I love this doughnut place - there is nowhere better in Tallahassee! There is a wide range of flavors to choose from, and every single one is worth eating. I love the maple bacon and the fruity pebbles. They have other items to choose from as well, and the service is always top notch. The place is small but quiet, so you can sit and eat if you'd like. This is my favorite donut shop besides krispy kreme. In terms of donus i think franchise wise krispy kreme is king. But when i found donut kingdom i was blown away. By its size of the donuts, diffrent flavors and cheaper price. I felt like i found the spot that hits me in the right spot. 2009 was the year. I was in Tallahassee for a Model UN competition. One morning we stopped at Donut Kingdom, and thus, my love affair with them began. I recall having a strawberry-frosted donut and thinking it was the best donut I had ever eaten. So sinfully scrumptious... I dreamt of it repeatedly. Enter 2019 and I go visit a friend in town. Clearly I needed to return to see if the donuts there lived up to those in my memories. Have to say nope, nope, nope. Not even close! Then again, we went at night after dinner. Well! We are back on the road. My daughter had a softball camp and my son and I have a five minute limit of watching. So, it's 8:05am and he and lock eyes and say "Donuts!". My niece graduated from FSU a few years back, so we called her to get the local scoop and she said before I could finish "DONUT KINGDOM! Go!" So we arrived a few minutes later and parked in the Whatabuger parking lot (gps took us there), but it is right next door. When you walk in, it is a place filled with bright colors, delicious scents and big smiles! Yes, even at 8 something in the morning, we were greeted with a big smile and great conversation. Her name is Annalise and she was very patient with us as noobies. She also is a talented singer who is doing great things at FSU. But back to the donuts, we got a variety of donuts (14 total). We obviously couldn't eat all of them but we did try the Red Velvet (no cream cheese), Apple Fritter, Fruity Pebbles, French Toast, Glazed and Key Lime Pie. Now we didn't eat all of each donut we have slivers of each of them but man, they all were delicious and fresh. I asked him what his favorite one was and he said "Hands down, The Red Velvet! But I haven't tried the others...should I try another one!" I told him we need to try them at lunch and if he changes his mind we will edit this! For me the apple fritter is on point but I am an old person. Also, the apple fritter doesn't come as a donut but for me it was the best. Overall, the donuts are great, coffee is hot and the people were better than both. Again, if you are in Tallahassee and looking for a place where there is value in the food and is filled with people who are nice and make you feel special, this is the place for you! It will be a staple for sure! It is only donuts, coffees, ice cream and cookies. If you need an egg sandwich, chick fila is across the street! Sweet treats only in here! See you soon! read more

The vegan glazed donut was everything I wanted and more. I didn't get a photo of it but the glaze all around the outside was just perfect. The size of the donut was great and the taste phenomenal. Got the last one so it's obviously a hit not just with me but with other people too. read more

The kingdom of donut's is a little difficult to find. As with any good sugar kingdom you must hide a little bit from the Vermicious Knid's. The Kingdom is right off the main road in a little building hiding behind a larger building. Your GPS will tell you to make a right turn way before the location. The inside seems a little broken down maybe they're going through some sort of remodel. Some of the best choices we're already sold out by the time I got here in the evening. There's some great choices, I had to leave with French toast, cinnamon bun, Twix, Snickers, Fruity Pebbles and a glazed. The downside here is that there was an upcharge 4 Fruity Pebbles. How are you going to tell me a Fruity Pebbles cereal cost more than Twix candy? As a matter of fact I know a box a cereal for $3.50 is any of you a lot more mileage then a bag of mini Twix for $3.50. The bathroom was terrible. I was disappointed with the Twix and Snickers. The Twix donut was essentially coffee flavored caramel dip on top of a donut ring with a little chocolate drizzle. It was not a very good representation of Twix candy. The French toast donut was really good I wish I got two of them. Cinnabon donut add cream cheese frosting it was also very delicious of the six pack I got those two are definitely my favorite. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely probably stop here. The sign advertises "donuts, bagels, coffee & more". We were hoping to get a breakfast bagel and donuts to go. They only had 2 bagel flavors which were not freshly baked and the topping options were butter and plain cream cheese pre packaged. The donut variety was far better than the bagels but some of the flavors were not good. Specifically the French Toast donut. No bueno. The jelly donut also wasn't good. The other flavors were ok. I was able to get in right before closing time and the young ladies who were working were still very kind, personable and patient as I made my choices. This may be the best doughnut shop in Tallahassee except for their basic glazed doughnut which had a taste I didn't like. I'll stick with Krispy Kreme when I want just warm glazed doughnuts. For everything else, this is the place to go for delicious doughnuts at a reasonable price. I got a dozen assorted and my wife and I enjoyed them all (except for the glazed). Unlike So Dough, which thinks each of their doughnuts is a masterpiece and prices them accordingly, these local folks make great tasting and creative doughnuts at a reasonable price. Amazing gormet-style donuts! I was craving unique and tasty donuts, and decided to give this place a try...and I was very pleased. The donuts were fresh, flakey and delicious. The fruity pebbles ones were my favorite (it would be so cool though if they came in a white frosted topping!) and the bacon maple was so good. My little ones even loved this place, and were so excited to go. I've been craving these donuts since my trip here, and I cant wait to go back. It's sort of a tradition to find a local donut place at every new city my boyfriend and I go to. So after searching on yelp and asking around, we found this place! Atmosphere: a little tight on space inside, the register is right when you walk in and it's hard to form a line without getting in people's way. They do offer seating inside and have one table outside. I would say this is a grab and go type of place. Food: we got 1/2 a dozen and an iced coffee with hazelnut. The donuts were 2 strawberry glazed with sprinkles, 1 old fashioned cinnamon, 1 double chocolate, 1 red velvet, and 1 Boston cream. The winner was the old fashioned cinnamon. It was so simple, tasty, and light. The donuts taste fresh and has this slight sweet bready taste that I really like. The strawberry glazed ones did look as if they glazed them while they were still hot but overall pretty good. The red velvet was too dense in my opinion. Overall, would stop by again! read more

In fact, I normally laugh at the people that do U-turns when the lights pop up at Krispy Kreme. These aren't your cookie cutter donuts, folks. These are delicacies to get excited about. A long line was expected when I arrived, but the empowering smell of freshly made donuts brought a giant smile to my face. I indulged in a new treat (blueberry pancake) and one of my go-to's (caramel apple). Both were served with a rich glaze atop and a sweet, gooey center. The donuts are light as air. Ultimately, this is the perfect bite. I prefer Donut Kingdom to any chain, even the one with that infamous hot sign. And now they serve local coffee heroes, Lucky Goat Coffee. Talk about a colossal collaboration! Two fresh donuts and a 16 oz. iced coffee ran me a hair over $4. To me, that's money well spent. I'm nuts for these donuts. Treat yo'self. read more

They have a good variety of flavors- lots of them with cinnamon. Tried their traditional glazed and cinnamon twist. I enjoyed the glazed donut. It was surprisingly light for a cake donut. Good flavor on the glazed and not overly sweet. The cinnamon twist was very good. Would go great with coffee. My only criticism is that it was very greasy. Would still eat it again though. read more
