Stumbled upon this cute place while visiting from out of town for job interviews. We are so glad we ventured inside rather than continuing to look for a Starbucks. The paninis were delicious - we ordered the breakfast panini and the turkey and avocado panini. They were fresh and hot. We also had two pastries. The quality of foam on the cappuccinos was impressive, including the one made from oat milk. The cute artwork was also a major plus! The cafe is very clean. We loved the seats with the swings. The black coffee was satisfactory, and the ambiance was pleasant. However, I recommend serving the yogurt parfait in a larger bowl. The current cup is too small, making it challenging to access the layers beneath without items dipping into each other when fruit and yogurt are piled on top. read more

First time here and we were impressed. This cafe was clean, organized and cozy. I love the Christmas blend coffee I ordered. It was smooth and perfectly sweetened. The pastries were good too. They were very busy but our coffee came out in a timely manner. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful with the menu. The person that took our order even made my daughter's day by designing her latte with a rabbit. How sweet! We love supporting local businesses and this will be our go to coffee place. This place is really hit or miss. I suggest skipping on their food items and getting coffee only. I've been here about 3x now, when I first tried this place, I started by just ordering a latte & pastry. It was decent so I decided to come back with my bf and we had coffee along with some food - an avocado toast. The avocado toast was so small and minimal/ bland. So overpriced for what you're getting! I wish I would have taken a picture but it was honestly embarrassing. I couldn't believe it, definitely if you're planning on trying a good avocado toast skip it here.. go to Presso or Gold Cup instead Or even River Maiden -- (they have really good breakfast/lunch sandwiches & coffee!) The last and final time that I came here I decided to switch it up and come for lunch. I tried their Panini breakfast sandwich along with the seasonal iced drink that they had. Both were SO horrible, I didn't think I could've gotten worse, but it did. My drink was nothing but like syrup ?? it was so sweet and completely not what I expected, it was supposed to be a lemonade? My sandwich was super burnt!! I ended up getting these items to go because I was on my way to work. I ended up throwing both away and I haven't been back since! The aesthetic is cute with the swings and the tables and they have okay lattes, which is why they are only getting two stars from me. Amazing place! With amazing customer service! They love and respect all their costumers, and keep everyone safe. They respect everyone who comes in with a medical reason due to not wearing a mask and they do not harass them about. Mask wearing is not a law it's a personal choice, so no one is breaking the law here. By law those with medical reason are protected by Hyppa and the ADA Everyone was social distancing in the coffee shop. Literally the best coffee shops I've been to in a while. +1 super cute inside, lots of tables and chairs, swings as chairs is super cute, new and updated place +1 staff was super nice to us, was my first time there and was happy to explain any of my questions and concerns +1 quality of coffee and food was amazing ! Iced Vanilla Latte: 10/10 smooth, not too sweet and not to bitter =perfect Avacado Cheese Panini: 10/10 delicious panini super filling and the perfect amount with a small side salad +1 perfect location, lots of parking easy to find the location +1 music was played, I love when coffee shops have music super relaxing and chill vibes. My friends and I were in there for 2 hours not realizing what the time was If your in the area, or want to try this place out this place won't disappoint! The food and drink is amazing. The desert every time is not the greatest. Taste like it's been sitting forever in the fridge. The avocado toast is delicious and I ate it all, although I feel like they could add a little bit more of the avo spread. I absolutely loved this place and I am regretting that I did not try it sooner. I ordered the honey lavender latte and it was absolutely delicious as well as the mixed berry pastry. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was great and it was a nice place to just sit and read and enjoy being out in a great local coffee shop. My husband took me out for a coffee date this morning and our go to spot we forgot wasn't open yet so we found this place on Yelp. I often don't have high hopes for coffee shops in strip malls for some strange reason but this place is exceptional. From an interior and lighting designer this place was carefully thought out. The attention to detail was beautiful. From the herringbone wood floors, to the wall application, the paint colors, the furniture, lighting and the beautiful goldware and clear glasses. It's all in the details. I didn't get the chance to praise the owners so hopefully they read the reviews. We had a vanilla latte, plain coffee, croissant and a pastry with cream cheese and cherry filling. I noticed there were some beautiful pieces of pastry art in the cold case. I helped myself to some water that was filled with fresh strawberries and lemons from a self serve side table. The seating near the front were wooden swings. We didn't opt for that since we are not the lightest people and wanted to be more comfortable. It looked fun though. There was a nice large table in the center that would be perfect if you had some work to do, a nice amount of room to enjoy coffee and something to eat and have room to work as well with space to spare for others. They brought us our pastries and coffees on a beautiful wooden tray with everything needed. It was quite lovely. The croissant was perfectly flakey and buttery, the vanilla latte was delicious. A tiny bit too sweet for me but I think its because I ordered the 12 oz and I usually order an 8 oz. My husband liked his coffee and pastry as well. We will surely be back to have more coffee, conversation and some delicious food. I've been to this place several times, and here are a few things to note. The atmosphere is nice, but the food is incredibly overpriced, very subpar, and the service is extremely slow. It's great to find a place that looks cute and all, but if the food isn't affordable, and doesn't taste that great, then it's a no for me. It's just one of those very overpriced ritzy cafés that really doesn't have much going for it. Other than the fact it looks nice. Many better options out there around town! read more

