So hear me out... I have driven past this restaurant many times, and have no stopped. My good girlfriend and I went here on a Wednesday evening and ate good! Four drinks between us both, jerk chicken quesadillas, a seafood pasta anddd a seafood fried rice bundle, and we were rolling backkkk to the car. Our server Kay, gave the best recommendations - and we were very vocal in telling her that we agreed with her good eats! (I'll specifically say, their pasta is better the following day lol.) I also want to highlight the fact that this location is bigger than what I expected. From the outside looking in, I wouldn't have thought that the restaurant was as long as it was until entering. Additionally, the establishment is indeed a vibe. Their bathrooms are clean as well, with music blasting (at a good volume, let me be clear) from the front to the back of the room. The only issue that I have with Krab King, is their TWENTY percent gratuity charge. I think 1,000% that that is something that the establishment should advertise on their table, at the bar, on their website, etc. I'm aware and comfortable with 15, even 18% charge when the service is sufficient - but 20... a conversation needs to be had. Makes me wonder if the gratuity if only added for dine-in orders, but if so... if I return, I'd only place my order to go.

King Krab has been on my list for a while now, so my friend and I decided to come here to catch up and see what it's all about. It is pretty small here, but the decor is really nice. It is extremely dim so keep that in mind especially I I f you can't see and need your flashlight lol. We went during the day on a Saturday so it was very quiet in the restaurant. We were seated and served immediately. I ordered the hot honey old bay wings and the seafood burger and of course fries. Keep in mind that there's an up charge for the fries that was communicated, I thought I was substituting one out. The seafood burger was so big, I didn't even finish it. The wings were fried very well and I really enjoyed them! I believe my friend ordered the crab cakes and a sandwich. I heard they have a great happy hour here as well, so one day I plan to check that out. That day was pretty lowkey so I can't say it was vibesy, but it was nice to be able to catch up and not scream at each other. We both enjoyed our meal and I would definitely return!

My husband and I came here on the early side of dinner. We had to sit at the bar as the tables were all reserved even though most were empty upon our arrival. As an appetizer we ordered the Krab fries which were delicious! My husband ordered the seafood Alfredo. I ordered the crab cakes dinner which came with asparagus and Mac and Cheese. The food was good but definitely had better crab cakes. We had decent service since they were on the slower side and sat at the bar.

So the food is amazing! And the patrons are VERY entertaining! If you're looking for a good seafood fix, Krab King is your place!

Krab King definitely wasn't what I expected, but in a good way! First off, the vibe is grown & sexy. It's a small space, with all black decor and dim lighting. It wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately. I had already glanced the menu online but decided to order the King Rolls, Krab Fries, and the King Wings. Everything was good. The King Rolls were a bit too cheesy for me, but a good portion size. The wings were too pretty to eat but equally delicious (get them with bleu cheese)! The crab fries were filling , definitely shareable, but they could use more crab. The sauce they use is tasty. They really held up nicely because they're the crispy kind, so that's a plus in my opinion. My drinks were great, Kay made them perfectly- refreshing and not too sweet! I'll be back for sure.

Always forget to check in when I'm here! But here is the skinny! You gotta support our local people who grow roots here! Happy Hour menu is perfection, let me clarify, if you like a Sauvignon blanc or other wines, it's perfection. To be fair it's limited on food and drinks but it gets the job done for me. Y'all top shelf people may not like this HH menu. Drinks are always yummy and the music is always a whole vibe! Off 301!

I stumbled on Krab King on ig. Today, I ventured in to try their brunch . Baybeeee, another gem in Prince George's County. Drinks: Pineapple Mimosas Rum Punch My food: Breakfast fried potatoes Scrambled eggs Crab legs Crab cakes Bacon Seafood and grits (whiting stuffed with crab meat) It's not a huge place but the food is delicious! Service from the bartender and server l was great and everything came out to my liking. Even one of the owners came out to check out on us . Music appeared to be streaming and was a r and b vibe . Its located in a plaza with Giant and the parking is plentiful. I'll be back! Check them out: https://www.krabking.com

This is a nice place for me to come that's close to home for a good meal & nightcap. The food was pretty good and the drinks are pretty strong. The server/bartender was very polite and accommodating. I stopped in on a Saturday night and surprisingly it was super chill with only a few other customers dining which was good for us because it's a tight spot with minimal tables for tons of customers. I asked about how they handled crowds and was told that for brunch when they get busy there is unfortunately a long wait, so come early!

7 wings in the order.

Stopped here today around 730-8pm looking for eats, the inside is small and full (including the bar area) so making a reservation is your best bet. I wouldn't have found this place just driving by because it's listed in a shopping center that I've only known to house a giant. The wait was 30mins so we opted to carry out instead. My friend had been here before and raved about their jerk crab and shrimp quesadillas so we got an order of that and an order or sweet chili wings. The quesadillas were solid, the jerk flavor added a great kick and it was served with some kind of aioli. It was more shrimp than crab but the taste was good so it was easy to ignore. The sweet chilli wings had a great taste as well, probably better in house because they sweated pretty bad inside of the carryout box and lost their bite. I'd try this place again with a reservation or for carry out.

