And yay for it being so accessible (bus 71 or 73 stop right there and run frequently). I did have to wait a while in the exam room, but once the doctor came in, I knew it was worth it. Dr. McGaraghan gave a gentle exam that was as comfortable as it could be. She solicited my questions and thoroughly answered them. She was friendly, nonjudgmental, and appears to be a down to earth person.

She is all about treating the whole woman. She is humble, modest, and extraordinary. Her staff obviously adores her, and she treats them very well as well. I have a vaginal hysterectomy, minimally invasive, and was feeling better within three days. I can't state strongly enough that if you have any need for such surgery, she is the one to go to. She's also super funny, warm, kind, and completely puts you at ease. I am a scientist so read her pathology report afterwards, which she kindly provided. She is thorough, careful, conservative, and methodical about her surgery and pathology afterwards. You could not ever do better that Dr. Gomez-Carrion, and I sing her praises wide and far. She saw me quickly, and sat me in her office going over my history, before launching into the examine. She made me feel very comfortable and was very personable. While waiting in her waiting room, I was surrounded by all these pregnant mothers, and they all seemed very happy and confident with her treatment, so that made me feel better, as well. BTW, she is taking new clients again! I will be recommending her to every woman I know, who needs a new GYN. I hope she someday becomes aware of her fan following at Yelp!

I was previously going to an OB in Brookline through B&W and I will have to say I prefer NW OBG/YN over B&W. NW OB/GYN's office is so much more inviting and relaxed and the staff here is really awesome. The wait can be long sometimes due to all of a sudden births but the staff keeps you updated and lets you know right away if there is a problem. Dr. Davis is a great doctor as well, when I first met her we went over my pregnancy, any questions I had and gave me great advice to my situation that I had. Appointments here are easy to get and the service is just great, even the nurses and the medical assistant's are wonderful as well. My previous office was so cold and uninviting that I am glad I changed and will stay at NW OB/GYN as long as I can!

Dr. Repassy ALWAYS takes the time to listen to me so she gets the whole story. This has led to a definitive diagnosis for me, and since getting on the right meds, I feel great! Despite being prescribed the medication, I must point out that Dr. Repassy is not huge on medications. The medication she gave me is a prescription, but it's an all-natural, porcine-based pill, not lab-derived chemicals, so that's all pretty cool. Dr. Repassy loves doing weight counseling, and she's even gotten me more active. She has great ideas for fun ways to lose weight and she really understands how the body works. Lastly, her entire staff is amazing. For the first time in my life, I don't dread going to the doctor's office.

But, what's really incredibly, is that both she and her RN, who sees patients after-hours, follow up with patients' urgent concerns. I've received evening and next day calls to see how I was doing, and even calls a week later, to see how my appointment with a specialist went. And totally unrelatedly, it's not unusual to find Dr. N in Gucci, Chanel, and perfect manicure, which makes me feel a little underdressed in my paper gown, but I like a woman who brings her A game.
