I finally tried Krazy Karaoke!! Location: If you remember where Gold's Gym was, I believe its now called Powerhouse Gym, its in that same building, just off to the far right hand end of that structure, right before you hit the canal. Parking: Shared parking with other businesses nearby. Open lot style, but be careful to watch for any signs indicating any specific rules for specific stalls. Directly infront of the Karaoke place are only a handful of stalls closest to this business. Stalls are a decent size, not too small or tight, but not Costco type large with the double lined stalls. To get to the business you have to walk from the outside signage through a long hallway, the bathrooms are located outside the business on the left hand side right before the doors for Krazy Karaoke We got a room for just two of us, and there was a very large range, including filipino songs, local/Hawaiian songs / gospel songs. Even some newer songs as well! The staff was amazing, World class service, and we will definitely be returning!

It's BYOB and you can bring your own food! ...the perfect venue for a group that likes to get together and karaoke. They have ice available for you and an ample parking lot for all your friends. Monday's are 1/2 off and I believe Tuesdays are military day? It's not the most modern Karaoke place, but aunty Lani and the staff are super nice and accommodating. The karaoke never has commercials that eat up time, and we've never had an issue with our karaoke system in the many times we've been here. No freezes or glitches as long as you listen to their tutorial on how to use the remote, and use some common sense, you'll be fine. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone on the island. Enjoy and happy karaoke-ing.

I actually asked for two more bowl and shared it with two other people. It was fresh and really good. Our group also appreciated that they had a TV with hookups we could use for our presentation. This place would be great for family parties, birthday parties, baby showers, recreational activities, and even private functions. Today's visit was because of the MAKAHIKI festival which my sons Cornwall and Hula Halal had performed for today. Aside of the activities for the MAKAHIKI festival, the performance was awesome. Being that they did a lot on their own by themselves for the first time they did well. HOWEVER, to hold an event & to utilize these facilities, you must have MILITARY CONNECTIONS. OF COURSE, Public access is available to civilians, but with LIMITED ACCESS to the beachfront & shores ONLY. Civilians are NOT ALLOWED to use or rent the facilities. I asked the CITY & COUNTY and they said this place IS NOT on their list & as far as for the STATE, they said they have no rental information on these facilities. So... that means... it's through MILITARY OFFICIALS ONLY! To be honest, I'm SURE military will say it's because this is "PEARL HARBOR", where their military is located, they have to take precautions to whom has access to the area. WHICH FOR ME, KINDA SUCKS because this place WAS once where my kupunas (older aunts & uncles) used swim & look for oyesters for food & pearls for jewelry/decorations, WAAY before the HARBOR was built for the military and now... a grandniece of theirs, a KANAKA, has LIMITED access to the area. As a civilian... we're FORBIDDEN from using "THEIR FACILITY". Doesn't really seem fair, doesn't it?! But that's the so called RULES. let's hope in due time there is a way to allow civilians the use of this area WITHOUT military connections. Anywho, if you have a chance to rent this spot, GO FOR IT!!!! And be sure to TAKE CARE OF THE PLACE TOO! Just because military has the say over this area, doesn't mean we should destroy or ruin the property itself. It is still OUR AINA! And Regardless if your ARE KANAKA OR NOT, just treat this place as if it was YOUR OWN HOME. And if you MISTREAT it and say that's how you'd treat your own home, then I can only imagine how embarrassed your parents must feel to have raised such a sloppy individual. POOR THING, YOU... SAD... SAD... SAD... BEING. Okie dokes... artichokes! Have a good one and thanks for reading.

Well the simple answer is because we're all looking for something new and different to do once in a while with family and friends. And that exactly why we ended up at Wai Kai. It was a chance to hang out with our kids and friends before they returned to school after the winter break. The obstacle course was a ton of fun, we took advantage of the other water activities too, and we also opted to get a couple cabanas too so we could all hang out. It was perfect for our group of 20. Some of the restaurants were closed the day we went, but the takeout food at The Lookout was delicious. We also enjoyed some cold beverages too. BTW, the Nalo Lounge is a great option for $25/person if you want to store your belonging and take a shower before heading to your ext destination. For local families, take advantage of the kamaaina rates. The family is already excited about going back when the kids are back home this summer.
