I have no experience with Dr. Kramer so I cannot speak about her at all. That being said, I've seen both Dr. Hale and Dr. Sinopoli. Dr. Sinopoli made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She certainly did belittle me. For example, during my first pap I experienced extreme pain and let her know, she snapped that she was nearly done and rolled her eyes. She also argued with me about my birth control and denied prescribing it to me and claimed to have never heard of it before, even though it is a popular generic of the pill that she prescribed me. I so uncomfortable with her that I felt the need to switch doctors. I cannot tell you how happy I am about that decision. Doctor Hale is wonderful. He talks to be about what is going on in my life as well as my medical concerns. He is entirely friendly and makes me feel at ease. Instead of belittling me, he told me I was doing great and helped me get through my discomfort. He related his own health experiences to mine when I explained my nerves to him. I used to dread my annual visit, but Dr. Hale makes it tolerable. I do not recommend Kramer OB/GYN. The secretaries are not particularly friendly and Dr. Sinopoli was repeatedly rude in my experience. Because she was my first ob/gyn and specializes in adolescent gynecology, I'd expect her to maintain a more professional and nurturing demeanor. If you can make an appointment with Dr. Hale, however, don't go anywhere else! He's professional, intelligent, and personable. Otherwise, stay away! read more

The secretary was nice enough, and they managed to get me an appointment right away. However, the medical assistant stayed in the room through the whole pap, which made me really uncomfortable. She wasn't even standing by my head, she was right next to the doctor. Dr. Strehle was very nice, just wish she was by herself! Also, the medical assistant asked my height and weight - even though there was a scale right there! Very unprofessional. The building's also unmarked, so good luck if you've never been there before. The office staff is fantastic, Dr.'s Hale and Sinopoli are wonderful. Dr. Kramer, however, left much to be desired. The few times I saw her during my pregnancy she made me feel rushed and like she had better things to be doing. It was my first baby, so I had a ton of questions - since she has a couple of kids and sees pregnant women all the time, she didn't sense the importance. She delivered my daughter (came in for the last two pushes) and I never saw her again. When I went for my six-week follow-up, with a ton of questions and concerns, she once again brushed me aside, barely remembered any of my information, and rushed me out of the office. She had a blanket answer of "you can do everything you used to do now." And when I asked about birth control, she gave a standard answer, and said she'd call in a prescription for me to CVS, never bothering to find out which one - I have no idea the instructions on taking it, if it's been called in, etc. I even changed my daughter's diaper in the exam room and she was quick to insist I not leave the diaper there since she'd be "smelling it all day." You deliver babies!!!!!! She couldn't answer any of my questions on breastfeeding or the baby's patterns. To top it off, the physical exam (I had stitches) was roughly 2 seconds and she said "Yeah you're fine." I would highly recommend Dr.s Hale and Sinopoli, but if you can avoid Dr. Kramer, do so at all costs! read more

Dr Kramer was really pushy and barely listened to anything I said. She was quick to talk over me and assumed she knew what my question was before I asked it. When I started to ask her about changing my birth control to a different type she didn't even ask me why I wanted to change/what wasn't working, she just immediately told me that the pill was the only option for someone my age and that if I switched to an IUD I would probably get an infection and become sterile. I mean, she went straight to telling me I was going to become sterile without even asking why I didn't like the pill...it was nuts! I could hardly get a word in between all her personal anecdotes and breathless answers to questions I didn't have. read more

I would give this practice a negative 10 stars if it weren't for the fact Dr. Hale is fantastic... he was kind and listened to me. But the bad rating goes straight to the owner herself, Dr. Kramer! She was terrible! Rude, pushy, and inconsiderate are just a few of her characteristics. She makes you feel dumb, rolls her eyes at you, rushes the visit, assumes things and doesn't like when you ask questions. I left the office feeling uncomfortable, stressed and crying! I was just going to make sure I never saw her again and made all my appointments with Dr. Hale but in reality, he obviously couldn't promise to deliver my baby if he wasn't on call, so I could be stuck with Dr. Kramer. I ended up switching practices... so far so good. I get the feeling they have women coming to them with the same issues. It's quite sad and embarrassing if you ask me. Why on earth you would become a doctor and treat patients that way baffles me! Especially hormonal patients growing a human being inside them! Get a clue, lady! read more

