Decided to make our way in one morning for brunch after seeing reviews on social media. It's located in a small strip mall with pretty compact parking spots. The restaurant is very small, about 3-4 tables inside and there's a small bar top dining area against the window. When we first walked in, we stood there waiting to be greeted by the young gal at the counter. After we ordered our food, we grabbed the closest table behind us. The tuna melt was really tasty and it was a really nice portion compared to other places. The potatoes and biscuits and gravy was very underwhelming. Everything was so bland and the biscuit underneath the gravy was hard and dry. Not in a rush to come back any time soon, but if we do end up back here, I would probably try a salad or another sandwich. read more

It was my boyfriends birthday & I wanted to get some sweet treat treats for dessert. I looked up bakeries nearby & this popped up. You walk in & there's so many to choose from along with some pastries. I went with a blueberry cheesecake for him & grabbed a scone, chocolate cookie, & peanut butter bar for myself. The scone was so moist inside & not too sweet. The peanut butter bar wasn't the texture I thought it'd be. If you're a pb lover, definitely try that. The cookie was a chocolate lovers heaven, again not too sweet & chewy. The cheesecake was also really good, nice consistency , loved the blueberries in it. Looks like they serve breakfast too. Ok guys, you really need to try Forevers Bakery on Hwy 99 if you love freshly made from scratch baked items, along with breakfast and lunch. We ate there for the first time yesterday and it was outstanding! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and it was SO tasty. It had tarragon chicken, mayo, onions, celery, tomatoes, lettuce and probably other yummy things. My Mom ordered their special which was an Italian sandwich along with their potato and leek soup. We shared halves of both of ours so I was able to try the Italian one as well. It had pesto, sun dried tomato, ham, salami, olives and other things. It tasted like an unbelievable slice of pizza straight from Italy. I also tried her soup and it was incredible. We also had a scoop of their awesome potato salad which was so flavorful! I had read a few reviews on this place prior to going in, but we were both really blown away at how absolutely tasty it was! I've heard their French dip, salads, quiche and a many other things they make are amazing as well! They actually have quite a large breakfast & lunch menu. Also, their place is really darling, clean and the staff are super friendly and accommodating! I personally miss Rosemary's Cafe which was located downtown. I honestly think Forevers might even be better, which is really hard to believe! I can't wait to take my fiancé back to try their breakfast which is served all day. They have biscuits & gravy which is his favorite! I'm also anxious to try their bakery items they have so beautifully presented in their showcase. I also have read that they do a lot of amazing special order cakes, cupcake and cake pops. They're on Facebook and Instagram and have been around here for two years now. What the heck!? Wish I had known sooner! They're a breakfast and lunch joint so their hours are 8 AM to 4 PM and closed Sundays and Mondays. Omg. Our first time here (actually ordered off DoorDash) and it was soooo good. Everyone loved their BLT and the fresh lemonade chefs kiss.

The food here ranges between good and great. The service is a bit slow but most times it's still worth the wait. My one star is for the owner/manager. Two times now I have heard her lack any decent customer service with folks who actually want to spend money in her store. Today I called for a cookie tray and she let me know there is a 20% up charge to cut cookies in half due to "the labor." She was rude and snippy. Delicious and fresh. Cute little bakery named after the owners granddaughter. It's charming and friendly and busy so get there before they run out of your favorites. Chicken salad on croissant brings back childhood memories of a French cafe I once ate at in Lynnwood, WA. I loved it. The strawberry roll is the favorite and we get it everytime. It's a shame this place doesn't have more reviews than it does. I happened to catch the word "bakery" out of the corner of my eye while cruising Hwy 99 for a decent donut shop this morning. Tucked back in a strip mall just north of Hazel Dell Lanes (Bowling Alley), and positioned in such a way you don't see it well from the highway, it's an easy shop to overlook. But with loads of parking and an overall convenient location to access, once you find it I hope you'll return regularly! I wish I would have caught the Owner's name, but she was sweet and welcoming as soon as I opened the door. She gave me a quick run-down of their offerings, and assured me EVERYTHING is made fresh in-house! The display case is loaded with all sorts of pastries and desserts; far more than what you'll find at ANY donut shop! I narrowed my view to a Raspberry Crème Croissant or a Cheese Danish with Berry Jam. I asked for a recommendation and then opted for the Croissant. Good God - it was heavenly. The ratio of Bavarian Crème to raspberry jam was perfect. The croissant itself was flaky and fresh. I can't get over how delicious it was! I'll certainly be back in the future - most definitely to sit down for breakfast or lunch. Really nice addition to HWY 99! Just got back from a tasty lunch with my husband to break up the work day. It was a real treat. Such a cute spot with lovely decor and friendly staff. We got the peanut butter chocolate bar and snickerdoodle cookie to share and they were phenomenal. All the other pastries looked divine and I look forward to trying more! For lunch my husband had the Italian mama and I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant but I think they accidentally gave me a turkey sandwich instead. Not what I wanted but it was still tasty and I was hungry so I didn't take it back. The sandwiches were both quite good but we felt they were a little expensive for the size and didn't come with any chips or anything. That's why I took off one star. ZERO STARS - DO NOT RECOMMEND Forevers Bakery is consistently subpar at best. Staff doesn't care and lacks knowledge of basic information every time I call or go in. My order is often wrong and missing items. Because it's the only bakery in my area I occasionally am a customer. But, no more! When I finally brought my complaints to the owner, Lisa's, attention instead of apologizing and making it right she said, "Oh well. We forgot [2/3] of your order." The owner has no idea how a refund for the missing items is only part of what a delivery customer pays. I am not refunded the service, delivery charge, or tip which for this order was over $10. When I tried to explain that I am out more money than just the per item costs and that their poor service is a huge inconvenience Lisa hung up on me. Giving her the benefit of the doubt that we were disconnected, I called back. She screamed at me and hung up again. What the heck??? Insult to injury. read more

