Veg Pakoda
Shubha S.

Had not been here in several years. It is now under different management. Nice and clean place. Service was good. I was surprised that they have a full bar now and happy hour Monday thru Thursday. We ordered mix veg pakoda and chicken malai tikka for appetizers in addition to their complimentary papad and chutneys. Both were good, however, the pakodas should be smaller and crispier and kakabs smaller and more tender. For entrees, we ordered daal makhani and malai methi paneer with butter roti and garlic naan. Both entrees were excellent! The servings are good sized too...we had plenty of leftovers. Do visit if you are in the area.

Chicken tikka masala with oily

Bought chicken tikka, butter chicken, and samosa's. First everything was hot after getting it home. The food was all oily. The samosas were ok, but the chutney was watery.

Been here several times, for $12 lunch weekday buffet this is an absolute steal! The food is really good and flavorful, they have a good amount of options but not too many, but each option is so good. Additionally, they make fresh naan bread for you which is included in the buffet, and the naan comes out so hot and fresh, buttery and crunchy. This is one of our favorite things here. My friends and I love eating here. Beyond the naan, we like the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, paneer, and kheer. Their butter chicken is really good, creamy and mildly spicy, and the tandoori chicken is tender yet juicy with a prevalent smoky flavor. I also really liked the paneer, and the kheer has a bit of banana flavoring which makes it creamy and delicious. Ambiance is quiet and modern, and the service is fast and simple. We came close to closing and they still replenished the buffet and were kind to us. Our favorite local Indian food spot!

Service was great, waitress was super friendly and food was fantastic. Restaurant was very clean and nice decor. Wish we could have caught the buffet but they only have it for lunch.

Lunch buffet

Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and was able to try their lunch buffet for $11.99. The restaurant itself is clean and there are plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. They had the buffet area set up on the side of the restaurant with plates, silverware, and napkins to help serve yourself. They had a variety of vegetarian, chicken and tandoori chili fish dish to choose from, in addition to rice and salad. I felt like there could have been a bit more options to choose from, but the options they did have were tasty. Their chutney sauce was amazing and was so delicious on everything. They also bring out fresh buttery naan bread which was amazing. My favorite was the chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chili fish. Definitely try those out if you do go. We also ordered their hot chai tea, which was so flavorful and good! Overall, pretty good spot for Indian food and a bonus to go during lunch and try out their buffet for a really good price!

Samosa

Jewel in the neighborhood. I was very satisfied with the food I got from here. I picked up the lamp chops, vegetable biryani, vegetable samosa, fried potatoes and variety of naan. The lamb was so very well cooked and tender. They really know how lamb is supposed to be prepared. It was sooooo good. The rice was good as well. I enjoyed the nuts, raisins and spices. The samosa was delectable. The crust was so on point and the stuffing was bursting with flavor. The fried potato slices was ok. The only thing I did not like was the naan flavor variety. The naan was very soft and warm. That part was good. The olive, garlic, and regular naan all tastes the same. I was expecting a distinction in the flavor. Over all I really liked this place. I am so glad that I found it. It is now on the few I choose to visit when I am not cooking. This jewel is worth the try.

Tandoori Chicken

This was our first time here and we came for dinner. The food was very good - fresh, served hot and just the right spices. Attentive service and they came to check on us frequently. The ambiance was pleasant.

uBuffet option. Veggie Rice, tandoori Chicken, Curry chicken, and tikka masala chicken.

I LOVE Indian food with a passion and have been trying to find places all over the North Dallas area and this is a little hidden gem in Allen. We went around 7:15 on a Tuesday and they were not that busy. They are in the far corner of a shopping center so I doubt many know it's there unless you're specifically looking for it. I can't understand why more people haven't found this place yet. The food is amazing. We walked in and the hostess was there and she walked us directly to our table. The inside is bright with a window showing you the kitchen. Plenty of seating for everyone. My only complaint was it was a little more toasty than I like to eat at inside but was manageable. The menu covers your traditional dishes with good prices. We opted for the buffet. The buffet only came to about $15 per person with a soda but you had so many options to choose from. One person in our party is a vegetarian and they had plenty of options for them on the buffet. They're Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. So flavorful and cooked perfectly. Their vegetable rice was some of the best I have ever had. Had the right amount of curry and honestly I straight up mixed that with my Chicken and those spices complimented each other so well. I dropped a picture to show you some of the options I had. I definitely will be back here and you should go check it out as well!

Absolute magic. Not "set your mouth on fire" spice... just enough to keep you going back for one more bite until suddenly the bowl is empty and you're questioning your life choices. The chicken was seasoned so well, the veggies added the perfect crunch, and everything tasted fresh instead of greasy like a lot of fried rice can be. Honestly, hands down better than any chicken fried rice I've had at a Chinese restaurant. Bold statement. Fully standing by it. And paired with that warm naan in the background? Certified comfort-food royalty. And we cannot forget the cleanliness of the dining area. You could literally eat off the floor. Surpasses the 5 sec rule!

The person at the register was very rude and was reluctant to give us a to-go box. Ambiance was okay, but the atmosphere was just not good because of the service. They didn't bring the food to the table. The presentation of the food was terrible, just thrown onto these plastic plates. The dahi puri was terrible - no flavor, chai was not good, and the Chicken 65 was really a chicken salaan. Highly do not recommend. Will not be back.

The dining area is spacious and flexible, with seating that works well for individuals, couples, and larger groups. Everything was clean, and the dining area smelled of Indian spices. There is also a separate dining room available for parties, which is a nice touch. Ordering is straightforward and efficient: you walk up to the counter, place and pay for your order, the food is delivered to your table and you enjoy it. I appreciated how generous the breakfast combos are each one comes with a good amount of food. We ordered a breakfast combo with all of our favorites: dosa, upma, idli, sambar, and vada. The dosa was well-fermented, crisp, and flavorful. The upma was soft and comforting, with a moist, fluffy texture and was well seasoning. The idli was light and fluffy, and the sambar had just the right of flavor to complement it. The vada was crisp on the outside, tender inside, and paired especially well with the sambar. We finished our meal with a masala chai and left very satisfied. The prices were reasonable for the quantity and quality of food served. Eat Streets Indian Kitchen is definitely a keeper for us and a spot we will return to when we are in the area.

We had to ask them to clean it. Just one person was managing the whole thing from taking orders to bringing the food and cleaning too. We ordered poori bhaaji, Benne Dosa and Vada sambar. All three items came in disposable bowl and plates with real cheap cutlery that it was hard to even cut the Vada with a fork! The food quality- poori bhaaji and dosa was ok, Vada sambar and chutneys for dosa were mediocre. The owners seriously need to look at improving quality and spend a little more on basic things otherwise won't take long to fold the place. I won't go again for sure.