The food, service , and ambiance were wonderful. My friend and I also had the spinach dip, which was so good! They have plenty of food options, but not so many that would overwhelm you. Whenever I order crab cakes I get disappointed, but Krab King makes them so good. They actually use real crab and a lot of it too! They come with a side of sauce but you definitely don't need it with how well the food is seasoned. You get a lot of food for your money. Highly recommend.

Seafood Grits (If you see the Colossal Crab Meat, let me know). I got the Whiting on the side.

Dropped my daughter off at practice and decided to venture here since my wife and I had time to kill. We arrived around 1:30 on a Sunday. We arrived and I thought they were closed. There are tinted windows the glass and not the best signage. We walked in and there were no guests. We were immediately greeted by the staff as well as an awful stench. We were informed that there was a water leak from the giant which is in the parking lot. Hopefully they have it fixed by now or decided to use some air freshener as it was extremely unpleasant. There is a bar in the front area and approximately 6 tables on the side that I was able to see. Our waitress was nice. She gave us her suggestions and even laughed at my jokes. The food came fairly fast but once again, there wasn't anyone else inside. I ordered the Seafood Grits which comes with cheesy grits, "Colossal Crab Meat and Fried Whiting". If you see the Colossal Crab meat in the grits let me know. The whiting was a little tough. They do not offer tartar sauce but a nice version of King Crab sauce which I liked. I also ordered a side of potatoes which were good. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was decent. Lacked flavor and seasoning but the presentation was on point. The wife was tiny/more on the thin side. A quick $65 bucks plus tip for average food. I wish my experience was better but it wasn't. Can't say I'll be back. I do wish them well though.

This was good!! So after a few phone calls to verify that their online system was finally accepting orders, I placed a very large order for pickup- 4- 5oz crab cake dinners, 2 blackened salmon, 2 starter samplers: 12 wings and 6 fried colossal shrimp, and 2 orders of seafood mac and cheese. And whoo, this was a bit expensive, but the food was quality. Everything was very tasty and was a decent portion size. However, I wouldn't recommend for large family orders unless they'll offer a catering menu option. Overall, I highly recommend trying out Krab King. They're located in a shopping center with plenty of free parking. And the staff (on the phone and in person) was so professional and amiable.

There are surprising number of chicken options here for a place called, "This Is Seafood", but not quite as many seafood options as I hoped. I was really looking forward to getting an order of fried scallops for lunch and I was a little disappointed they didn't have them on the menu. I decided to get the Combo #4: 3 whole wings, 6 fried shrimp, and my choice of 1 piece of fish and side dish. For my fish, I chose fried catfish and for my side I chose hush puppies. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I'll be back for that catfish.

However, from the start, the service felt disorganized. There was confusion at the front with seating, and guests were being moved around while staff seemed to be sorting out table assignments in real time, which came off a bit unprofessional. After being seated, we waited about 10-12 minutes before being acknowledged by our server. During that time, service already felt slow across the board, as even nearby tables were experiencing delays. When our server (a lighter-skinned woman with twists pulled back into a ponytail) came over, we were told several menu items were unavailable after we had already attempted to order them, including drinks and fresh fruit that were still listed on the menu. As someone who has worked as a server before, I feel communication like this should be handled before service even begins. Items that are 86'd should be communicated during pre-shift meetings and clearly shared with guests upon greeting the table so they can make informed choices upfront. It helps avoid frustration and gives guests alternatives before ordering. Our food also came out not hot at all--it honestly felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and was not up to standard. Overall service remained inconsistent, with limited check-ins and needing to flag staff multiple times. While the bus staff was friendly and helpful, the overall experience fell short in organization, communication, and quality, especially for a first visit.

We ordered a dozen crabs, a pound of jumbo shrimp, a bowl of cream of crab soup, an order of hush puppies and an order of fried pickles. The soup had plenty of lumps of crab meat and a nice flavor, and the portion was ample. The crabs were described as jumbo but were closer to large. At $115 for the crabs, a dozen was enough. (Side note: when the market price is that high you really should disclose it on a specials sheet or chalkboard or something. The first mention of it was on the final bill.) The crabs were steamed well and did not taste muddy at all. The shrimp likewise was perfectly cooked. The pickles and puppies were delicious. Total bill before tip came to $200. On the high side versus expectations but not alarming. Service was worse than spotty. At times it was clear that the server had tables in multiple areas of the restaurant and needed roller skates to keep up. And there were times that she was sitting talking to other employees or with her regulars. Several things we had to ask for multiple times (melted butter for crab, drink refills, a few crackers) some of which we finally gave up on ever getting and went to the bar to request. Things like silverware had to be requested. Getting the bill took longer than necessary. All in all, service was 2 to 3 stars. Setting: Worn chairs and tables. Many televisions, all set to Maryland Lottery channels for fake horse races and keno that ran nonstop. Large lottery machine near the bar that did a steady business. This was distracting and not conducive to pleasant dining. Overall the food made the trip worth it. Will go back but not for the atmosphere or the service.

Had I not looked at the customer copy of the bill I would have not only not known but I would have tipped based on the total which already included the additional gratuity charge (which was not disclosed on the merchant copy). This is so unnecessary and ruined what would have been a good experience. They said it was a "sharing charge" which I have experienced and applies when u have another diner with you and u decide to split an entree. Update to above: I did follow up with Angie this morning and she was very kind and offered to credit back my card for the extra gratuity.
