We had brunch here today and had a great experience!…read more Before going, I called to ask about their gluten-free options. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and knowledgeable. She explained that they have a dedicated fryer for their chicken wings and fries, offer gluten-free hamburger buns, and other gluten-free options. That gave me the confidence to give them a try. When we arrived, we grabbed a table on the patio and then ordered. We shared the loaded breakfast fries (without the chile since it isn't gluten-free), and they were delicious. I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and flavorful. My gluten-free daughter had the barbecue chicken wings and fries, and my gluten-free son ordered the huevos rancheros without the chile. My husband had the regular huevos rancheros. The server who took our order seemed to be new, but another woman, possibly the owner or manager, was extremely friendly, answered all of our questions. As someone with celiac disease, that level of knowledge and willingness to answer questions means a lot. Everything we ordered was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

No Competition occupies the kitchen spaces at the newly renovated Sandia Bar. To our embarrassment and amazement, we stumbled across it - look for signs to the Sandia Bar at the corner of W. Ella and Corrales Road. Are we glad we did. Order and pick up at the outdoor counter adjacent to the parking lot. No seating in the actual restaurant, but you are more than welcome to go into the Sanda Bar or use one of their numerous outdoor tables. The friendly staff at the bar are used to this arrangement. While you are there, have a drink in the Sandia Bar and look at what they have done to make what was once the local "biker bar" hangout into an upscale drinking emporium. And best of all, this is our new "best in New Mexico" burger joint. Simply the best. We also tried out the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and fish and chips. Highly recommended and best of all, its in our backyard. Check out our YouTube video report. https://youtu.be/2Z0Xkdf05rw?si=1t5zHP29uwkPia_H

When we let her know that my wife didn't like the cider because it was too sweet, she immediately wanted to make things right and happily changed it to an El Tri. That level of customer service really stood out. For food, my wife ordered the carne asada quesadillas, while I got the two-taco plate with one carne asada taco and one pollo asado taco. Both were delicious, but I enjoyed the carne asada slightly more. To drink, I had the Ranch Water and the La Flaca, and both were great. The Ranch Water was crisp and refreshing, and the La Flaca was also very enjoyable. The place itself had a great cozy atmosphere. We had our choice of several tables, and there was at least one TV in the bar area, but it wasn't distracting at all. Great food, great drinks, and excellent service from Lexi made this an easy place to recommend. We'll definitely be back!

Pozole not as good as the one I get at Meso Maya back home in DFW but it's still quite good. Seems like it was missing some acid or salt, not sure. Ambiance was ok but not great. Being in a strip mall isn't a great place and inside could use some plants and dividers between tables or areas. Liked the artwork, lighting, and decor though.

The appetizers were salad fresh, fried vegetables and pork belly with five different delicious sauce with Kimchi. The main Entré dish with duck, short ribs and Barramundi with protein were fantastic. The sorbet and house ice cream topped the palate with generous cappuccino. I'm strongly recommending this unique and healthy restaurant for all of my four regular Mukbang fans.

The meat is angus beef brought in daily and never frozen. The burgers are big, and OTC (as they prefer to call this place) will cook them medium for you. That is a big plus in my book because it means that you can get a reasonably lean burger that is also very juicy and tasty. Are you listening, Five Guys? The green chile at OTC is always plenty piquante (that's a fancy word for HOT). You add your own condiments. Their pickles are so good and crunchy that I am suspicious they might be made in-house. Your hamburger bun will come with the OTC initials grilled into the top. The buns are high quality and add to the hamburger experience. No dissolving buns at OTC. You get your choice of sides. I always pick the fruit cup as it contains at least one large piece of fresh pineapple or watermelon, making the other bits and pieces much more pleasing. Service starts when you order at the counter. Then the trusty staff makes your stuff and brings it out to your table. They have several beers on tap and more in the bottle, but I drink either water or Dr Pepper with my burgers just like the Texans I grew up with.

Staff were walking around constantly, dusting and rearranging chairs to make sure everything looked nice for guests. Our server was wonderful, quickly bringing a little plate of bread with a garlicky tomato bruschetta spread and a bit of olive oil. I think the restaurant should swap for a nicer EVOO, but the complimentary bread was a nice tide-me-over while we looked over the menu. My only other note: cleanliness of the dinnerware. He found a food bit dried on his fork and requested a new one, but then (the exterior of) his wine glass was smudged with something crusty, too... Not the server's fault by any means, but definitely something we hope the restaurant will pay closer attention to in the future. I got chicken Parmesan, and he got the traditional gnocchi. The server was kind to accommodate my request for Alfredo on the pasta side, and we were both super impressed by the house made tomato sauce. My chicken was perfectly cooked, and the pasta wasn't overcooked - which was a marked difference from M'Tucci's (and other Italian-American restaurants we've tried in the ABQ area). We agreed that we want to return to Joe's because it was a quick, easy, affordable, and super satisfying meal. Thanks, Joe's Pasta House! See you again soon.
