I've order from them through Uber, multiple times. Different food each time. They can never get the order right. I ordered a shawarma, with hummus only. They gave me tahina and Israeli salad in a chicken pita. 2 days ago, I ordered a well done hamburger with lettuce only. They sent over the burger that was less than well done, with all the trimmings. I just enjoyed the most incredibly beautiful Oriental King Mushroom Salad. My salad is brilliant in color. The Charred King Mushrooms are unique and wonderful. The service was excellent. So this is where reviews get difficult. This restaurant makes good food. For the most part. They, however, have ownership that does not care about customer service, experience or otherwise. Don't ever order their food to be delivered- they refuse to use normal food delivery and force you to use "Sauce" which will deliver your food hours late (tried this twice) and will provide absolutely horrible customer support. The restaurant washes their hands of the delivery. For a non-delivery restaurant- I'll go back, because they are the only good kosher spot in town but will never give them business if I can help it otherwise. read more

I just ate here for the first time with a few friends. It was my first ever kosher experience and it was delicious. On top of that they were patient enough to explain to us what all the food was and kind enough to let us sample some dishes. Decent food, but awful, sloppy &slow service. (example: we asked for bread which came as we were finished with our meal). They refused to give us tapwater and instead said they only serve bottled water --which was over six dollars! Every table has a mandatory 18% tip, which may explain the lackluster service. But then they have the chutzpa to add on a line for tip with a chart showing 18, 20, % etc. tip suggestions! How deceitful. I almost fell for it. Suggest you be very vigilant when you get the bill. We were charged for an entree we never got ( they corrected it with no apology). They seem to have no respect for their patrons, and I will be looking elsewhere in the area for a nice meal. read more

A client asked to go to a kosher restaurant for lunch and to be honest there are not many to pick from. He educated me immediately that ham will never be on the menu if it is kosher. Update on Kosherchobee now that I've been eating there, I'd say typically at least once a month, if not more, with friends usually. The last time was a week and a half ago with a friend from out of town. The food is consistently good, service is good, and BH we still have a kosher option for going out to eat. I tend to order what I know I like, but my friend ordered the meat kebabs shaped around a cinnamon stick; remarkably good and great flavor! I still love the schnitzel platter or Chobee salad. I only eat out at kosher restaurants so I have learned to expect nothing so as to be never disappointed. KosherChobee was actually better than expected. Wife had the pargiot - not bad except that it was mostly dark meat, which was new to us; sis had corned beef sandwich which she enjoyed and I had the BBQ pulled beef, which was so sweet I thought I'd go into insulin shock. I also had the beef and chickpea soup, which was pretty good. Unfortunately the soup was served at the same time as my main, so I had to triage which one would get cold first. Our waitress was nice but was for display purposes only. The order was taken and served by some kitchen guy who should have remained in the kitchen. Food is nothing special and they do not offer "free" water - you need to buy bottled water even if you would be happy with tap water. This was rather shocking and foolish in my view. But when the table next to me asked their waiter for regular water and got it -- I complained to our waiter and they finally relented. Pathetic. Menus were sticky (dirty)-- and did not even have beverages listed on them at all (such as soda, let alone know how much bottled water costs). Waiter gave us our checks (without us asking for it), which precluded us even considering ordering dessert. Not worth the trip if you are coming from South of the area and would not go back. Casual dining, excellent food from a modestly sized menu, great presentation and service. Second time eating here. Nothing too exotic but what they make , they make very well. The chicken pargiyot was well seasoned and spiced, very juicy and tender. Chicken schnitzel was crispy and golden on outside, moist inside. Grilled veggie skewer side dish and fries were good too. possibly the worst service I've encountered in 40 year of dining. I am not kosher, but took a British business partner there to allow him to eat within his religious requirements. we arrived for our 630 reservation at 630. were not acknowledged at the door, eventually seated ourselves. after 1 hour of waiting and begging for either water or menu the waiter arrived, told us there as no sense in helping us before as the kitchen was backed up and proceeded to give us a menu and water. the food wasn't bad, but the experience was rude, unfriendly and needs to be called out. whatever issues that restaurant has, torturing your customers is not the way to get repeat business. read more

