Jen, took me slowly through the jewelry store pointing out key designers and pieces of interest. She even made a wish list for my husband. I am sure he is going super happy about that. Smile. Immediately what is striking is the unique chandeliers, paintings and modern furnishings. It truly looks like the building inside has been extracted from Paris. Jen humored me by showing me a $1M necklace, way way out of my price range. The Korman jewelry was absolutely exquisite. Fortunately, they have some affordable pieces as well. There is a luxurious bridal room to discuss bridal pieces. This room is warm, inviting and aesthetically pleasing. I love the vibe of this store. Please note it is a little tricky to get to. I stopped by today and met Chuck (on-site master jeweler), who explained the initial cut on the clasp was indeed to fortify the hinge and secure the integrity of the lock. That being said, Chuck offered to fix the clasp by leveling it (made it symmetrical) and placed a new 18K stamp at no extra cost. Overall very pleased with the follow up work. I first walked into Korman in February 2023 after getting engaged. I met with Eric and he was very friendly and let him know I was interested in purchasing my first Rolex (either an Oyster Perpetual or a Datejust). My wife was buying the watch for me for our wedding that was about 15 months away at the time. We were hoping that given that amount of lead time that Eric could help us celebrate this milestone with a Rolex. Unfortunately as time went on I started to realize that the only way I was going to obtain a watch from Korman was by purchasing other jewelry/watches that I wasn't interested in. I decided to try my luck at Ben Bridge at the Domain and within 3 months they were able to secure me the Datejust I was looking for before the wedding. I also was able to get an Oyster Perpetual from an AD at the bellagio in Las Vegas without being on the list for more than 6 weeks. We wanted to get another watch to celebrate our newborn and they helped me right away. This really left a bad taste in my mouth with Korman, it has been 2.5 years now and they still haven't reached out to me with a watch. I even read reviews of people that bought jewelry from Korman and within weeks had Rolexes offered to them. My husband Jackie and I decided to stop in one day to look at wedding bands. We came on a Saturday morning and it wasn't super busy but it definitely picked up as we were shopping. The door is usually locked and you have to ring the doorbell so an associate can let you in and we were warmly greeted by Eric F. who helped us. Eric showed us all of the men's wedding bands, answering all of our questions thoroughly about the metals, sizing, timing, etc. and we never felt rushed or pressured. We ended up buying a platinum wedding band for my husband that day. Eric also noticed my husbands watch and they started talking about watches. Wanted to share a great experience with Kormans. They serviced my Rolex some 4.5 years ago. I recently discovered that it was no longer keeping time. So I gave them a call and stopped by the store. I was greeted by a gentleman named Elijah who quickly determined my watch needed to be further examined. He explained the process, gave me a receipt and let me know they would be in touch. Be alert that Korman will not disclose what Rolex will do with your watch when serviced. Rolex destroyed an after market bezel that had been on a ladies Rolex watch over twenty years while cleaning the watch. Repeat they did not take it off and replace it, they replaced it with an inferior bezel and destroyed a diamond studded bezel without any warning that this is how this condition would be handled. I recently brought in 2 projects to Korman and had the pleasure of working with Nina to find a solution for both. The first project, a treasured (but very humble) locket with a broken chain, was handled with such care and respect that you'd think it was the hope diamond! The chain repair only took a couple days and when it was returned to me by Nina, she gave me helpful tips on caring for it to prevent future breaks. My second project, a pendant missing a chain, was also handled SO smoothly and easily that I kind of felt like something was wrong! I had a brief conversation with Nina about what I was looking for, and from that she was able to suggest a new chain for my pendant that would be sturdy enough to wear every day while also being pretty and feminine. I told her my budget and she said she would look into options. In only a day or so, she texted me with an option for my replacement chain that was exactly what I wanted at a reasonable cost. I should be picking it up later this week.
