Food is really good and fresh. I have two complaints. We did choose an early dinner time so we could avoid the loud music. I mean at the end of dinner it's fine but while you are still eating it's hard to carry a conversation with the rest of your party. It's fun but maybe a little later at night would be more appropriate. The other issue we had was the meat did not come out for a long time. Then all of a sudden after an hour they started to bring out tons of meat. Like more then you could fit on the plate at one time. They either need more servers or the servers needs to attend the the tables faster. read more

Took my family to this place because my sister was in town and she is from Texas and wanted to show her a legit Brazilian churascaria so i yelped this place. I came here for DineLA with my roommates as a girl's night out, and it was such a great experience! Our server was really personable, and she explained how everything worked since none of us had been there before, so that was really nice. We started off at the salad bar, so many options and all of them delicious, especially the Brazilian pork stew and the cheese bread. The mussels were not very fresh, but the broth was yummy, especially to dip bread into! After getting situated and getting some appetite into us, we turned our button on and the meat started coming. We tried so many types, but I would say the picanha, tequila chicken, and kielbasa were my favorites! The lamb was not as good as I had hoped it would be, which was kind of a bummer since lamb is usually my favorite. The servers would come to your table as long as the light was on, regardless of which color it was, so I think we actually got to try a lot of the normal menu, even though we only paid for the DineLA menu which was pretty cool. The ambiance at Kravings is fun and almost exotic. It's quite dimly lit, with a red glow from the lights and the plush seats (I liked how they had pillows in the booths, super comfy!), and they have an awesome playlist going, with a good mix of classics and more modern songs. The funnest part is that there are dancers who perform, and they're super enthusiastic, getting everyone involved. They'll literally come up to your table and pull you to dance with them, it's a fun time if you just go with it! It was Father's Day and we had made a reservation a week in advance for a booth. Their booths are spectacular; very dim, very intimate, beautiful throw pillows as well as comfortable ones to sit on, plenty of open space for a party of 4 or more. Only downfall is that there are only about 3 booths available in the whole place. Not a problem, that's just the design. We made a reservation for a booth on OpenTable and we were very specific about where we wanted to be seated. The day comes, we arrive, and we're the only ones in there save for a couple other small families. The place is pretty dead and empty. We tell them we made a reservation for a booth. They walk us over to a larger table in the distant corner and we remind them we wanted a booth, as was specified on OpenTable. The hostess, whose demeanor was that of a spoiled little girl extremely dissatisfied with her surroundings, told us, "Our booths are reserved a month in advance and this is the best we could do for you." Mind you, this was all said in a hurry and in a very annoyed tone. We were frankly a little disappointed that no one bothered to call us in the whole week before our reservation to let us know that they would not be able to accommodate us with our request. I asked her, repeatedly, if next time when we call in advance to reserve a booth, should I make sure that one would be available for the date we'd like it by and she repeatedly kept answering me with that there are many people calling to make reservations for booths. I really don't know how she, as a hostess, wouldn't be able to know if a booth is available over a month in advance... It's simply a yes or no answer; look on your system on the computer if someone's reserved it or not. She was just not having it with my asking her. Moreover, Kraving's policy is 1:45 stay for customers MAX seeing is that if you linger, you might eat more than what you paid for. Understandable. No problem. We took an hour. By the time we finished with our Father's Day meal, the booths that we had reserved a week in advance for were still empty... I don't know who this hostess was, but her attitude and tone was completely unnecessary and made no apologies for having told us something that was not true (a month in advance reservation for a booth). I don't recall her name, but she was wearing large eyeglasses and had a mole on her right cheek, and a tattoo in Hebrew. Whoever the manager is needs to have a talk with her about her customer service skills. Only reason why I gave 2 stars and not one is because there was one server handling the meat in particular that was really friendly and made us laugh plenty of times. Props to you, dude. It's not easy to go out during covic19 for dinner put I decided to try this Resturant for the first time. It was recommended by a friend. Plenty of parking outside