Quite small and quaint. It gets pretty packed during lunch hours so be prepared to wait. They don't have someone at the cash register since they are occupied making orders so I can see how it can get backed up. Drift has been on my must try local list for quite some time. My coworkers and I finally gave it a whirl a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was a grab and go situation and they were very busy so we didn't have ample time to really take in the vibe. In the short time we were there, we grasped a feel for the baked goods and merch. Each of us placed an order for a beverage and a snack. I ordered the Drift latte and opted for an iced version with oat milk but light on the syrup being I don't like my drinks too sweet. I paired this with a slice of banana bread. I didn't realize it was chocolate chip banana bread when I ordered it. I'm not hating on chocolate chips, but I prefer basic when it comes to banana bread. I had a few bites and pawned the remainder on my grandson a few days later. He was in his glory! My friend's husband opted for the blueberry muffin and she ordered a chocolate chip with sea salt cookie. We shared so we would each be able to try everything and hands down, the blueberry muffin was the best by a landslide. All were in agreement. I have to say the baked goods actually tasted better than they looked. Not that they looked bad, I just didn't have high expectations based on their appearance. My latte was very good and I would order it again. I wish I would've had a larger size. In summary, we were very pleased and I would definitely visit again but not rush back. read more

Went once before I headed home. It wasn't bad but also nothing to brag about. They were pretty busy when we visited but we were still able to get a table outside where there were about 3 or 4 others. The shop itself is small, but there is a small bench on the inside if you want to wait. The sandwich took some time to get ready along with my spouses order which did lead me to ask where the rest of our breakfast was. The sandwich was ok but the croissant itself seemed fresh which made it better. The dirty chai was really good and only helped that it had some caffeine/coffee in it. This place came highly recommended from the internet and its certainly popular in the area with a line out to the street all day. I normally don't like to wait anywhere but the weather was nice and I was stranded since I took an uber there so I figured might as well. The line moved decently fast considering how long it was. I ordered a honey hazelnut matcha latte and it was some of the best I have had. It was sweet without being overpowering and I could still taste the great quality of the matcha. It's located one block away from the beach which I love because I can grab my coffee and food and head straight to the beach. The avocado toast was so delicious. It has pickled red onions and some feta cheese on the top. If you want to eat there they also have outdoor tables and chairs. The vibe is super cute and relaxing. Not a lot of seating outside and most of it says it is reserved for the hotel guests next door, so don't plan on staying to eat your food. Smoothie (sunrise) was ok but mostly just tasted like frozen orange juice. No strawberry flavor. Bedner's smoothies are better and cheaper in my opinion. Prices are mild and there is just an all around goodness to the place that makes you want to be a part of it. They opened two weeks ago in the middle of summer. It should be d-e-a-d. However, every time I go in, there are more customers in Drift than in the massive BrickTops restaurant next door that has been there for years. Tasted great, but contained a lot of ice, the entire cup was filled to the top with ice, which was a little annoying, saying as though it's a pretty expensive café.
