Sunday morning around 9am. Hot fresh original donut-$1.29 for one. So good! Neon light flashing 'hot'. Drive thru friendly.

I was on my way to the house after leaving the bus station. I was after 8am and I was hungry so why not stop for some Krispy Kreme donuts. I should have paid attention to the fact that the hot light was not flashing. It was cold that morning so we decided not to get out the car and go through the drive through. The line was wrapped around the building. The first window has a sign on it that says order at the next window where you pay basically. We ordered a dozen glazed, half dozen cream filled and half a dozen sour cream. The lady at the window repeated it more than once. For a minute we thought the order would be wrong but it was not wrong. We opened the box when we got home and were disappointed. The donuts were pretty much hard. Fresh donuts are soft and tender. Next time we will only stop when the hot light is flashing or ask are these made within the last 30 minutes otherwise I don't want them. This place could also use an update. read more

While Krispy Kreme donuts are always a 5 out of 5, this particular store was not a 5 out 5 experience. They didn't have any of the current advertised specials. Due to covid, only orders are drive through orders. The drive through order area with all the menu info was broken, so had to order without seeing what they had (which was challenging cause they didn't have much so we had to keep saying "do you have this?" - no- "or that?" - no - etc...). They also only accepted cash. And they couldn't get our simple order correct (a dozen donuts). What we rolled away with tasted fine. But the experience there - not so much. read more

I was visiting my mom down south. We were both craving Krispy Kreme. I placed my order online to speed things up. Upon arrival I tried to enter from the front door and it was locked. The line was around the building. When I received the 2 dozen, they both appeared cold and stale. I emailed corporate immediately. I didn't receive a refund nor was i offered a replacement for the donuts. The service at the restaurant was horrible as well as for the corporate office itself. How dare you charge $15 for 1 box of donuts and serve them cold and old. read more

I swear I lost brain cells at this place and I'm never coming back. We went through the dive thru and they got our order complete wrong. So I walked in and I literally had to show her a picture on my phone of the donuts I was talking about. Enough said, because I already feel like I'm losing more brain cells talking about it. read more

My experience yesterday 2/14/19 at 5pm was horrible! None of the donuts were in the mark spot. Example it says strawberries and cream with 3 heart donuts in that spot and employee says naw that ain't what that is. There was 3 ladies in front of me and 3 behind me she took all of our orders at the same time and then filled our boxes, I felt horrible for the first lady that was patiently waiting for her 2 glazed donuts and the one behind me that was told they were now out of what she originally ordered. Also when I asked if my rewards could be scanned she said no this needs to be done before I start your order. If app rewards start falling maybe the employees should be trained again. Now for my biggest disappointment I ordered 6 cream filled with chocolate on top donuts and out of the 6 only 1 has had cream in it, of my 3 raspberry filled one had cream. Not sure if this is due to donuts being in wrong place or if they just left the filling out, either way we were disappointed. read more

I'm giving this Krispy Kreme store 1 start because of the service and the cleanliness of the store. The employees could honestly care less if they have any customers at all. They literally just show up for a pay check. The service is absolutely horrendous. The cleanliness is pathetic. Flour and dough caked up on all the walls, honestly very discouraging to look at. The only saving grace this store has is the fact that it's a red light Krispy Kreme donut and not much in this beautiful life compares to a melt in your mouth warm fried sugar ball. When we first arrived the lady was rude and all she could keep saying was she was off the clock while on her cell phone yet she continued on to make slushies for her whole family and take literally 4 dozen donuts out the door with her, when asked if we was ping to stock her boxes before she left, she rushed out while shaking her head. Krispy Kreme is probably my favorite doughnut shop. Stop in while the sign is lit up and get fresh, hot doughnuts. My favorite is the chocolate covered kreme filled doughnut. I love them hot, but they are also amazing cold. My only complaint is they taste so sugary that I feel like my teeth are immediately rotting and I just need to rinse and brush. read more

This is the most unorganized Krispy Kreme that I have ever been to. The workers are ghetto and childish and since I moved here 1 and 1/2 years ago I have had more than 10 occasions where I walked in and up to the counter and sat there for 2 minutes and the workers in the back just looked at me through the window and did not even come to take my order and also they let cars sit in the drive thru and do not take their orders either. Poor performance, corporate should come look at this restaurant because it needs serious help with customer service read more

Came here because the hot donut sign was on tonight. They were somewhat busy due to it being a Saturday night. But we had the BEST customer service and great tasting donuts! The worst service ever! The lady at the cashier was very rude and had the worst attitude. She didn't use any of her manners. I didn't even get a "thank you" or a "you're welcome. You don't just ask someone "what can I get you?" (Said it in a rudely manner). She didn't get my order right, so she got mad that she didn't even listen to what I was saying, she just walked away. I asked about her party pack coffee that was on the board if it came with sugar and creamer, and she pointed at the napkins counter. Worst service I've experienced anywhere in a while. I'm visiting from out of town and just don't get what the problem with Albany, GA is. This place was by far the worst of my bad restaurant experiences here. It was on 7/22/17 around 9:30/9:45. The lady behind the counter inside was so rude to my husband and me. No greeting, just a staring glare and "what do you want?" As we asked for 6 donuts she just stared at us and when we hesitated to continue she scolded us with "I'll get it all." We continued to finish our order of 6 donuts, she went to the back to get 2 of the donuts, meanwhile we swiped our card for the 6 donuts and she came back pretty pissed that we did that because she wanted to charge us for 7 donuts which, she did. The whole experience was really confusing and frustrating because she made us feel so unwelcome and then purposely charged us for an extra donut. We realized that fact after we left of course. So very tired of being treated like this and Albany, GA so far in my opinion seems to have a bad track record for bad customer service.