The owner is a very rude person, not friendly and has no respect for the customers. He doesn't even try to be nice to the customers that is why he includes the tip in the bill. I think the tip should be according to the quality of the service, not imposed. read more

Thrilled to finally have a kosher meat restaurant in the area. Went for dinner, ordered the chicken/turkey shawarma, beautiful presentation and quite tasty but, oh! Hubby ordered the pulled beef and it was fabulous! Served with extra crispy fries. Love that they left a pretty bottle of water on the table so we were able to refill ourselves. We ate at Kosher Chobee for the first time today. It was recommended by friends so we drove there from Boca Raton. We had a very enjoyable dining experience & we all agreed we would come again. The meat/vegan choices are interesting & different from the usual offerings at a meat restaurant. Three of us ordered Hamburgers & one had the Vegan Quinoa Salad with grilled chicken breast. The Burgers were grilled to choice, moist & flavorful. The Quinoa Salad came with 2 pieces of chicken breast plus grilled vegetables. It was a generous portion & very flavorful. For dessert we shared the ice cream "Mayhem" Sundae & Vegan Cheesecake with berries. The ice cream was rich & creamy, cheesecake was rich, studied with chocolate chips. We all commented on the food presentation. Extra time & an artisan flair is shown by all the dishes we ate. What a delightful surprise! My sister (who happens to be orthodox) was visiting and that is how we ended up dining at Kosher Chobee. The tempura cauliflower appetizer was delicious. Kudos to our waiters Yohana and Derron (I hope I haven't butchered their names). They were professional and very personable, as was the owner. All of us found our food very tasty. My husband had the salmon. I enjoyed my corned beef with coleslaw on grilled rye with well done fries, and my sister had a chicken parjito(? an israeli dish, not sure of the spelling). Great little Jewish diner that we were so lucky to have stumbled on. Service was very friendly-- Lillian was very helpful in giving us recommendations. My bf had the falafel pita and chickpea soup, both were very good. I got the chicken shawarma with roasted vegetables and sweet potatoes, also very good. We got the apple strudel for dessert. The Turkish coffee made a great pair to the desert. Overall a very sweet little diner and exactly what we wanted to celebrate the last evening of Chanukah. read more

We went to kosher chobe for dinner. We called and asked if they allowed dogs. They said they did. We made a reservation. When we arrived we were seated immediately outside. We waited 5 minutes and when nobody came we had the request menus. We ordered an appetizer that was never delivered. 45 minutes later our entrees came. But they were missing parts. When we requested those the waiter told us that he had already walked a mile getting us our stuff. Rude! After reviewing them on Google we received a snarky response from the owner. Denying that they ever said that they allowed dogs. And that we asked for too many things. I thought the whole purpose of a service industry like restaurants was to actually provide service. Walked in. Sour faced owner/mgr? standing at register looking at his phone. Looks up. Sees me. No greeting. Keeps looking at phone. I ordered something to go. Sour faced owner/mgr snapping at guy making the food in an extremely nasty/demeaning manner. Not once, but twice. Perhaps he didn't realize that the cook was a cook and not a magician. It takes a few minutes to prepare food, when you're a cook and not a magician. Cook brought item out of kitchen. Hands me the item. I thank him. Sour faced owner/mgr takes my payment. No thank you from him. My food had so much garlic in it (and I LOVE garlic) that I took a few bites (I was starving) and threw the rest away. If there are any demons flying around the area , they won't be coming anywhere near me any time soon. The garlic I ate will keep them at bay till next year. (Is that a bad thing, really??) Some unsolicited advice to sour faced owner/mgr..... Don't treat your employees like garbage. Don't treat your customers like garbage. Say hello when a customer walks through your door. The food is very good. I used take the schlep down to Boca for a good Kosher meal. Now its a hop and skip away. The appetizers are tasty and entrees are plentiful. My favorites are the Chicken Schnitzel or pargiot served in a Pita or on a bun with fries. The atmosphere is casual and authentic. The food is served fast and hot.
