All veg Indian. Really nice restaurant - felt fancier than some places I've been to. The chai and snacks were nice to start off with. I had the thali and it was huge! Soooo many options and all were delicious. The menu was really large and I need to go back with my friend who can explain everything to me. I really want to try more. But, if you want a good sampling - thali is the best way.

The wait time here is far too long for the quality of food served. While the Benne Dosa was okay, the rest of the meal was a major disappointment. We tried the new Royal Platter on the waiter's recommendation, but it was flavorless and lacked seasoning. To make matters worse, the spinach rolls were served ice-cold. Three different types of paneer kebabs were included, but none had any marinade or salt.

Reached here at opening time and ordered for our regular fare - masala dosa for me and Plain dosa for the better half. The dosa were served soon and Carly as we like them - hot, crispy and with freshly made chutneys ! No doubt these are the best in North Dallas! Service has been stellar by Bhanudas who is always anticipating our requests and her service always a step above! Kudos to her! Ambience was quiet and welcoming !

This is our new breakfast spot for Idly & Dosa whenever we have a craving. We have been here twice for breakfast we usually go early so getting a seat is not a problem at all. We have tried their Idly's , Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, Medu Vada & Rava Masala Dosa. Everything we have tried we loved it . Their variety of chutneys given on the table are also very good. Food quality & freshness is very nice , service is also pretty quick sometimes it's too fast by the time you are halfway the other dish it's already ready to be placed on the table. I wish they can pace that.... Loved their coffee too. Bharat Bhavan has ample parking, seating inside is very spacious , nicely decorated & very well maintained from hygiene perspective. We enjoy coming here will try their Thali next time.

I heard it was good waiting time of above 30 mins, luckily i went on a sunday morning and by the time i was there, it was only 2 mins wait time for us. Ambience is good and so is food. We ordered beetroot rava masala dosa which was crunchy upto my taste bud, other items included idli vada combo, ghee dosa, chole bhature, biryani, corn bhel chat, gobhi munchurian, bajji etc. Only drawback was that their to go box lids were too delicate n broke while packing

Came here back in Oct '25 and so far the dishes were delicious, but my cocktail was not. There was a taste of something synthetic. I let my companions order the food and they are all excellent. The okace was clean and inviting.

This restaurant was PACKED when I went. My friends and I had to wait like 15 mins to get seated. I do like how organized the staff was. Every member had tablets to take care of the customers. I thought Bharat Bhavan was on the more flavorful side of the Indian restaurants I've been to (this is a good thing). I especially enjoyed the "Sev Puri". The Masala Dosa was HUGE! I couldn't finish and had to take half of it home. My friends enjoyed their Thali Meals. The atmosphere can be loud since there are so many people inside.

Tasty food, but service and organization needs improvement! Ambiance: We arrived at 5:00 on a Sunday and there was already a line for seating! We were luckily seated quickly and the interior was nice and clean. Service: Lacking! Our food was served and we had to ask several people for plates. When we asked someone to take an empty plate we were told no and they just walked away. Servers didn't seem very familiar with the menu and couldn't answer basic questions about dishes. Food: - Masala Papad Chaat: Incredibly soggy. Papad was not fresh and crunchy. Skip! - Samosa Chaat: Filling and flavorful! Would order over the masala papad. - Paneer Momos: Tasty paneer filling! - Veg Manchurian Noodles: The best dish! Spicy in the best way with chewy, savory noodles. - Saag Corn Curry: Delicious! Loved the sweet corn that balanced out spicy spinach.

We really enjoyed the Chana Dahi Puri and Pachhimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulao as they were our favorites. The Masala Dosa and Mixed Vegetable Paneer Dum Biryani were tasty as well. Portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was just lovely. 10/10 would come again.

Great ambiance, quick service and great food! Expect long wait lines but it's worth the wait. We got paneer ghee roast, curry leaf mushroom chilli and Donne biryani, everything was excellent!! Highly recommend this place!

Definitely check out their rava masala onion dosa, baby corn Manchuria, curry paneer, and veg thali. The portion sizes are huge and I highly recommend ending your meal with the filter coffee. The service was great but the wait times are long so I recommend getting a reservation ahead of time. It's a nice restaurant to sit down and the ambiance is very nice.

