly interesting pieces.