Dr. Hale is a wonderful and caring doctor. He is the star here. If you can see him all the time you are in good hands! I only have experience with Hale and Kramer as I saw them several years ago. However, capable Dr. Kramer is, is over shadowed by her brash, uncaring, and rude approach to healthcare. I would interview her and give careful consideration to taking her on as your doctor. When I say that she made the delivery of my child a most negative experience, I am trying to be polite. Having given birth to two other children, I know that this is not at all how childbirth or any medical care really, should be. I wanted to report her to the hospital after the birth, but was kind of busy. Years later reading these reviews has encourage me to post my less than desirable experience here, as according to others, she has not learned or changed. read more

Hard to give one rating when there are 3 doctors that I have worked with. I give Sinopoli 5 stars- very comfortable with her, she always listens and did an incredible job delivering my first child! I give Hale 4 stars, he is nice but for some reason I'm not as comfortable with him (not because he's male, I've had plenty of male gynos in the past and doesn't matter to me), he just seems a bit less knowlegeable, didn't diagnose something right for me but it was a minor thing. Kramer gets the least of my liking, she delivered my second child and made me feel rushed, and seemed annoyed with my very long labor (like I could help it, I sure wanted to be dialated enough, too! ) I love Nancy, the office person at the Acton location, which is much less busy and no wait time compared to the Concord location- do the Acton location if you can! read more

I delivered my first baby with Dr. Kramer, and would not recommend any woman to choose her as your OB. I found her manner to be rude, rushed, and bothered. My baby was born at 4:00 in the morning on christmas day, and she was all bent out of shape after I had her, and said, "well, it's christmas morning, and I'm going home, and will not be back till tomorrow" really??? the labor experience with her was HORRIBLE, i had to push back on everything because all she wanted to do was speed everything up, and I wanted a natural birth. just bad. obviously chose not to deliver my other babies with her. some compassion and gentleness goes a long way, i hope she can cultivate that. read more

I went to Dr. Sinopoli for a menopause-related question and I couldn't be happier with her. She is kind, very aware of pain levels, and very informative; because I couldn't tolerate having an endometrial biopsy done in the office, she readily suggested doing it in the operating room. She answered my questions and was a pleasure to have as a doctor. I have a high level of confidence in her medical ability and I would recommend her to anyone. read more

