There is a large selection of ISPs available, but most of them are suspect in my mind. XMission is the only one with a total usage cap. However, even as a heavy user I've not hit it. By having the cap, it's easier to handle people who abuse the bandwidth setting up spam servers or torrent servers. They are also the only one meeting state of the art security standards like SOC2. Back to Utopia. It just works. I have 250Mbs up and down. That allows me to do full backups of my home to the Cloud. I could never do that with the pitiful upload speed the competition has. Plus it's far cheaper.

It was no trouble at all to return their equipment - they came and picked it up. The service has been really fantastic. The speeds are more than we need, and I have a few dozen devices between our phones, tablets, laptops, a home computer, and a collection of smart home devices and cameras. One week later I got a follow up call from NewStar just to see how I was liking my New DirecTv sytem. Let me say I am pretty embarrassed at how I treated the young lady on the phone. I vented and was very upset and she didn't interrupt me even once! She listen ACTUALLY LISTENED. Then she fixed it all right over the phone, I didn't even need a technician and that saved me time and money right there! She went through step by step with my uncle of making a favorites list and with the protection plan I had got from them they were able to send me out a remote that fit my uncles needs even better, for free ($15 plus shipping if I didn't have that protection plan). Remote got to us in 2 days and they had already setup a favorites list with my uncle and he was happier than he had ever been in his 80 years of different tv services (he is now deceased). Senawave had us fully functional in 4 days. We've enjoyed more than 99.99 availability, essential in our 14-hour work days and on weekends, despite some occasionally very bad weather conditions. Every phone call to Senawave, primarily to ask questions or to explore adding or relocating service, has been met very professionally, timely, courteously, and with technical expertise. Exactly what I needed. Never a waste of time or energy talking to the technicians and others at this company. They set a high standard for all broadband services companies.
