East County girl here so when I say ya can't sleep without AC it means high 80's all night. Confession female age bias (aka in the "hot flashes" range). So excited to lower upstairs night temps for optimal sleep with my new 18 seer X Series AC unit!!! So quiet and love the small footprint compared to leaking Airtemp unit. Proud to have low HFC refrigerant extending ozone for future generations. Vortech super responsive, transparent, knowledgeable, trustworthy & reliable. Will recommend to neighbors, friends & family. Very satisfied customer. read more

Jonny from Vortech gave me an estimate. He listened and was very professional and polite. His estimate was easy to read and fair. Update, I hired Jonny for my bathroom project. These guys are the best in all they do. Customer service, going above and beyond on everything

Our Vortech experience was great. Starla, who helped with appointment setting, was friendly and professional as I walked her through my concerns. We had our system installed in July of 2023 by Dustin (Lead Tech), and it cooled SO much better than the previous unit! We had them back in Oct 2025 for a routing checkup, and again the experiences was great. Give Vortech a call! read more

Renee and Starla at Vortech Plumbing were amazing! I had a difficult situation and Starla was super communicative and Renee was hands down the best plumber I have ever worked with. He was thoughtful and also a good communicator. The price was fair and the work was completed within 2 days of initial contact. I would highly recommend! read more

We had standing water around toilet. They diagnosed new flange, wax ring, etc. Four return trips to get it right after shoddy workmanship, mortar splashes on wall, shims showing and stains on pedestal. Still leaked. Replaced supply line on fourth trip. After I complained and posted a negative review they asked for a chance to make me happy with an accommodation of AC service. I suggested a small partial refund of $200 on a $1,295 job. They agreed if I edited my review. I did that in advance as a show of good faith. Had to chase them to uphold their end of the deal. Finally Zelled me $150 instead of the agreed upon amount. I returned it. It's not about $200, which is lunch money, it's about honoring your word. Avoid these guys.... read more

The previous owner of my home had a 75 gallon water heater which finally died. The guy they sent out was amazing. He removed the old water heater and installed anew 50 gallon unit. The guy who had the Australian accent was great. Before he began I asked him to teach me how to drain the unit each year to let the high calcium exit the tank to minimize the build up. He answered all my questions and he had a wonderful demeanor. In the future I will call Vortech for any plumbing problems. All that and the cost was reasonable. read more

Our hose bib was located on the inside of my garage when we purchased our home nine years ago. I have always wanted it on the outside to make watering areas of my yard and planters easier. I contacted several plumbing companies and Vortech came in with the win. Not only was the price fair but the job could be done that same day. I am so pleased with Dustin and Tony!! All about taking care of the customer and great service. I am so pleased with not having to wrestle the hose anymore, I will use them again. I definitely recommend Vortech for any of your needs. Wow let me share a quick story I called the team at R and R at 4 am after the heat in my house went out. My mom who I care for has to have heat due to her failing health. Whitney answered the phone! I was shocked I actually got A person at that hour of the morning. She was so sweet and understanding of my situation. 45 minutes later the technician, Miguel showed up. I was so impressed by their After inspecting the furnace and diagnosing the issue, Miguel had my heat back up and running and 20 minutes flat. I'm not a technical person but Miguel explained it in a manner that I could understand. He was polite, personable professional and the price was very reasonable. Thank you R&R you guys rock! For anyone who has an emergency. It needs a quick reasonably priced repair by professionals. I highly recommend you use this company. I sent out a general request through Yelp for our broken A/C unit and Vortech was the first to contact me and then offered a same day appointment. David came and thoroughly explained what the issues were with our unit and I felt right away that I could trust him. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like he genuinely cared about getting this repaired. He got out A/C running and working better than before, which was an absolute miracle for us since we are in the middle of a heat wave. Thank you, David! read more

*update* I did appreciate that I was contacted after posting my review, to see if they can make things right. We already went with another business, but did appreciate the follow up. I had an appointment scheduled, and the tech was supposed to show up between 3:30-5. It was 10 min until 6 and the tech was still not here. I called their office and I was told they'd call me back to find out where he was. I waited another 20 minutes, and still didn't get a call back. I called back and told them to cancel my appointment. It's never a good first impression to be late and not even give an update read more

I called this morning for a unit that has been a problem. They came out same day and of course it came on after David opened it all up. Responsive, efficient and great value! They were quick to check my 37 year old unit when it quit on me and gave me an honest recommendation to replace the entire system as it was not only inefficient but also dangerous and a liability. I have used this company now two times to complete new AC units in my rental condos. Dustin the owner is great. They show up when they say they will, handle everything without me there even. They are clean, friendly and very reasonably priced. They made the whole process easy for me each time. I would highly recommend this business. read more

Great customer service. Came out within a day to resolve a problem that the installing company didn't fix on a unit only 7 years old. While the unit was working when the tech left, within a few hours it stoped working again. When I called (late Saturday afternoon) they set an appointment for the following Monday. It was a quick, and hopefully permanent fix. I will definitely use them again. They stand behind their work. read more

Came in promptly. Assessed the leak under the kitchen sink and gave two options. Said will try option 1 and fixed the leak. Said there won't be any issues, but the leak resurfaced a day after. Came by and fixed it and gave a 30 day warranty. Overall, a satisfying experience, highly recommended. read more

