This was a really good bagel place. The service was spot on. We were able to get a cute booth on July fourth. I loved my nova platter with the potato salad side. The salt bagel was soo good. We will definitely be back.

On 441 south of Lake Worth Ave. is the Marketplace at Wycliffe shopping center with this NY style bagel Café. There is free parking in front, outdoor tables and waitress service indoors. They have a large assortment of flagels, bialys and bagels. The appetizing encounter & baked goods look appealing.

We've been to Strathmore several times whether it is to dine in, pick up pastries for special occasions or to grab bagels for a quick bite. Initially we were going to dine in but we got a late start so it was busy soup decided to grab bagels. Ok I know we are in south Florida so it's hard to find bagels like ny and nj but these bagels were super thin and literally fell apart when I tried to toast them. Definitely not up to the usual quality we have come to expect from Strathmore.

Veggie omelette egg whites and Philly cheese steak omelette. Huge portions. Good service. Food came hot and in big quantities. Served bagel and toast first which is classic deli breakfast style which I love. We'll be back. Wait was 15 m on a Sunday at 12 so they were busy but line loved quick.

Decided to revisit Strathmore bagels and was very pleasantly surprised. I haven't been here in a while and this morning we decided to go for breakfast and see what was going on. We were seated at a nice large booth and served by a wonderful waitress named Gloria. Breakfast was spot on. Very tasty. Some scrambled eggs, bacon, a bagel and oatmeal. All in all enjoyable experience.

I was hosting a luncheon after my father's funeral, and he always loved going to Strathmore. I went online to view the catering menu and determined my budget based on the prices. When I called to place the order, I was told that the prices had gone up, yet they hadn't changed their website. I asked to have someone call me regarding this issue before paying for the order. Paula called and claimed that her costs had gone up, which I respect, but change the website for those that are not local. In the end, we were able to come to an agreement, and I placed the order. The platters were beautiful, and the meats were delicious. I had asked for specific types of bagels, and they threw in all kinds, which some went to waste. Oddly, the salads tasted like they used miracle whip or added some sweetener to them. The coleslaw was somewhat dry, and the potato salad was odd. It had carrots in it and again tasted too sweet. Several of my guests commented about that. I don't know that I would order from them again, as I looked today (3 weeks later) and their catering prices still reflect the old pricing. That is not a professional way to do business. There are many other great delis in the area. Buyer beware!

Strathmore Bagels in Wellington is known for its fresh, New York-style bagels, and your order gives a good taste of their offerings. The Asiago cheese bagel with scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese likely had a great balance of savory flavors, with the cheesy crust adding extra richness. The eggs were likely fluffy, while the bacon added a nice crunch. The plain bagels with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese offered a simpler, classic breakfast option, allowing the fresh bagel texture to shine. I did end up ordering a hot black tea. It was amazing! Overall, if the bagels were fresh and the eggs well-cooked, it sounds like a satisfying meal.

I was greeted and seated immediately by the hostess. She was very friendly, which is always refreshing. I ordered a simple breakfast of eggs, home fries, and a toasted scooped onion bagel. I was able to upgrade to veggie cream cheese for a small upcharge. The bagel and veggie cream cheese was very good. They gave me a tremendous amount of it, too. I would have gladly brought it home, but unfortunately, I wasn't going home for several hours, so I had to leave it behind. My eggs were perfectly cooked, and the potatoes were a little bit greasy, but still good. What wasn't good was finding a hair mixed in with the potatoes and biting into a tiny piece of egg shell. The breakfast came with a mini muffin, which I didn't try, although it did look good. I didn't mention anything to my server because I had an appointment I needed to get to, and I didn't have time to send it back. I am confident that if I mentioned my little issues, they would have gladly made me a new breakfast. It was my choice not to say anything. My server was pleasant and efficient. One thing that did bother me more than anything is that my silverware was dirty. The fork actually had food stuck to it. I showed it to the server, and she quickly brought me out a replacement. It wasn't my servers fault as the silverware was rolled up in a napkin. Three stars because I was given dirty silverware, bit into an egg shell, and found a hair in my potatoes. The food has always been good here, so I will definitely return at some point.

Great breakfast spot for a hungry appetite.

Delicious breakfast today. Lots of food! Got there around 8:30 am on a Tuesday with plenty of seating and by the time we left it was filled. I had 2 eggs and bacon and it came with 4 slices of bacon, a bagel and oatmeal. Oatmeal was delicious! My husbands Western Omlette was huge! Falling off the plate! We will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised that the terrible smell that had smacked me on the face upon opening the entrance door was finally gone. The hostess sat us at a table and took our drink order. I asked if I could get the pastrami with cheese on a croissant as the bread was toasted too hard my last visit. I also opted for onion rings as my side. I was delighted with the look of my plate when it arrived. Pastrami looked and tasted absolutely perfect on the light and fluffy croissant. I even got a side of Russian dressing to add a hint of spice to everything. Toojays has certainly redeemed themselves in my eyes and I look forward to my next visit.

I decided to get matzah ball soup and half a corned beef sandwich on rye. The soup was very good. And it was served first, and was hot in a small bowl. My husband really liked his beef cabbage soup, too. My sandwich, however, was awful. The bread was decent, but the meat tasted so processed -- like baloney. After we pointed it out, the manager told me it had been cut wrong (with the grain). He cut some more corned beef "correctly" and brought it back. It still wasn't very good. Slightly better, but I told my husband it could have been canned ham. The manager said they changed suppliers a few years back. I think they need to change again. My husband's chopped liver was a much better choice. It came with lettuce and tomato. Oh, and of the sides, I liked the red bliss potato salad better than their coleslaw -- which had a lot of mayo in it. Bottom line -- come for breakfast or deli, but skip the corned beef.

The Lobster Salad Melt was definitely a popular choice. The complimentary added pickles made the meal perfect. Our server, Tyra, was great! She had a great attitude and made sure that we had everything we needed right down to the take home containers for our leftovers since the portions are so big. Everything we ordered was delicious and I was a little skeptical when I looked at the ingedients because it seemed like there was a lot of colorful fillers in the whitefish (and all their salads that are scooped) but it worked to give an added flavor but not over powering the fish flavor. The restaurant was clean and definitely could tell that it had been around for a long time. I got a box of 6 pastries for the family. When I tell you everything is made from scratch and your taste buds can tell, I mean it. Here's the lineup: passion fruit kouign-amann - give her the 10s. This was hands down the best pastry we got. It has a nice caramelized crust (like a croissant) that balances the passion fruit filling's slight tartness. Seriously, try it. orange olive oil cake (loaf) - ok, the candied orange on top is DELISH. The loaf is moist, not too sweet, and the orange zest really gives it a flavor close to a loaf I had in Santorini! Vanilla bean custard: tastes like a pastel de nata- an excellent one at that. This filling is silky, creamy, and dreamy custard. Carrot cake croissant: this is like taking a bite into the fall season. Great croissant, and the filling is literal carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The spice profile is so warm and cozy. Raspberry hibiscus vegan bundt - I loved that you could really taste the floral note with the raspberry. I can't believe it's vegan! It is just as soft as the olive oil cake. Raspberry cheesecake danish: It's good. The raspberry jam is clearly made fresh (peep the seeds in it), cream cheese layer pairs well with the jam. But it falls short relative to the other pastries in the box.
