Super impressed with this restaurant! My friend and I were looking for a dinner spot and stumbled upon Kravings. Immediately when we came in, we were greeted by staff and was told we had two options for food choices: we could either do the unlimited food menu or the standalone happy hour menu. Due to us having another event, we chose the happy hour menu which we had no regrets about! First, the restaurant has a mysterious aura about it. It has low lighting with glows of red. It definitely has a romantic / modern vibe to it which I appreciated. Since we did the happy hour, we sat at a two person table. The menu was extensive and the prices reasonable. My friend ordered the El Diablo burger with the seasonings vegetables and I ordered the Surf and Turf fries. My friend loved her burger and was super impressed on the size and portions:m. She stated that she knew the meat was great quality. My surf and turf was absolutely amazing and so flavorful. It was a huge portion too that came with 6 large shrimp and an 8 ounce steak sliced. The fries had chimichurri sauce on top. I also asked for a side of their jalapeño ranch sauce which I highly recommend everyone get! It was so delicious! With the happy hour menu being so delicious, I definitely plan on coming back for the Brazilian rodizio! The prices and food was excellent! read more

Food was good. Enjoyed the vegan options and will definitely return. Server was great. The ambiance was lovely.

I usually love Kravings. However, the meats were overcooked and dry this time. It was disappointing. The staff was very nice.

My girlfriend and I went to cravings for happy hour. We had two glasses of wine, a cheese charcuterie and flatbread. The bill came out to $90.50. When we ask the bartender if he had given us a discount because of happy hour he remarked yes it's on the bill. He said it was 21 and +4. The bill still was $90.50. We did not get a discount for happy hour. Please check your receipts before you agree to pay. When we ask where the discount was, he got very irate and ignored us. Also, the gratuity is already on the receipt the bill I will not be going back to cravings and I do not recommend recommend going. Especially when you're a senior citizen and get taken advantage of. read more

I'll start off be saying my family has hosted events here for years and we have always had a great experience- especially with Louis, one of the managers. However, this last event that we held at Kravings was just okay and the treatment we received from manager David afterwards means we will not be coming back again. We held my son's baptism brunch here, and Louis with the manager in charge that day. When we came in he immediately recognized my family and was incredibly generous with his hosting. My guests enjoyed the food but we had several food items missing, particularly the lox from the brunch menu. This was disappointing because I have a few guests who only eat fish. Not to mention the steak, kabob etc was never brought out. I had 4 guests who came later than expected and they were not given the full service (several dishes not brought out, not offered drinks etc). It was like they wanted us to just leave, even thought our contract allowed us to have the room until 3pm. I worked with David- the other manager- on the contract, and initially he was great to work with. When I emailed him after the even stating we didn't receive several items and that we had a guest who did not eat and should not be charged and wanted a partial refund, he became defensive and rude over email, stating he needed to "clarify" things for me that occurred, even though that had nothing to do with the missing items or being charged for one extra person or having 4 guests not get the full service. There were a few other things that did not go well on this day, but the experience was still good for my guests overall. I am mostly appalled at this level of engagement with David. What used to be a place that held fond memories for my family, and was supposed to be a happy day for my firstborn child is now bitter because of the treatment we received. My family and I will not be returning and I recommend you just go to Fogo de Chao for your event- it will cost the same and the food will be better. read more

Never knew that Kravings was a Brazilian BBQ buffet here in the San Fernando Valley, located in Tarzana to be exact. So far, the experience was amazing! Food was so delicious compared to other Brazilian BBQ. Ambiance was great and the service A1! Specially Luis and Carlos, that is how it should be, spectacular customer service. I would surely recommend this place, tons of options for drinks as well. We will surely come back and make this out go to Brazilian spot!!! read more

Great first visit impression. The food was amazing, well prepared and done in a timely manner. The food was priced fairly overall, and the lady who was working the entrance explained the whole process to us before accommodating us on our preference where to sit. The servers were courteous and attentive to our needs. The ambiance was amazing overall for a date night experience or with friends on a night out. Only small issue is the limited parking spaces available around, due to Kravings parking being shared with other shops next to it. We were fortunate to be able to park in front of the venue - there was also a parking structure in the back, but was unable to verify if there was a hourly rate to it. Other then that outstanding overall and thank you for a wonderful experience. read more

Went with family for my birthday brunch celebration. I've found this restaurant online, read the reviews and decided to patronize this establishment. It was one of the best decisions and experiences I've had! The staff was friendly and welcoming, our server Julian (i believe) was very accommodating and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food was exceptional with a variety of options. Free parking was available and wasn't crowded, mind you our reservation was set at 12pm! I really enjoyed this place. Now one of my favorites and I'll definitely return, since I would love to see there shows (Wednesday- Saturday ). Thank you Kravings for the memorable experience!! Oh and the brunch prices are affordable and well worth the visit. read more