Update: Dustin fixed our issue. Fair price, No BS, no upsell. Made me aware of a few potential issues down the line with our ductwork, thanks to the home builder, but didnt pressure us into paying for something unnecessary--just gave us an FYI. Will definitely keep R&R on my contacts for any further hvac maintenance we have. -------------------- Called R&R in the evening to diagnose and fix an AC issue and they were able to schedule me in the next day. During a heatwave, for them to be able to do this, is a real solid. Ill update this review after the service appointment with the solution and pricing fairness. read more

Dustin quickly responded to our AC going down this past week. Found that our copper lineset had been punctured during backyard renovations and sent his 5star technician Andy out to open up the wall in our master bedroom to access the line and solder the damaged line. AC humming along now before the blistering Inland heat hits, and R&R got us up and running again! Thank you R&R! read more

I cannot recommend this place enough! A previous pro had come to the house and recommended a new AC compressor and an over two week wait to get it fixed. This pro arrived and realized a switch was off! The issue was fixed in 10 minutes! Efficient, capable, and mostly honest! read more

I had them come out for an estimate for my heater not switching on. I was quoted 700 to replace a main board. I wanted a second opinion and went with someone else that found the problem was a wire coming lose. Total cost to fix: 70. So I never hired this company. Fast forward 3 months I am now getting g phone calls soliciting their services. The first time I asked them to not call me anymore. They still call. Now they're call blocked and convinced me to write a review. Bottom line, make sure you get more than one quote. Wasting 35 bucks for a diagnosis is better than overpaying 500 dollars. read more

We have been putting off replacing our unit for 4 years. Our unit finally died in the middle of a heatwave. They were able to take my calls after hours and were here the next day to put a new unit in for us. We have recommended R&R heating and cooling to all our friends and family. They are always honest about what needs to be repaired and don't try to get you to replace parts that aren't needed. read more

Great service and great people. I would definitely use R&R again. Their prices are fair and reasonable.

We came back from vacation and the upstairs unit was not working in the middle of July. I called at like 10:30 at night and Dustin answered and set up an appointment for next day. Gabriel came out on time as scheduled and the problem was fixed. It has been almost 100 degrees, and we don't know what we would have done without them. We have two kids and four dogs. So seriously grateful. I highly recommend. read more

An honest review of R&R. Beware of cheap service call. I called this company because their service call is very cheap $39. The technician didn't really diagnose the problem. He just touched here and there and then recommended to replace many items. They're added up in the thousands dollars. Right away I already noticed this pushy tactic suggesting to replace the entire unit for ~$9,000. Next day, I called another guy for a 2nd opinion. This new guy took his time to trace the problem and found the root cause of the problem. My cost ended up just a fraction of what R&R wanted from me. People giving this company 5 stars were probably because they didn't know any better or they're friends and relatives. Not recommended. read more

Our HVAC fan was malfunctioning. I scheduled a service call with R&R. A technician showed up at the agreed upon time. I won't reveal his name because he was a good guy who unfortunately is associated with a not so good review. First impression: He showed up on time, no mask until he saw me wearing one, at which time he went back to the vehicle to retrieve a scarf. I gave him some shoe covers I described the symptoms to him (the HVAC fan was cycling on and off). Instead of going to the attic where the fan is located, he went outside to the AC unit, opened it, took some measurements, then proceeded to up-sell me. He said my system was near end of life and I should consider replacing it. I told him we should fix the problem first, then we can discuss a new system sometime in the future. At this point, he still hasn't looked in the attic where the problem is located. When I led him to the hallway where he could hear the fan cycling, he went outside for tools and a ladder, the went to the attic to take a look. After about 5 minutes, he came down with a part in his hand and explained it needed to be replaced. 15 minutes later, he had replaced the part. Once again, he started up-selling us. He said we need to invest in a new system, but we could do a "band-aid" and replace the motor and associated parts. Both options were pricy. I told him my wife and I would discuss it and get back to him The part he replaced didn't fix the problem. It started again as he was driving away. The dispatcher sent him back to us, He didn't go back in the attic, but told us we need to replace a motor at an inflated price. He left without fixing our system, but returned the check we gave him for the repair. subsequently, I had another technician form a different company look at our system. The 2nd technician removed the part R&R technician installed because it was the wrong part. I shared the diagnosis and costs for repairs I received from R&R with the 2nd tech. It turns out his quotes were extreme. I don't blame him for this. He was quoting me R&R prices. The 2nd tech gave up. I had to call a 3rd company who sent a technician who was able to correctly diagnose our HVAC system and make the repair. The 3rd technician also told me R&R's quotes were excessive. Final Impression: The technician from R&R was courteous and professional. I almost want to add another start just based on our conversations with him. However, the up-selling without fixing our problem was a turnoff. I would still recommend R&R, but only for upgrading your system...not for repairs. read more

I was requested to rate them on google. However, since they misspelled my name, I couldn't post my review using the link they sent me. They are very knowledgeable and they fixed what needed to be fixed. Chandler was very helpful. He answered all of my questions and fixed the issue. He even came back a couple days later when the leak didn't stop.I definitely recommend them. Keep up the good work guys!!! I appreciate everything you did for me. read more

My heater stopped working a month after I had another company "check and clean" the unit. R&R showed me that the heater had not been touched. No fingerprints in the dust inside or outside. The motor was bad and they had to order it. After a few days they put it in and cleaned the whole unit. This cost the same amount as the company that just "cleaned" it. They went over everything, took pictures and showed me everything. They readjusted the Nest and everything working great. Nice to have an honest company that will take time to explain what was done and actually want you to look at their work. read more
