I stopped by common grounds on a Sunday morning for a little catch up session with some friends. There was plenty of space inside and we chose the comfortable couches. They play some nice and calm music which creates a comfy and cozy atmosphere. The barista who took my order answered all my questions and I enjoyed my iced americano with sugar free vanilla cold foam and it was definitely high quality espresso beans used to make it. I also shared the almond croissant which was delicious and flakey with the right amount of sweetness. My friend got a bagel sandwich which looked filling and delicious! We noticed lots of people coming into do some work and enjoy coffee time with family and friends. Next time I come I will definitely try the matcha and they offer several season flavors and drinks. This coffee shop was so cute! I was visiting from out of town and found the atmosphere to be inviting. Lots of people working remotely enjoying the space. I order a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and it was perfection. I had also ordered an iced vanilla latte which was also very good. Okay, the only thing I can say about this place is that I'm genuinely upset! I live in Port St. Lucie, and Common Grounds is in West Palm Beach, which makes me furious because I discovered this place yesterday and had the best coffee of my life. I absolutely hate the fact that they don't have a location closer to my house The flavor, the creaminess, the lack of acidity, the aroma... it's impossible to put into words how incredible their coffee is. The shop itself is peaceful and inviting, with board games, books, and plenty of space to relax. The service was also excellent. Right in the heart of the design district this cafe offers great coffee & food with a decent amount of seating. Loved the old school music & vibes of this place. The cappuccino held its foam & espresso was bold and not bitter at all. My husband got an Americano which was also very, very good. This would be a great place to meet up with friends, get some quick work in on your laptop or even read a book. There's a parking lot & plenty of off street parking in front as well. I love Common Grounds. It's a cozy, comfy space with great coffee, friendly staff, and yummy food. It's on the pricey side but worth it.

Perhaps the best cold brew on the planet. Smooth and flavorful, rather than acidic and brutal. They roast on the premises, but it's such a well ventilated machine you'd never know it. Chill atmosphere. A fave hang of college students from Palm Beach Atlantic. Beats the 'Bucks, a mediocre Minerva, down the street. Probably also the best location in the chain. read more

I've been a patron of the Lake Worth location over the years, but this was my first experience at the West Palm Beach spot. It was a great experience! I met my daughter and grandson around the noon hour on a Saturday. I enjoyed an iced oat milk latte with pumpkin cold foam and she ordered a flavored iced latte. I also ordered a slice of the pumpkin streusel bread and she opted for an almond croissant. The bread was scrumptious and a little goes a long way. I shared it with a few peeps over the course of a couple of days. My daughter loves the almond croissant and after trying it, I totally comprehend why. It's epic! I like the set-up and space this venue offers. Additionally, the service was excellent. We took advantage of the community table during our visit. Finally, the restroom was clean and parking isn't a chore. I'll definitely visit again when in the area. read more

I'm already a fan of Common Grounds for their Boynton location. So, this is the same fantastic coffee! The espresso really shines- not bitter or too acidic, it's strong but just right. Especially in an americano. The decaf coffee is probably the best I've had. It's amazing for the late afternoon coffee kick. For lattes- The wunderbar is a great winter seasonal. It's more on the sweet side. My og fave is the abuelita, a mocha with mexican chocolate. The matcha is presweetened, which most people prefer. To me, it's alright. The espresso is def the star of the show. For food, I love the Sunrise (vegetarian) on a croissant! It's awesome that they do breakfast all day. Açaí and yogurt bowls are also offered. Along with a variety of pastries. The orange olive oil pound cake is a must! At this location, I especially love the set up of the cafe. There's plenty of seating spread out. Plus, plenty of outlets for your work/study needs! People say the WiFi is dodgy, but I honestly haven't had any problems. Maybe for video calls. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! A lovely and cozy coffee shop in a nice city in South Florida (West Palm Beach). The menu has a limited, but delicious, selection of cold and hot coffee drinks and some pastries. We tried the cafe miel (latte with cinnamon and honey) and the coconut and carrot cake. They were all delicious! The vibe is awesome, the service is friendly, and there is plenty of street free street parking. If you are not familiar with the location, the GPS will take you straight to it. Not sure how this coffee shop has only 2 other reviews because it's actually my favorite in South Florida. The environment is perfect with natural light coming in the huge windows and comfortable seating everywhere. There are perfect coffee shop nooks across the shop, and I love the community piano that people can sign. Their pastries are great as well as the coffee! I have been here twice and I love that it's in a live-work building. There's free parking and it's a great place to hang out, work and study. On Sunday, I was studying in the back and went to the bathroom. When I came back I realized the floor was soaking wet. I thought the people next to me had spilled something. The girl next to me had her backpack on the floor and I had my charger on the floor. She got a lot of her stuff ruined and I had to buy a new charger because the end of it was on the floor and got soaked. I alerted the barista and noticed he was mopping in the back so it made sense that there was a leak but structurally, this should not be happening. I understand things happen but the barista was not apologetic at all about the situation. He had no sense of urgency to clean it up. He just told us to move so I left. He doesn't seem outright rude, just very dry and like he doesn't care or he may be depressed. The other baristas have been friendly. As for the interiors, this place is definitely missing something. They could benefit by adding some art on the walls. The chairs are cheap and I thought the chair I was using was just put together wrong so I switched it out but I realized they're all like that. First off, I love this coffee shop and frequent it often. So why the review? I'm all for individuality as many of their workers dress. But, today, there was a new worker hired behind the counter. It was a male wearing "a black female negligee, see-through sequence top!" Maybe a transvestite, maybe not...I don't care. Look, feel free to dress how you wish at a club or rave, in private, etc. But I'll be damned if I'll spend my hard earned money, father and daughter time or even my personal time in any establishment who endorses this dress code at the workplace. Female or male. Is Common Ground a strip club now? I don't know if this kid simply took a risk today or if management condones this in their workplace? It's nonsense. You do not dress as such in any work environment. Period! And if I see this again I will take my business from Common Grounds to other small business coffee shops.
