This is my new all time favorite fresh fruit place. Especially on hot days, this is a must. I just moved here and my wife and I tried this place one time, and now we can't stop craving it. I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu, so far I've had yogurt and granola fresh fruit cup, which had strawberries and bananas with vanilla yogurt and granola, bomb, and then I've tried the 20oz fresh fruit cup which came with watermelon, cucumbers, mango, strawberries, grapes and jicama with fresh squeezed lemon juice and jicama. EXTREMELY overpriced fruit bar. I order a watermelon cup with lemon and takin and it was $8. That is freaking insane. The smoothies and green juices are also way too overpriced. This is THEE place to go to if you are seeking a taste reminding you of Mexico. I have been searching for a place to get authentic style Chamango's and Tostilocos. So far this is the only place I have found in the Santee and El Cajon area. I have tried their ham torta, a generous amount of food for a great price, and today I tried their Chapiña. It was absolutely delicious, the perfect mix of sweet and spicy. Their tostilocos are great too! I really enjoy this place primarily for their cleanliness, highly important to me, their authenticity and their prices are great too! I would definitely recommend anyone to stop on by. read more

Have been going here for months now and have never been disappointed! This place has the nicest people and the fruit is fresh and amazing. Fiancé has had tortas as well and they're delicious. I've had probably 12 different smoothie combos but now stick to either kiwi-strawberry with an apple juice base or mango-pineapple with an orange juice base. The fruit cups can be made with any combo of fruit they have! Shakes are delicious too, the kids love them. Their rewards program is great, we get a discount probably every couple weeks (usually 20-50% off!) because of how often we're here. Lol LOVE this place!! Hope they stick around for a very long time. I think Fidel, the owner, should be there more often. His staff is unorganized an unprofessional. He cant be leaving people like these alone. I bought 4 banana /strawberries smoothies and a pork loin torta for my boyfriend. $34 to go order My order was wrong when i was given 4 banana strawberry cream plates in store. I actually caught the mistake and brought it up. I THINK THIS made them mad. I asked to have it remade. And it was, but i forgot there was a price difference which I remembered when I saw my torta DID NOT have any pork loin in it! :o My boyfriend ate half of the torta as he did not want me to go back. Then i remembered the charge difference so i decided to call in and confirm that there was a difference. So i went back to get my money. As I came in, they said if I was sure I wanted my $9 back. The lady there had already a bad temper, maybe because they were busy and she they easily get stressed. Bewildered as I was, I just said yes and I decided to bring about the torta mistake. Both the manager and the lady were mean dogging me, which of course heated me up. So I just told them I did not want to argue and to give me my torta money back as it did not have any pork loin. I ran across this place yesterday leaving the another business nearby and wowzers! I got the best smoothie I may have ever had. I picked a build your own smoothie with cantaloupe, watermelon and pineapple with soy milk. Frankly I was not sure I chose wisely, but all the fruit was so ripe and fresh it was the best smoothie I ever had! I can't believe this place. You can get such wonderful good for you food here. Where else can you go to get a fruit salad? With the heat still lingering I wanted to get my kids and I something different then a sugary slurpy from 7/11 so I found this place and literally does meet the cravings I was looking for my kids each one got to pick the fruit they wanted and the staff were very helpful. When one of my kids couldn't decide on what they wanted they even were very good at suggesting what types of base would go great for our smoothies and they were on point. My oldest daughter wanted an açaí bowl and they made them fresh right in front of us and tasted amazing not like the other places that pull them out of a freezer from who know when it was made and you can taste the freezer instead of the actual fruit. I also noticed what seemed was the owner and his vibe he had with his employees was very open and he was working while teaching some of his employees while also not forgetting to provide customer service to me and my kids. I have spoken to my coworkers about leavings and almost all of them knew about them and have also given great feed back on not only their fruits and smoothies but their food is never a disappointment the tortas are loaded with flavor and the tosí locos are just as good. Love this place, am here about 4 times a week and all staff and owners pretty much know my order by heart now!! They are super friendly, their food is extremely fresh and of excellent quality, the corn cup is seriously the best I've ever had which has been many, ( it's like magic!), and I love their juices as well. Haven't had any negative experiences here whatsoever which is rare for me. Their pricing is very reasonable, portions are great size, and the place is so immaculate you could eat off of the floor! This is my favorite quick and easy lunch place in Santee! My favorites are: pitaya bowl plus peanut butter and the 1/2 turkey torta! Not only is their food great but the prices are incredible and usually there is very quick service (The last time I visited it was pretty busy with lots of customers). The bread they use for the torta is soft and light with a perfect outside crisp. The pitaya bowls a perfect size and the consistency is excellent! Their wraps and salads are also fantastic. I tried the bagel breakfast sandwich last time, equally tasty! For those who like spice, the torta which comes with jalopenos and chipotle sauce is definitely spicey! When it comes to spicy I am a weeny so it makes my nose run a little. Overall, excellent food, for amazing price and quick service. More of a fast food type sit down, and about 5 tables. My go-to for smoothies! You can basically create your own smoothie, to whatever liking (almond milk, while milk, etc) they also have protein options so you can add that to your smoothies too. Frutiza has very nice staff and food. I love their acai bowls. I cannot be absolutely sure, but I am 90 to 95% sure that I got a stomach bug after eating the fruit salad bowl. I ordered it only once for me and my kids. Though it was delicious, we all got sick. It was the only thing we all ate some of. My husband had none and he was fine.
