I would highly recommend KPH Mechanical, KPH was recommended by our local Daikin Rep. I've had KPH come out and install 2 Daikin adapters that work with nest, and I've had them come out to do the yearly maintenance inspection. I've had the pleasure of meeting Kevin the owner, he's came out to the house to do the inspection and also to give me a quote to make some modifications to our AC system. If you're considering changing your AC I would highly recommend you look at a Daikin VRV unit, heat pumps are the way to go now since they are really efficient and really quiet. From experience I can tell you that the unit is super quiet, when it's running at 100% it's noise level is less than 60db. I can hear my neighbor's old AC units cranking away before I hear anything from the heat pump. It's also super efficient the fans don't always run at 100% since they have variable speed, this will also save you electricity over time. One last thing. Always get multiple quotes during your research for a new system, go on YouTube and learn more about the different between an AC unit and a heat pump. The biggest issue people have is not knowing what to ask and how things work. This will cost you money in the long run. read more

We decided to suffer a bit longer because we've made some recent home improvements and just felt like we had overspent a bit so we've put installing A/C on hold. I contacted KPH and several other companies. I decided to go with Kevin because he is a true honest professional. He assessed our needs and recommended a new condenser, new furnace and (because we had issues with cooling rooms equally) he also recommended completely re-ducting the system in our attic. I have to tell you, I have never been so impressed with a owner, contractor, technician has Kevin. He is the most knowledgeable HVAC guy I have met, he is honest, and he just save me a couple hundred dollars! Never be afraid to get a second opinion even if it cost you a little bit of money. I now have air-conditioning instead of having to wait three more days for a quote to do something totally different and much more expensive, with a different company. Do your self a favor and choose this company if you have an AC problem. There are very few old school companies that are left! I had a brand new system put in in 2014 and it was a botched job that I was gouged with by a local company in Murrieta which basically created the failure.Kevin and Sam came in and even though they are busy bent over backwards ,changed their schedules around and got us up and running! During a bathroom remodel, we discovered that the build in tub surround was used to hide some ducting. Kevin came out, took some measurements and built a manifold to tuck the ducting back into the wall. He had excellent communication and explained every step. Kevin (owner of KPH) answered my request via Yelp in a very timely manner. He provided some troubleshoot suggestions both via email, text, and phone conversations. Kevin made a point to come to the house the next morning and after testing the unit, it was determined a new mother board was the best way to go to keep the furnace going for the next few years. What can I say, it looked to be a really hot, miserable and expensive weekend. Then KPH showed up. They arrived and quickly took a look at my AC.