Good service, some of the food was great busy mostly okay. The wasabi filet was amazing, but I think everything else left a lot to be desired. After we got our bill we were actually horrified at how much they charged, it was almost $300 for just dinner and a couple of drinks for two.I honestly don't know what on earth they charged so much for, but it definitely didn't feel anything like a $300 meal. read more

If you live in the San Fernando valley and want Brazilian bbq, then this is the place to go to. I'm not a huge meat eater and that's the reason I like this place so much. They also offer seafood and chicken at no additional cost, unlike some other Brazilian steakhouses. Location: it's on a corner in a small shopping area but don't worry, they have ample parking in the side/back lot. Weekends and nights are free parking in the structure. When we usually go, we don't make reservations and are able to get in with very minimal waiting but if your a big sized group then call ahead for sure. The ambiance inside is very lively, dim lighting gives it also a romantic vibe. Weekends they have dancers which is really nice and different. Now for the food. It's all you can eat with a variety of different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, checked and seafood. They also have a variety of sides to choose from. Before Covid you could go to the salad bar, now they bring the salad bar to you. They give you a sheet of paper with all the options and you get to choose what you want. Of course they will bring you more if you choose. My favorite thing about this place is that the service is fast and so good! We've been here numerous times and always leave happy and full!! read more

I went for happy hour, and became a huge fan. The food did not disappoint. Everyone I was with enjoyed what they ordered. The prices for happy hour are more than reasonable. The service has been top notch. I recommend happy hour. I haven't been here during other hours, but happy hour is quite generous, 3:30 to 6:30, every day they are open. read more

Absolutely loved everything about this place--from the moment we walked in, the ambiance was beautiful and inviting. The staff and servers were all so friendly and attentive, and the food just kept coming to the table--fresh, hot, and delicious every time! The drinks were great, the dancers brought such fun energy to the whole evening, and the overall vibe was just perfect for a fun night out. It truly felt like a complete experience, not just a dinner. I wish I remembered the manager's name because he was incredibly kind and made sure everything was going smoothly for us. That personal touch made it even better. Highly recommend Kravings if you're looking for great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to going back! read more

On Mother's Day we originally made reservations for 6;00 pm but we had to change them for 8:00 pm. When arriving , 3 different hostess saw us and didn't acknowledge us . Bad sign already. Some of us wanted to eat à la carte and asked to eat at the Patio. Website indicates you can order à la carte if eating at the patio. Upon arrival they told us that we all needed to eat all you can eat at the price of $79.99. They also said there was a limit maximum time to eat of 90 minutes due to Mother's Day. It took them 15 minutes to bring us water and some appetizers . The beets and beans were canned food. The grilled mushrooms were chewy . The meats that were served at our table were always the scraps from the left overs from the main dining room and were also chewy. By 8:50 pm they told us it was last called and that they will close the kitchen and no more orders will be allowed. Mind you they failed to tell us on the phone that they close the kitchen at 9:00. So why would they take our reservations so late? Also on the bill they add tax before tip. The servers were nice but awful food and expensive . Food quality was awful . Will never step a good there again. read more

This has to be one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in my life. My family came here tonight due to my mom always getting their marketing emails. Upon entry it took awhile for someone to help us and then to finally get seated. The restaurant was nearly completely empty so we asked for a booth but were told they are all reserved. Mind you when we left only 1 of them was occupied and the rest were still completely empty. Once seated we were presented with the menu and shown how to use the switches in order to request food and/or service. The ONLY reason they even deserve a star is because they frequently brought out the food and came for the service once the light was lit. However every single dish was completely awful. I took a bite of six different meats and two sides and not one impressed me. I left it all on the plate and shockingly enough my family did the same. All of the steaks were overcooked and not seasoned well. The meat tasted so dry and was inedible. Looking around 90% of the very few people that were in the restaurant were just getting drinks at the bar, I don't blame them because the food was underwhelming. We finished within 20 minutes of arrival and the server stated how fast it was. I explained to him how we didn't like any of the food and his response was simply "oh okay." He handed over the bill which already included 18% gratuity. After spending over $250 we truly felt like our money was robbed. We have been to numerous brazilian churrascarias and this by far was the worst one any of us have eaten at. Do not recommend at all. read more