Forevers is better than the area deserves, which is both a blessing and a curse. I am thrilled that they're here, but I fear they won't last if the area doesn't realize what a gem we have in an otherwise forgettable strip mall. I've had several sandwiches and baked goods from Forevers, and nearly all have exceeded expectations. Their menu is very similar to Bleu Door Bakery's, which is fine by me because I love Bleu Door's menu! The Turkey BLTA is filling and satisfyingly salty, though I wish it had an interesting sauce or ingredient to make it truly unique. I'm a sucker for a sandwich on a croissant, so I'll buy it again and add my own chipotle mayo or something at home. The Italian sandwich had excellent fillings, but the homemade focaccia foundation was a bit crumbly and thick (but still tasty). The cookies are generally excellent, though my favorite is the hazelnut and chocolate. We ordered a small quiche once and it was still liquid in the middle, but I'm empathetic because I've made the same mistake and frankly, I was impressed because it at least means they're making quiche from scratch! I really hope they do well enough to stick around, especially in the wake of my beloved Sweetheart Baking Co's recent closure. I'm also still smarting from the loss of Deda's, and if Hazel Dell loses yet another bakery, I will legitimately cry. read more

This is a hidden gem. The baked good are wonderful, but the big surprise was the lunch offering. I had a spinach salad with bacon and berries that was spectacular. I am all for supporting local small businesses but after going to this location three times. I'm no longer choosing this place. I went there the first time and got a scone that was delicious. The second time I got the same scone. I was asking about a special cookie to be made. The owner helped me and quoted me $10 and I was told to come back a week before I needed it. The owner was not very friendly and just seemed really rushed even though I was the only customer at the time. This was at 10am and It wasn't even their lunch time. Well, I go back and there was a new younger girl at the counter that had to keep asking the owner questions. The owner seemed really rushed and impatient with her and when the girl was asking what she should charge me the owner said $20. This is the first time we went to Forevers. I love the ambiance, food and service. My husband had the special Italian sandwich and freshly made Minestrone soup. He loved both. Everything is fresh and tasty and we didn't feel too stuffed and gross after we ate, probably because there are no preservatives. The cookies are awesome and we got the snicker doodle cheesecake, so decadent and delicious. The website with the menu is very detailed/clear and easy to navigate. There is a little dining area that is so bright, cute and comfy. Parking is easy. Prices seem fair, this isn't fast food, Gourmet. We can't wait to try the breakfast offered here. I found this place completely by accident. Walked by the store front. I peeked in the window and saw their menu. In my friend and I go. The food was fresh and very good. I had a sandwich which I will go back for. I had a thumb cookie that was just a 3. The reason I am writing this review is that both women working there were a FIVE STAR PLUS. The customer service was like your Mom attending to every detail of not only your food but your entire dining experience. My dining partner does not do reviews but has told at least 20 people about this wonderful gem in a very unlikey spot. Give them a try, you will not be sorry. So I have been in here twice now, once for goodies and once for lunch and goodies. For our lunch, my wife had the strawberry spinach salad (hold the bacon) and I had the turkey sandwich on a croissant. Both things were in the 8 to 10 dollar range and well worth it. All the ingredients seemed to to be of the best quality and the portions were generous. I don't know what previously occupied this space but the dining area is cute, clean and homey. There is a rotating selection of goodies along with others that are there on a regular basis. There are also some savory items and I no longer have to drive 4 miles to get a decent croissant. I now know where I'm getting my wife's Bday cake. Definitely part of our regular lunch rotation from here on out. read more