and they also have additional parking in the back. I choice the $64.99 menu - eat as much as you want. One of the best places to go to on a very special occasion in the Valley and maybe even in Los Angeles. This restaurant used to be Charlie G's, and oh am I glad they renovated! Now, it's an amazing Brazilian barbecue! It's a meat lovers buffet, with a great salad bar to go along! The parking is great; there's a private lot, valet and even plenty of street parking available. The wait is decent and can even be avoided if you sit at the bar or make a reservation ahead of time. The staff is friendly and fun and very helpful in suggesting the best foods to try and how the whole Brazilian Barbecue deal works! I'd definitely recommend ordering the meat buffet. I'm not sure what it's called but it's a great deal. You get all the access to the self serve salad bar that you want and as much meat as you can eat from the waiters walking the floor with it. It's a great experience and the food is amazing! I loved most of the 16+ meats that they have on any given night, everything from tiger shrimp to lamb! They have a beautiful ambiance and the decorations are great! The bar is fully stocked and the blue oysters on happy hour are delicious! At night, I believe on weekend nights, they have a great live singer/pianist that can sing opera! The guy is very entertaining! I'd definitely recommend maybe coming here for a great anniversary date that she won't forget! Or having your next business meeting here to seal the deal! Four of us came in last night for Dine LA. It was my first time at Kravings and second time at a Brazilian restaurant. First, kudos to Kravings for the great service-- from the time I arrived (I got there early) to the very end. The vibe was very chic and cool, but the hostess was warm and friendly. I waited at the bar for the rest of my party to arrive. My plan was to get my usual drink, but their cocktail menu was quite impressive. I ended up getting a kiwi caipirinha drink, which I highly recommend. Second, the food! Because we ordered from the Dine LA menu, our selection was limited, but not by much. I absolutely loved the lamb. So tasty! The side dish buffet was pretty good. I have only been to one other Brazilian restaurant (in Chicago) and it was 4x the size. So, that's the info I was working with. But, I enjoyed the sides I got. Btw, I totally appreciate that they were cool to us folks who were there for Dine LA. I've been to some places where they treated Dine LA diners differently. Third, tres chic ambiance. It has a Cute/Trendy Restaurant in a Big City Feel. But because of the crowd (mostly locals), it's really laid back. Inside, you might feel like you were in a cute neighborhood in San Francisco, and not Tarzana. I love their clams in lemon butter sauce. We ate their for lunch on a weekday. We were asked if we wanted the Rodizio ($16.95) or the salad bar buffet alone ($9.95/person). Rodizio came in with 6 different kinds of meat plus the salad bar, we were given a list and my daughter wanted to try some so we said we will do Rodizio we headed out for the buffet and there was a wide variety to choose from. There were 2 kinds of soup, hummus with pita, 2 kinds of salads and toppings, pasta, sushi, seaweeds, 2 kinds of rice, clams (which was my fave, and more... I went back 5 times for the clams, poured the lemon sauce over plain rice and it was perfect! By the, 3rd serving, I told our server that we were full and we just wanted to do salad only. Sad, i was not able to taste the meats as it looked so appetizing..maybe next time....$23.00 in all. read more

Probably my favorite place to eat in the valley. I like how they take the Brazilian BBQ concept and add to it with items like Tandoori chicken, Wasabi beef, and my personal favorite Tequila Lime chicken. The salad bar is good and had pretty much everything you would expect. During brunch they have an omelette bar, carved meats (tri-tip, ribs, and prime rib). Service has been top notch every time I go and it's nice that the servers will remember you and remember your favorite items. Dinner service means more meats and some items that are usually never served during lunch or brunch are offered here like filet mignon, rib eye, short rib, and BBQ shrimp. The atmosphere is dark with red on black tones. I really dig it since I think it provides for an intimate time with the significant other, but I know some people prefer bright settings. It is conveniently located right off of Ventura Blvd but in terms of quality of meats and appetizers it definitely lacks some sort of luster. We went there without much expectations, thinking this is just a regular Brazilian place. We were seated and the immediate thing I notice wasn't the food - it was the service! The dinner spread has more choices of meats and shrimp than I could ever think of putting on my grill - it was a feast of meats! The best part - the meat servers...is that what you call them? Well, these guy were spot on - our plates were never empty! So far, service = A+. Food = A+. One particular person I'd like to give kudos and major