Kravings - Grilled Pineapple - Steakhouses Near Me - Tarzana, California

Known for their Brazilian BBQ and flashy Samba Dancers, I'm sure many get so caught up in the shows that the food sometimes takes second place to the entertainment. But celebrating our 40th anniversary, I purposely chose one of the few nights that were Samba free (Sunday), to concentrate on the food and good conversation with my wife. Dinner Rodizio: Endless Brazilian BBQ & Gourmet Salads & Side dishes "As Much As Your Heart Desires". Sounded well worth the $64.99 per person! The 18% service charge? Not so much. But I understand the sales tax. We arrived before 5:30 so no reservation was needed. And were escorted to a requested booth immediately. Our server Julius was friendly and helpful enough; and the carvers reasonably so for the most part. A bit slow showing up with the next selection; like 10-15 minute waits with the green light on. And we're talking with minimum guests at this early hour. This all you can eat dinner begins with the following items automatically placed on your table: Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes (which I don't remember seeing) Curried Cauliflower Grilled Vegetables Basmati Rice Yucca Fries Chimichurri Fried Plantains Cheese Bread These selections turned out to be the best part of the meal, believe it or not. Especially the cauliflower and fried plantains. Of the numerous other sides you're given a list to check off, we chose the following: Couve (sautéed kale) Raisin Lentil Rice Grilled Asparagus (never seen in the deliveries) Pinto Beans French Fries The Raisin Lentil Rice, Pinto Beans and French Fries were the standouts here. I left all of the Kale for my wife to enjoy. Now Our BBQ Selections: Brazilian Picanha (Coulotte Steak): The best of the meats, though under seasoned. Beef Short Rib Roast: Very tender but way too salty. Koubideh Kebob (USDA prime ground beef): Meh, in our opinions. Grilled Pineapple (Abacaxi): Delicious as advertised! 28 Day Aged Bone-in Ribeye: Just Okay And other than my Real Lemonade, and the tasty side selections to continue nibbling on, I was pretty much done. I was quite underwhelmed and disappointed by the whole experience. I did fill up though, almost to the point of getting sick. But I encouraged my wife to continue until her heart's content; so she did with the following carvings: Tequila Lime Chicken: I noticed the disapproving look on her face after just one bite. Honey Glazed Salmon: Nothing special in her book. She passed a small portion across the table for me to sample...okay but I've had better. Lamb Chops: Now this item was just fine in her book! The Flan Anniversary Dessert with candles was appreciated. My first Brazilian Steakhouse experience was an overall disappointment IMO. And the least favorite of the 3 my wife has eaten at. And no, the 18% automatic gratuity was not well earned, and gives no insensitive for the workers(carvers) to step up their efforts. Next time I'll stick to a good old fashioned American Steakhouse. Total for the night: $173.77. read more

I have not been here in a while but we made a reservation and celebrated Father's Day here. On holidays I guess it's pricier but the quality of the food is always great! There's a big amount of sides my favorite is the Brazilian cheese bread. I ate all of the meats which are served table side. My favorite was the top sirloin, the roast which was super tender! and the lamb chops, and the salmon. The red meat was really good especially with the chinchurri? sauce. The cheese plate and shrimp cocktail was pretty great too. This is a great spot for special occasions or if you're just craving delicious steak. I was so so full and satisfied. I haven't been here for about 6 months and am writing based on previous experiences. I'm a meat eater and I really enjoy succulent juicy well prepared meats. This place delivers! I always opt for the all you can eat for about $80(?). It's worth every penny! First you get the salad bar: shrimp, s& other fresh shellfish, prosciutto, coops cola etc., the most amazing cooked mussels and so many other delicacies. Please try the mussels. I've hated them all my life but gave them a try here and wow the top of my head blew off! Next you go back to your table, the wait staff give you a gadget to alert staff you're ready to receive meats. Staff the begin arriving separately at your table to offer you meats on giant skewers barbecued to perfection. You can decline any meats you're not partial to. The choices include beef filet, sirloin wrapped in bacon, sirloin plain, chicken, sausages, and my personal fav lamb rib chops., barbecued pineapple. ALL YOU CAN EAT LAMB RIB CHOPS!!! I was in heaven. Perfectly seasoned moist delicious tender rib lamb chops. Oh did I mention the included floor show. It's really loud music accompanied by scantily clad girls with huge feathered headdress. In todays marketplace you just aren't able to get this quality of all you can eat delicacies at this price. If you decide to try this place make sure you fast for a day prior to going read more

3 stars for great service. Missing two stars because the food was subpar. I came here with my lady and we both had the AYCE. Every meat could have been better. First of all, for a "Brazilian steakhouse" they should be making the best Picanha steaks. If you can't master this.... Then I don't know what to tell you. This should be the best cut! Anyway, I was heavily disappointed because at least everywhere else I've been to, has had good picanha if anything else. The aged ribeye, weak. Not flavorful, chewy, cooked too fast, bland. The filet mignon was probably the best piece of meat they had, other than the lamb chops. The koubideh Kebob was ok, but who goes to a place like this for something like this?! They bring you a bunch of filler foods at the beginning of the meal, you aren't expected to eat any of it, but if you do, you're filling yourself up. If you want to waste money, go ahead and try it, but remember, you read this review and you were warned. It costs marginally more than most other restaurants of the same type too! We tried everything, and nothing was memorable or eventful enough for me to ever come back again. read more