Honestly this place is very overrated. Stood in line for 20 min and didn't even get to place my order in. And there was only one person in front of me already ordering. Highly under staffed and even when there's enough workers it still seems to take forever. Seating arrangement is horrible. Huge dining table and a couch area that is basically unusable if it's occupied by 1 person. Would be much better to replace that with more smaller 2-3 person tables. Just seems the design focused only on aesthetic vibes vs functionality. Honestly probably my last time here, food isn't even that good and highly overpriced. read more

10$ coffee!! I got a white chocolate lavender latte wanted three shots and oat milk iced. They only pull doubles so you have to pay for four shots if you only want three. Then they made it wrong, they made it hot. When I got my iced drink, it had like 3 cubes of ice and honestly doesn't taste that good. While sitting by the window drinking coffee, I watched 5 customers walk in without wearing masks. The span of about ten minutes. Even witnessed an employee take his mask off to converse with the customer that wasn't wearing one either. Looked like a nice, new cafe to try until I walked in & it was very crowded with no one wearing masks (not certain if employees were). I saw no social distancing of any kind. I promptly left. Other reviewers say how kind the staff is, but is making Covid protocols optional really being "kind" to all your patrons? WARNING Honest Review. The coffee, food and service here are top notch. In my opinion the top 3 coffee shops in Vancouver along with Gold Cup and The Great North. But guys, as seen in all the reviews below, they don't enforce the mask mandate for customers. All the staff wears them when preparing coffee/food as well as when interacting with customers. If you have a compromised immune system or aren't wanting to be around people who aren't wearing masks, I would not recommend going here. If you are okay with people around you not wearing masks then this is an awesome coffee shop with delicious food, pastries, and coffee!!! read more

Great place!! The coffee is good. The food we got was good (As evidenced by the picture of the empty plate, my kids clearly LOVED and demolished their Nutella crepe). But more importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Props to owners for creating such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Poor customer service, we were in the middle of eating our food when a staff told us to move to a different table. Me & my gf were in the big table with the swing and they told us to move to the table in the middle where that time there were 4 kids (2 toddlers). We visited Kray's after finding them on Instagram. And, they definitely lived up to their social media hype. The aesthetic of the cafe itself was welcoming and whimsical whole also being modern and minimalist. The owners were super friendly and enthusiastic. During this visit we tried some coffees (nitro cold brew and a lavender, soy latte), crepes (Nutella with strawberries & bananas), and we also took some pastries to go for later nomming. First of all the lavender latte was one of the best that I'd had, it's very easy to over flavor, and this was the perfect mingling of coffee, (non)dairy, and flavor. I'm still thinking about it. The crepes were incredibly tasty, the batter they use is flavorful, which is missed by a lot of cafes. I HIGHLY recommend and while I want to try other things on their menu, I can see myself constantly ordering this. Finally, the to-go pastries were just *chef's kiss*. If you have even the slightest sweet tooth please do yourself a favor go try their pastries. I cannot wait to try them all. AND, best of all, they're all made in-house by one of the owners! Welp, I've gone on long enough and have truly done you a disservice by keeping you this long and away from Kray's. So, put this down and go! You won't regret it! read more

I must say I don't give bad ratings often, but damn this was the worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. I ordered a white mocha and it tasted nothing like a white mocha. I mean hands down absolutely the most bitter drink I've ever had. I asked them to make it sweet and with whip cream. They forgot the whip cream which is no problem but I had one sip and had to toss it. It was disgusting and I don't even know what it was. Looked like chocolate drizzled around the cup and it tasted so sour and bitter. The girl behind the counter looked uncomfortable and I didn't want to bother her to remake it. The coffee shop was at full capacity when we walked in and we were the only group with masks on. The guests were young - I would say late teens, maybe early 20's. The baristas would pull down their mask to talk to their guests. After we ordered, we watched as the male barista pulled down his mask to smell all of our drinks. Then he handed a drink to another barista and she pulled down her mask to smell too. We were shocked and didn't know what to do. We ended up leaving and throwing away our drinks outside.
