There's indoor and outdoor seating and regardless of where you sit, the ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is so pretty. If you aren't aware, Bacari serves small plates that are meant to be shared within the table. We ordered several small plates and shared among us all. There was not a single thing we disliked. We all liked everything we tried! I think my favorite dish that we ordered was the pesto-stuffed mushrooms. They were so savory and delicious!! Our waiter was super patient with our rather large table and made some recommendations to us, so we appreciated that! Parking here is valet, but you can also get street parking on the main road or in the nearby residential neighborhood

The lamb hummus is absolutely delicious and definitely one of my favorites. We also enjoyed the Bacari pancakes, which were fantastic, along with the shawarma tacos. Everything was flavorful and so enjoyable. I also had a wonderful tequila cocktail with ginger and turmeric that was incredibly refreshing. Definitely a drink I'd order again! What makes Bacari so special is the combination of great food, attentive service, and a fantastic location. The staff is always welcoming, and the hospitality makes every visit a pleasure. Always a wonderful experience. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Went here last Saturday and we arrived at 10:30am and added our name in the waitlist. In less than…read more5 mins we were seated. Since it's only me and my youngest son we were seated in a 2top. When we arrived there were options for indoor or outdoor but we prefer to sit inside. You can order using the QR code or through the server. I ordered chai latte and my son got mocha latte, for food we ordered 2 items to share - breakfast quesadillas and brunch carbonara. The brunch carbonara is my choice as I liked that it uses Arborio rice and all the elements of a carbonara but what elevated the dish was the green sauce all around the plate so you can mix it. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and placed on top so you can imagine it soaked up on the rice. Very filling! I switched plates with my son and he also liked my order. If I were to recreate this at home I'll definitely put more bacon. In The breakfast quesadilla is also flavorful and it comes with 3 sauces. I only tasted it but we had this to go as it was also a huge serving. The drinks are good value the price. Overall experience here better than the Tarzana location (which is now closed). Note that this is a semi self service place which is why they adjusted their options for tip. We ordered via the QR code so we paid before we got the service. We left around 11:30 and the restaurant is now full and had a longer wait time.

I understand using a QR code to place your order. It's not my preferred dining experience, but I…read morecan accept that's how the restaurant operates. What bothers me is being asked to choose a tip before I've received the service. I'm given options like 10%, 15%, 18%, or 20%--but how am I supposed to know what level of service deserves 10% versus 20% when the service hasn't happened yet? If I choose 10% and the service is excellent, I may feel like I should have tipped more. If I choose 20% and the service is poor, I feel like I've overpaid. Ironically, this system makes me more likely to choose a conservative tip every time. I'd much rather have the option to tip after the service is provided, when I can actually evaluate the experience. My recommendation: keep the QR ordering if you want, but move the tipping option to the end of the meal, after the service has been provided. That would make tipping feel more fair and meaningful.

We had been to Claudine, which is very good, although the dining room can be quite loud. We also tried Blu Jam Cafe, which was just okay. Big isn't necessarily better! We visited a few other places along the way that probably don't deserve a mention. Today, we discovered Sweet Butter Kitchen, and what a pleasant surprise! We were lucky enough to find parking quickly, which is always a great way to start a breakfast adventure. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a very cute, cozy dining room that was beautifully decorated for Halloween. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxed. My wife ordered her usual avocado toast. It was very good, although we still think Claudine has the best avocado toast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and it was excellent. We also tried the chips, which tasted homemade and were absolutely delicious. While we were having breakfast, I watched plate after plate of pancakes marching past our table. They looked fantastic! I already know what I'm ordering next time: the pancake combo. But one thing that really stood out at Sweet Butter Kitchen was the service. The young lady at the front was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Sweet Butter Kitchen is definitely a must-try. I can't wait for next Sunday so I can bring my son and introduce him to some serious, heavy-duty breakfast! Until then ....the pancake combo is calling my name.

We were able to find free street parking right out front. Inside is also quite large, so there are plenty of table options, and groups of different sizes can all find a place to sit. The menu is also quite large and has a lot of great options on it. For this visit, I decided to mix two of my favorite Benedicts and chose to do a Lobster and Chorizo Benedict. I was thinking about adding avocado but thought that would've been too much. The dish was fantastic and every part of it was enjoyable. The lobster was warm and buttery, and the chorizo was perfectly crispy. I also like how they give you three eggs instead of two. I will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone in the area searching for a great breakfast or lunch option.

Twinty was open and located next to the Rachel and Rose bridal shop, where I purchased my summertime wedding dress, last year. They had exactly what I was searching for and a cozy, and very thoughtful neighborhood brunch spot. The service was super amicable and it's easily accessible, a short walk away. Also, since I started my micro-dose GlP1 journey to shed 15lbs. The tummy is super sensitive to high sugar, saturated fats, and unhealthy foodies. And Twinty has a menu that is both gentle and healthy. My friend arrived and we entered Twinty Cafe. There were customers deep into their typing on their laptops and an earlies 20's couple into share loving glances at one another. The interior was very clean with exposed brick and lots of earth tones. Ordering our food and drinks we saw that the work area was clean and organized. Great place to people watch.

I wish I had read my last review from 9 yrs ago before revisiting this place today…read more Let me tell you about the good things first... this won't take long. Kelley, our server, was a sweetheart. And the glass of wine was a nice pour and a decent wine. I like that they let you in for something to drink before officially opening for the day. Cue record scratch... now about that food. No, we did not order the wrong thing and no, IMO, they were not just having a bad day. Look at these Huevos Rancheros with "house hash, tostadas and 3 eggs"... those are chips (I think from a bag of tortilla chips) so not really a tostada, no way there were three eggs in that thing (from what I could see)... not sure what the "house hash" is but nothing I could identify on the plate. I know a lot of people might leave a restaurant and say "I could have made that at home" but there is no way I would make something this crappy at home. LOOK at this Avocado Toast with "avocado spread"... that is some thin smear of something green but when you are calling something "Avocado Toast" there should be a substantial amount of the hero ingredient (and maybe not call it "avocado spread" on your menu description. To me, that says, "Look we don't want to call this a "rustic mash of avocado" or "Hass smash" or "hand-crushed ripe avocado" because we know you are actually going to SEE it in front of you in about 15 minutes and "avocado spread" won't lead to a major disappointment." But it did. And this slab of dry plywood that they were calling toast. I turned to my wife and in my best Sebastian Manascalco said, "Why would you do that??" This place mostly failed on food. The food at the other tables looked equally pathetic. Gotta say... all of the cooked egg components of each dish were decent but the rest of the items were like WTF? Ambiance? It's OK... I mean it was a bar with a ton of TVs going. Semi-nice vibe for a sports bar... lots of room. Just can't get over the food. We ate about half of our sodium bombs and left. But parts of the eggs were lovely... as was Kelley.
