    Japanese miso broth hot pot.

The food overall tasted good but the meat cuts were not that great. A lot of the table and dishes looked like they didn't wipe it down or wash well. Overall selection of meat and vegetables was okay, but I have seen more selection at other places. Ordered enoki mushrooms and did not receive it. Ordered calamari and did not receive it. We ordered it twice and waited a pretty long time for nothing. We had to flag someone down to bring it to their attention to get us one order of it. Our grill was always getting too hot from waiting on what we ordered and made a lot of splattering because of it. We were already wanting to leave and pay, but our server went on break. It took a lot longer than we would have liked to pay and end our meal. Ambiance was okay, used to it being on the loud side because of Kbbq.

She was awesome and hooked me up with all three, which turned out to be the perfect move. The sandwich was massive--easily a third of a pound of meat. I went for the fatty cut, and it didn't disappoint; you could see a legit smoke ring on the meat and the deep, smoky flavor stood up on its own even before adding a drop of sauce. It was a solid experience from start to finish. I'm definitely swinging back through when I need a quick, heavy fix. Once you walk in, you walk up to a counter place your order and they will call out your name on the order is ready for pick up. There is also a fully self service station for sauces as well as Takeaway boxes if you need them. The menu offers a lot of different combinations and samplers and meats from pork to chicken. The sides are also a little bit unique in the sense that the vegetable sides also have added bacon, which is great to see. I personally love to see hush puppies, which is a very antiquated and rare to find option for food. And they did not disappoint. Overall, I would say from the sampler of the ribs and the chicken were fantastic as well as the pulled pork. The brisket was OK, but did not necessarily stand out. We did try four different barbecue sauces, which were all fantastic. The hush puppies as I stated earlier were absolutely delicious and I would come back just for these. We also got the corn pudding, which was a little bit on the sweeter side, but made and baked fresh just like everything else here. And this was a great alternative to cornbread. To top it all off, the staff here was so super nice, especially the young man at the counter when you first walked in as he also offered up a sample of the corn pudding because I've never heard of corn pudding nor did I ever tried it and this was also my first visit. I would definitely come back here again, and/or visit any of their other locations closer to Indy.

When we first entered I thought it was small until we were seated in another dining room. There are long tables for seating. There is a bar as well. We started with the Crispy Pork Belly Bites which were sooo good. Then we all ordered a different dish and they came with different sides. It was all delicious and my son was happily satisfied! Good size portions. All our BBQ meat had good flavor. Service was friendly and efficient. I like that the bottom of the menu there are symbols to indicate what menu items are gluten free, vegetarian or vegan. Very casual atmosphere. Recommend trying it!

The ribs at Revolution are smoked with a delicious rub. Great flavor. They don't fall off the bone. I'm not sure if that's because they're smoked or what. But they're good. The brisket is amazing. This is a must try. They have some kind of pepper blend rub that will knock your socks off. It's so juicy and delicious. The seasoned tots are really good and crunchy. The baked beans are fabulous. The mac n cheese is terrible. No flavor. Has some kind of Cheeto dust on top. Don't get that. They have sweet tea too. That's so hard to find now that we left the South. The nachos are excellent. We always get a half pan. Tonight the avocado was not quite ripe enough yet. It was pretty firm. Regardless, those nachos with pulled pork were delicious. Service was great on a busy Friday night. Our server was Holly and she did a great job. They also have homemade pies and other desserts. I have yet to get any because I'm too full after dinner. I think I heard a server say they were out of several desserts. The Purdue students came back this week so I'm sure this place has been hopping. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this place. You can't go wrong here.

But then mine eyes doth glanceth upon the words "Brisket Birria Sandwich" on the menu, and I had to pivot. I'm so glad that I went with my heart. The Brisket Birria Sandwich at Ripple & Company consists of smoked brisket, white cheddar, red onions and cilantro, all melted and pressed between a roll, and served with birria consomme. You dip the sandwich in the consomme and eat, kind of like a French dip. Dip and eat, dip and eat, until you can't dip and eat anymore, either because it's all gone or because your stomach is about to burst. It's a big sandwich, and it is also served with incredibly delicious fries, which doesn't help with the stomach bursting thing. This whole meal is amazing and I would visit Ripple & Company just to eat this exact thing again. I visited with people who ate at Ripple & Company quite frequently, and they got their favorites: The Black & Gold Pub Burger, and the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. Everyone enjoyed everything. As a nice surprise, one of my dining mates ordered the Smokehouse Nachos for us to share, as if we didn't have enough food. But there's a different chamber in my stomach for chips and nachos, and luckily, that chamber was empty, so it worked out just fine. The nachos are great, with tender pieces of shredded pork, pickled jalapenos, a vegetable mix, green onions and chipotle ranch drizzled on top. The service here is great: We were seated right away, ordered right way, and our food came out within a good amount of time. The decor is car and transportation themed, with traffic signs and hubcaps hung up on the walls. Very fun.

Shrimp was a good size, but lacking something in the flavor department. The fries were good though. My friend complained about her burger being good, but excessively greasy. Sure enough, I saw a pool of grease on her plate that was dripping out of her burger. I wish I had taken a picture

Not a large selection of items, I tried one piece of the beef and pork which were tough they had run out of chicken and I didn't want to wait so just ok. They got an extra star because of amazing customer service. The hostess was extremely helpful and when informed of my husband's food allergy bent over backwards to ensure his safety. They will even take items from storage that haven't been exposed to possible cross-contamination on the ingredients bar and fill your special order bowl. It doesn't stop there when my husband went to have his bowl cooked the cook asked him if he had cleaned the grill well enough for hubby to feel safe! Two well-known and strangely well-regarded chain restaurants have poisoned my husband. Luckily on the first taste, he could feel something wasn't right so no ER visit was required. I now taste everything before he eats.