props to is Peter! He went above and beyond the call of duty and took time to engage with us during our meal...always asking if the meats were good, if there's anything else he could provide to the table. It is tentative and friendly staff like Peter that will keep customers coming back over and over again. Yes, the meat was good - but let's face it, I'm sure you can always say "I've had better..." - but the excellent level of service...is not something you can find just anywhere. This review is way over due. I have had Kravings cater 4-5 dinner parties for about 30 people. Each time I think the food has gotten better and it was always good to begin with. This past Sunday we had a party at our home for 28 people. We ordered: salmon, Tequila lime chicken, roasted chicken, lamb chops and tri-tip. Everything was hot and delicious, including the mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, bread with chimichurri sauce and all of the sauces that came with. I placed my order over the phone the day before and it was ready as ordered at the time I requested. The only negative, which admittedly is bad when you are hosting a party, is that they don't deliver if they are very busy which seems to be all of the time. I will definitely order from them again. We had a Christmas work party group of 18 people here. Their selection of meats they served us felt very limited (maybe because it was Sunday evening?) and they ignored some of us when it came to serving. Understandably they were probably annoyed with some in our party because they were constantly taking pictures (it's a work party after all) but this one server accidentally dropped salmon on me and didn't even apologize. I went here yesterday for Sunday brunch for my friend's birthday. We had a great time and filled ourselves to capacity with delicious food. Our server was Thais, and she was attentive and very pleasant. Quick with the refills of my iced tea, and more importantly, our champagnes. We had a few guys come by to slice meat for us, but our favorite was Peter. He is hilarious, and it is clear he believes in the quality of the meats he is serving. In addition to the table-sliced meats being great, the buffet had everything you could ask for. Shrimp, mashed potatoes, waffles, poached eggs, prime ribs, baby back ribs, omelette bar, grilled vegetables... I could go on and on. I seriously don't know how they offer such quality food at such a reasonable price. I'm bummed my buddy's next birthday is a whole twelve months away. We went there for Happy Hour (order by 7pm), but sat there till about nine. Firstly, as a constant critic of crappy service in the Valley, this place EXCELS. We sat near the bar, told them we are 8, when 12 turned up the manager and his staff were bloody brilliant. The Happy Hour menu was reasonable, none of us are drinkers. They didnt mind. One of the crowd had a birthday, we hadnt told them until the very end. They provided a creme brulee with a candle. The appetizers were appealing and the prices even more so. Adding insult to injury is the automatic 18% service charge added to each check (as if to eliminate the option to leave a lesser tip due to the above problems). I used to really love this place. I have been at Kravings Fusion several times. For occassions such as happy-hour, anniversary dinners, dinners with friends, and birthdays... Yesterday, I went because I had planned a 70th birthday brunch. It is as the five-star rating states: woo-hoo! as good as it gets! Peter and Jimmy: Peter is so amazing. He actually walked me to the grill area so I could take a pic or two. He made sure, along with Jimmy that the rodizio kept flowing. Peter, I tell you, went beyond and above! When you go there, I only hope he is your "gaucho!" Cecilia was awesome serving too. 3. Did I mention the food? I cannot believe this place exists. It is like someone asked me what I like to eat and offered unlimited amounts of it to me. I absolutely love the grilled vegetables. They were seasoned and grilled to perfection. That and creamy mussels on a bed of white rice made me very happy. The ginger steak was good too but I enjoyed the vegetarian offerings more. read more

Wow, it has been a long time since I wrote a review. This place was just toooooooo good. I have been to a number of Brazilian steakhouse type places but this was by-far the best. My friend JT is in town and he was going to treat my roommate and I to brunch. I was somewhat reminded of the brunch episode of "how i met your mother" since it was four dudes just hanging out and going to brunch together. This place combines an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet with the awesomeness of a Brazilian steak house. I had never heard of a restaurant doing this before. In short, this means about a dozen fantastic choices of MEAT being brought to your table over and over and over again while you enjoy champagne, waffles, omelet bar, and bacon. And the awesomeness does not stop there!!! Kravings is also a pretty swanky place. The moment the four of us walked in we realized we were fairly under dressed. This place is nice.