Thanks for the other women who wrote their reviews as I experienced many of the same things that others complained about and it was very validating to read their comments. I've never met Dr. Kramer, I only saw Dr. Sinopoli. However, I did manage to view the newspaper clipping of Dr. Kramer taped all over their receptionist window for the patients to read about her weight loss. Good for her and nice, I suppose, that she shared her personal story ( maybe triumph/success ) with those in the world who were interested in reading it. But, it did strike me as odd that as a doctor in this practice she was posting this for all her patients to read. I wondered about the separation between personal and professional roles and what "message" she was trying to convey to the readers in her office, many who would be her patients too. Was it a message of "You can do it too", "I've struggled with my weight", "I'm human too", or "If I can do it so can you", or "Just more about me!" Regardless of what she was trying to say, I wonder what others took from the message. As for Dr. Sinopoli....the first time I met her I had to wait over a half hour -- in the exam room, AFTER waiting for some time in the waiting room. Second time was a little better, but I arrived in the office BEFORE she did. She was essentially LATE for work -- strolling in with her pocketbook over her should AFTER the time of my scheduled appt. Other times, always a bit of a wait, 15-20 minutes after scheduled time. While waiting, you can literally hear the sound of the ultrasound machine swishing and the reactions/comments/questions of expectant moms and dads while you wait. Who built the walls in the office? In addition, Dr. Sinopoli mentioned personal/clinical details about MY situation to the receptionist/office manager about what I needed for next steps in terms of an appointment within ear shot of the entire waiting room! I was mortified! I believe we have FEDERAL laws about patient confidentiality -- which are NOT being upheld by this office! I think a government agency should step in here and take some action. Aside from that, once you are in the examining room, you have plenty of time to view their mother-centric decor, such as pictures of women breast-feeding children, little booties, and I was left to wonder about the significance of the oven mitts used as stirrup warmers on the examination table ( what?! ). Made me feel like a woman who was not exactly in their preferred demographic, as someone who was not a mother but having other gyn issues. They seemed to focus primarily on the OB side of the business...with assumptions that everyone pregnant only has happy outcomes too. I wonder how that office feels to those who are dealing with ovarian cancer, infertility, miscarriage, etc. Like many others, I felt rushed and my comments and concerns were minimized. At the time, I was dealing with issues of excessive bleeding and trying to express my concerns given my current work situation required me to be in a very public setting, standing on my feet for hours, with minimal opportunities to use the bathroom. I was not looking for her to talk about my career, offer sympathies or kudos, but laying out my realities and why I needed a solution that fit my current situation. Instead, I got a pat answer of "we all have stressful jobs". Really? I'm sure most of their patients work really hard, either as full-time Moms, office managers, nurses, flight attendants, lawyers, etc. However, the conditions of everyone's work situation are NOT exactly the same. And, some have more easy access to a bathroom and less people around whom to have an "accident" in front of and be mortified at work too. Then, when the first round of medicine she prescribed helped but didn't completely work...she just had another dose prescribed...which I later learned is not normal practice...and yielded other negative side effects. Thanks! Finally, she offered a solution that stopped my periods all together and when I felt like a Thanksgiving Day balloon in the process, my expressions of concerns were basically just brushed off -- like that can happen. Like "just live with it cause I'm not doing anything about it." She doesn't seem to care about people or anything about the content of their lives or feelings. I recently heard they may no longer be in business. Perhaps they should consider working in a lab with another species like rats that won't understand what they are saying to or about them. Though, I suspect even the rats will pick up on their negative and rushed vibes. On another website, I noticed that Michele is a young 36 years old. I suspect, like many docs, she has spent her entire life in either medical school or practicing medicine and doesn't have much sense or appreciation for other life styles or work contexts and is apparently missing significant college credits in the humanities or community service. I have seen Dr. Hale a handful of times and he's a sweetheart. Drs. Kramer and Sinopoli both have abrasive personalities and a sardonic sense of humor. In the Acton office, I have overheard them talk about patients (giving full names and details of their medical conditions) because either Dr. Sinopoli or Dr. Kramer will be discussing the patient with the receptionist and their office and the front desk are on opposite ends of the building. Yes...they actually yell across rooms to each other. I find that Drs. Kramer and Sinopoli are very, very biased against overweight people and will make very unkind remarks. Dr. Kramer has actually told me while I was pregnant, "Hey, it wouldn't kill you to skip a meal." Dr. Sinopoli would just give me this look every time I weighed in during my second pregnancy as if she was disgusted with me. Why did I keep going there? Well, because it was a convenient location from my home and because Dr. Kramer delivered my first baby and I liked the idea of continuity. I admit, they are both very silly reasons to put up with their bedsire manner. By the way, I only gained 25 pounds during both of my pregnancies but because I was overweight, they actually suggested that I only gain 15. Dr. Sinopoli actually told me that I shouldn't gain any weight -- that my goal during the pregnancy was to maintain my current weight of 200 lbs. I can see why Dr. Sinopoli would have no clue in how to deal with plus-size women in a more sensitive manner (she is thin as a rail) but Dr. Kramer is a large woman herself who used to be 100+ lbs. heavier than she currently is. Kudos to her for losing the weight but she definitely needs to ease up on the hurtful remarks. The doctors don't really spend much time with you. The support staff is very nice -- at least in the Acton office -- not sure about the Concord office. read more

I was referred to Dr. Sinopoli by my primary care doc due to a large fibroid. Not knowing anything about Dr. S, I was nervous, but glad she was part of Kramer OB/GYN which I had heard good things about. I adore Dr. Sinpoli. She is straight-forward and no-nonsense. She discussed my situation and let me think about it for a week, then together we decided to do something slightly different. I ended up having surgery 3 months earlier than I thought I would, and I couldn't be happier. She did a fantastic job with the surgery and took wonderful care of me after. She saw me three times in my 36 hours in the hospital, which I thought was just right. My follow up so far has been easy and efficient. I really like her style, but she might not be the best for someone who needs a ton of hand holding. I did find her to be a good listener (we changed the plan after she heard my input) and she was very comforting when I told her why I was nervous about surgery. I do think she appreciated my "let's get this done" attitude. I had a hysterectomy and it was the best thing I ever did and I would totally recommend her.
