I was super bummed to find out they were out of the vanilla kreme donuts, which is my go to donut and the reason for choosing this donut shop over others, but I got over it! The French toast donut ended up doing the trick, the excess frosting/sweetness is what I strive for! I wasn't a fan of the cake donuts, they were a bit dry, but the others were good! I would recommend some attention and cleaning, the cobwebs on the way to the restroom, the baseboards, the lack of toilet paper in the restroom and the ring under the slightly moved table we sat at, gave me a feeling it might be a little dirty in the back too. read more

The service was normal and pretty quick and simple. She was patient with me considering it was my first time there and was checking out the stock. Ambiance is pretty normal, the donuts are visible as soon as you walk in the door. Pretty good donuts overall, definitely a cheat day spot. Ain't it great to get another good local business on our side of town. I have been a fan of their location on W Tennessee St and now I only have to go up the street to get some of the best doughnuts in town. They are on the Crowder Rd end of the Lake Jackson Trading Post Shopping Center. The interior is nice and new with a layout similar to their other shop. They have a drive through as well. During these "stay at home" times they are practicing social distancing so don't crowd up inside. On this first day of their soft opening there was one other customer inside when I visited around 10 am but they said business has been brisk. The drive through was staying busy too. They had a good selection of different doughnuts to try. I am not a fan of the taste of their basic glazed doughnuts but everything else I have tried here and at their other location has been delicious. They also have ice cream and milkshakes which will probably help them stay busy later in the day and evening when life gets a little more normal. I look forward to the day when we can slip up there and sit down with a cone of tasty ice cream. read more

The donuts are not horrible but definitely not what we expected. One we ordered a Chocolate Cake, Maple Glazed, and a Chocolate Sprinkle but we got 2 maple glazed (my son thankfully was ok with the maple glazed) and one chocolate cake. None however matched the pictures in the drive through. The maple glazed was a sour cream cake donut then glazed in maple glaze and was double glazed and kinda dry, the picture was of a yeasted donut so just know it may be a different style that the picture. The cake had crumbled cake on top in the drive through and it was just a basic cake donut with the sour cream style glaze. Don't know if they were running out of stuff as we ordered the red velvet originally and they were out of cream cheese frosting glaze. Just hope they update the pictures to match what they are actually serving. Also know that no employees were wearing masks. Just wanted to add this since a posted review with a picture of their policies on this listed on FB is no longer accurate. But did you killer that they can help you maintain social distancing while getting your donut fix? Let me tell you... While I'm sure the main branch on Tennessee street is maintain social distancing when you go in, the Monroe street beach does that one better. You don't have to go in! They have a drive through. And when we went the other day, the amazingly friendly person working the register had a mask and gloves on.
