After the first…read moreapplication, we had two super shiny sections, while the others were noticeably more matte and rough edges sticking up through the top coat. Unfortunately, we had just had the walls and trim professionally painted fresh and new a week before they did our floor. Our salesman said with their vac systems, we wouldn't have to worry about dust--it wasn't bad; however, the lack of care for the walls was unacceptable. We had dirty hand prints, a couple of noticeable dents in drywall as well as heavy black marks in numerous areas of this large 3 car garage. After they came back the second time, it was even worse. The crews were nice enough, seemed to know what they were doing, but simply blatant disregard for personal property--I had even mentioned that we had just had walls painted. After contacting Comer & Cross about the walls, we've had zero response. We had our garage coated in another house and didn't have any kind of issues. Guess we should have waited on Brown Epoxy Finishes for an extra two months...

Im a business owner myself and being on time and having sound policy and procedures in place to ensure a great client experience is a must. The quote appointment came and went without a visit. I texted the representative after 20 minutes beyond the set appointment time of and received: "I'm not sure what happened with the reschedule but it looks like the appointment was never set. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused! Are you available tomorrow at 1 pm?" I responded with: "Im booked until Friday. I can do Friday morning. I close the office on Fridays." I texted about 30 minutes later due to a scheduling change for me: "My wife has something going on for Friday. My next open day is 6/23." The representative never reached back out to re-confirm a new appointment date and time which I interpreted as they are not looking for new clients....no response whatsoever. Moving on to find additional reputable companies willing to quote the job.

Review #470 April…read more10, 2024 - Wednesday First To Add Business, First To Tip and First To Review! I called Joe at First Cut Lawn Care on Friday March 29th and he answered with a pleasant Hello and How can I help You voice. No need to leave a message since he promptly answered my call. I was calling about Core Aeration because this service was advertised in Yellow Pages and not on Yelp. We chatted about 15 minutes and He was informative about service and price. I gave him my address and he looked on Goggle Map to see My home with a estimate of $85.00 for front and backyards. I agree with the price and to set the lawn project up as soon as possible. Due to the weather conditions, he informed Me that he would call Me two days ahead with a time to perform the job. Then I would have to "Flag The Sprinklers" 24 hours before hand. He called Me to set up on Friday April 5th with a day and time. Joe arrived on April 9th, Tuesday promptly with a Core Aeration machine. He was organized on where to start the process with the sides of my property then work on the backyard then to finish the front areas. He was kind enough to cleanup lose plugs in my driveway and street area near mailbox. Attached Are Several Photos of the Core Aeration project I took while the project was being done. Great Service and advice from Joe about Seeding for the holes after 7 days and also 2 weeks till 2nd Fertilizer Treatment. He showed professionalism from start to the finished project completed in a total of 40 minutes. The price of Core Aeration was the same as his initial estimate over the phone for $85.00 based on square feet of My home property. I am excited to watch the roots of the grass grow deeper and stronger after seeding next week and applying fertilizer on April 25th. If you are interested in Core Aeration which helps the lawn break up soil underground in your grass for the expanding new growth. I would call for an estimate to perform this in either Spring or Fall for greener results every 3 years. My Overall Communication, Service Requested, Resulted in Quality and Value. He was very Efficient in the work completed with Core Aeration. If I need any future Lawn Services as listed on their website or in my attached photos with information, I will certainly call Joe with First Cut Lawn Care at (248) 840-5359. I have been trying to get a concrete contractor to quote this work for almost three years, often without even a response. JV Concrete was one of 4 contractors who responded this summer. I selected them because they were 40% lower than their nearest competitor. I don't normally go with the lowest bidder, especially if the difference is so large, but the difference was compelling. They made me very comfortable with the scope of work, everything was in writing, and they demonstrated that they clearly understood what I was expecting. Needless to say, I still observed their work fairly carefully. And boy, am I glad I selected them. They were flexible in scheduling and arrived with a small army of workers. The job was scheduled to take three days but due to heavy storms it took 5. They didn't even try to discuss a cost change due to the additional time. They made short work of the driveway and the rest of the job was impressive and professional. They even left me a gallon of paint for touchups in the garage if it were ever needed. At least 3 of my neighbors saw the quality of work and asked for quotes before they left. If you have a job that falls within the scope of their services, choose them. I would not recommend anyone else.