We were here on Sankranthi day for dinner and enjoyed the food. Place has very welcoming ambiance and lot of seating! Ww got there early and were seated immediately. Ordered one Puri with Bombay Sagu(aloo curry), 70mm Dosa and Lasuni Gobi My daughter loved the puri as she always does. Lasuni gobi did not look like the picture on the menu, but tasted good! 70mm dosa was good for 2 adults and a kid, it comes with plenty of chutneys and you can request for more. My only compliant with dosa it was little on crispy side, I wish they ask us how we want our Our waitress Nandita was very attentive and constantly checking if we need anything else. All in all great experience. Would go back to try the other stuff.

OMG! This place! So authentic. I'm honestly a little sad I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted because I started digging in the moment the dishes hit the table, they were ALL insanely good! There's usually a wait (up to an hour for seating), but trust me, it's absolutely worth it. If you're looking for authentic Indian dishes bursting with flavor and made with clean, high-quality ingredients, this is the place to be. The restaurant itself looked very spacious, and the aesthetics were super cool too. I somehow managed to snap a picture of the complimentary chips they serve, adorably presented in a cute little container. Everything about this place was excellent... but the fooooood! Oh my gosh, I have no words. Here's everything we ordered, along with my ratings for each dish: Spicy Curry leaf chili mushroom - 12/10 Paneer ghee roast - 8/10 Mushroom dum biryani -7/10 Pachhimirchi Paneer Cashew Pulao(Spicy) - 10/10 Benne dosa - 10/10 Mangalore goli bajji -10/10 Veg spring rolls - 12/10 Steamed veg momos - 6/10 Ghee Mini idlis dipped in sambar - 10/10 Sizzling Brownie with ice cream - 12/10 Blueberry cobbler - 7/10 And they were mouthwateringly delicious! I only wish I could go back again and try all other dishes, they have a vast menu and a lot of 'coming soon' items too.

They're also aesthetically pleasing. A bit less eggy than other fluffy souffle pancake joints that I've tried overseas. The pancakes here are fluffy and closer to the American cake consistency, but much lighter and easier to cut through versus the types you'd get in Japan. Strawberry Souffle Pancakes - The strawberries are fresh and delicious. Definitely appreciate that the whipped cream appears to be made in house and not out of a can. The premium pancake option comes with the equivalent of three strawberries and two pancakes with a reasonable dollop of whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Nutella Banana Souffle Pancakes - Roughly half or two-thirds of a banana split in two and appears to have a bit of caramelized sugar on it. There's also one strawberry, a Ferrero Rocher, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce to go with two fluffy pancakes. The entree is definitely well executed and fruits are fresh. Whipped cream is excellent. Overall, this place is a great place to enjoy some fluffy souffle pancakes. There's limited seating and wait times on the pancakes are anywhere between 15-20 minutes, which we appreciate because they do make them to order. The price of $13.99 for two pancakes off the premium menu felt a bit steep for the product. Experience at much better establishments, like Happy Pancake, in Shibuya or Ginza offer three pancakes with a greater quantity of whipped cream and fruits at roughly $8.25 with no expectations on tips. I understand we're in the states and this may not be a fair comparison, but the variance in both quantity and price is steep. Other than that, the product is good and worth a try.

Every time I walked by on both Saturday and Sunday, the line was out the door. After seeing how busy it was on Saturday, I honestly expected better preparation for Sunday -- especially with staffing. I finally stopped by around 8:00 p.m. Sunday night when the line wasn't nearly as long, but it still took over 29 minutes just to get an ice cream. There was only one person working the register and one person preparing all the orders on his own. That said, both employees remained calm and professional the entire time. They did not appear stressed despite the constant flow of customers, and they handled everything with patience. Major credit to them for keeping it together all weekend. Management, however, could have anticipated the volume of a large cheer competition and staffed accordingly. With better preparation, the experience could have been much smoother. Kudos to the two employees for staying composed and doing their best under tough circumstances.
