Dandy took care of my family and I when our unit malfunctioned. They worked with me to get out ASAP so my baby wouldn't have to deal with the heat inside for too long. I appreciate what they did for us, and recommend them for your HVAC needs in the valley. read more

I was looking to replace my thermostats and did not trust myself in "doing it yourself". After looking around I went with Andrew because his price was fair and he was honest. A lot of companies nowadays want to schedule a visit before giving a price. I received other quotes too and their price was a lot more and some said I had to go with their thermostat I had old Honeywell thermostats that came with the house. It was old so I wanted new ones that I'm able to control the temperature or turn it off when I'm not around. Andrew helped to install 2 for my upstairs and downstairs read more

Definitely recommend to everyone! Andrew was quick to respond, kind and informative. He has over 20 years of experience and it shows. Gave us a quote before coming so we knew what to expect which was so helpful. He came in and helped us with a leak in our AC with no problems and worked effectively and efficiently to get the work done. We have a baby in the home and he was also very considerate when working. Can't go wrong with this company! Got nothing but great things to say. Thank you Andrew for saving the day! read more

My AC system went down last weekend and I spent the whole week getting quotes and researching companies. Most of them were around the same price (except 1 that was outrageous). Andrew (owner) came out on Friday morning and was very informative, friendly, and honest with me. His price was great and he was even able to get me in on the same day! I also liked that I could support another veteran since it's a veteran owned company. Miguel and Freddy came out that afternoon and did a fantastic job. They answered all my questions and were very friendly. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Our air conditioner went out last year at the end of summer after serving for forty years. I had received a quote from another company for a complete replacement that just seemed like we would never be able to afford a new unit. I received a post card from Dandy offering their services and I decided to give them a call. They were honest with me telling me the problem with the very old AC and gave me quote for a new unit that was hard to pass up on. They let me know that they could do the whole process within a day and that they offered 0% financing. Their service was fast, a great price, and very professional. I highly recommend Dandy Air and Plumbing. They made it possible for me and my family to enjoy our summer days spent together. read more

I am so hyped that we chose Dandy Heating and Air for our new Air Conditioning system. Andrew is absolutely amazing. Our AC system went out and he came out the very next day to diagnose the problem. Within the hour we were able to get everything situated and within 2 days we had a brand new system. Andrew's guys were fast, efficient and careful when putting in the new system. They even installed and setup our new Google Nest Thermostat which we were stoked about. The old unit was taken away and we didn't have to worry about anything. I would recommend Dandy Heating and Air to everyone I know. Thanks for everything! read more

Scam alert This guy came in to check my roof ac. And the only option he gave me was to buy through him via loan a new AC of at least 8k... My dad had to look into the issue, changed both fuses and the ac worked. 20dlls vs 8+K... what a nasty trick, beware of his solutions if you hire him, ask for second opinions. read more

This is a great company. Andrew, the owner, showed up at the scheduled time and went right to work. Our air-conditioning was not cooling all the way. We thought we needed servicing. He ran his checks and explained to me the whole process in terms I coukd understand. After checking inside and out, he determined that there was really nothing wrong other than our unit is getting old. But it still has a ways to go before upgrading. After educating me on what to do, he went to leave, no charge. AMAZING!!! Anyone else would have charged for what he did. He will definitely be our goto with any future needed repairs or upgrades. Bonus: Hes a bass player.... Totally Recommended... read more

This truck belongs to dandy Heating & Air, they talk good but my advice stay away from them, I had them wanting to come out & tune up my A/C, after setting an appointment they call in the morning postponed they had an emergency. FInally week later, yesterday they call to set up an appointment but now my air conditioner went out totally. the lady tells me they come out for free estimate!!! Their technician just left because he said that he will check it out but he wants $50 bunch of ripoffs sorry about the $50 it's about saying one thing to get out here and wanting money I can only imagine what they will charge you if I need something at all read more

Dandy for the win! Replaced our 19 year HVAC system that sounded like an old clunker and was not to code. Andrew from Dandy came out a couple days after I called him for an estimate. His awesome crew installed it all with additional new duct work, HEPA filtration and an attic fan. Air is cleaner and worker cooler than ever. Special thanks to G, Miguel and Albert, for the professionalism and help. Hottest days I've seen living in San Diego for over 40 years and they handled it no sweat. I needed a whole new new A/C & hvac unit with a few upgrades/ modifications (thermostat relocation, air duct, float switch, drip pan, ac drain route, and refrigerant to name a few - may be missing parts forgotten about). But this company really came through for me! I truly appreciate them. They were friendly & polite, house-mannered & mindful of the home & people, and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and effectively from outside (condenser & electronical box) to inside (attic/ furnace & thermostat). And has been responsive from the beginning, and even after. Its been about six months & I love my new hvac system & updated thermostat & the work they did! (No issues). I cannot recommend this company enough! Fast response at the beginning of a heat wave. Tried to fix my old system but were honest that it wouldn't do any good and it was time for a new unit. Got the new unit, crane, and manpower coordinated for a few days later. Dandy Heating and Air - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Our AC downstairs broke down unexpectedly during the triple digit heat and we have a 10 months baby at home, it was true urgency! Dandy Heat and Air was very quick to respond to my Yelp request, explained their pricing (very straight forward, no hidden fee) and told me they could be here on the same day! The technician G was punctual (actually came 15 minutes early) and super friendly. He diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and replaced the capacitor and our AC was good to go! G also checked our other equipment for upstairs to make sure it will continue to work and informed me that this one can only last for a little longer as it has never been replaced since the 2005, the year this house was built. Charged me $500 for both capacitors and waived the $69 diagnostic fee. The price is a discounted one since 1 capacitor is priced at $325. He measured temperatures from the vents to verify there is adequate amount of Freon so I don't have to worry about any future issues coming up. In addition, he gave very helpful advice on how to best maintain AC and the types of filters to buy. I am very impressed by this company's service and will definitely recommend them to friends and family and for any future AC problems I might encounter!! read more

We had an issue with our nest, suddenly said no power... after troubleshooting ourselves and buying a different thermostat, it wouldn't turn on- we knew we had to call someone. I got a quick reply from Dandy and they were available same day. Our ac was off all night and day and it was HOT! G came out around 5pm and confirmed there was no power to our thermostat and it was the fuse. He was friendly, quick, professional and very informative, keeping us posted every step of the way. I would hire them again- thank you for your help and getting our a/c fixed! read more
