We had the tenderloin and ribeye, and both were tender and flavorful. The banchan and soup were great too. Service from our server was excellent. I'm visiting Atlanta to see my parents and really enjoyed this Korean BBQ spot.

I've driven by here so many times but never stopped in. Tonight my mother saw a giant banner that said "30% off dinner, including Korean BBQ" and so we decided to head over. They're in the process of upgrading some of their grill tech, so we got a table that was not set for tabletop grilling. No problem, I have been beat from working all week. We got the combination C for the three of us, which was 3 different kinds of meat, including the Cadillac of KBBQ, marinated short rib. The side dishes are plentiful, they'll refill you when you need it or ask for it. We got a soy bean soup with our meal, big enough for us to all have a small bowl. Kimchi fried rice also delivered with the meat so that we could really get stuffed. Service here was great! Good tasty food and with the deal, not too bad! Support small businesses!

I just tried this place and I would definitely recommend it. We got the Combo E for the 4 of us and it was really filling. One of my favorite was the short rib. The sides were really good especially the kimchi. We also got Ddubboki with was okay in my opinion I probably wouldn't get it again. The prices are pretty on par I would say maybe a little higher than usual. The service was great they were really patient and even cooked our meats for us. They also were kind enough to let us take our time even though they were closing. The atmosphere is really nice the tables have tons of space. I would definitely come again. Would recommend for groups.

More like 3.5/5 stars but I rounding up to 4 because I know this opened not long ago. If you're looking for a solid, traditional Korean restaurant in Suwanee that isn't all-you-can-eat BBQ, Korea Garden is a great option. They offer a full menu covering a wide variety of Korean staples -- everything from soondubu to daegu tang (codfish soup), wide mouth bass soup, potato soup, and various cuts of beef and pork. What really sets Korea House apart is the banchan. They're delicious, plentiful, and yes -- they do refill them! Honestly, the banchan alone is worth coming for; it's probably the best part of the meal. This was the highlight of the restaurant I actually would come back for banchan but I docked off 1.5 stars because the two soups (main entrees) were disappointing Another plus is the service button on the table, which alerts the waitstaff when you need anything -- super convenient and responsive. Price-wise, it's right in line with other Korean spots in the area -- not overly pricey but not cheap eats either. You're paying a bit more than Duluth because this area is in the wealthiest part of Gwinnett. I had the seafood soondubu and it came out mildly hot with a rich, fermented flavor -- a strong fish sauce like the taste I had in yeh tuh down in doraville smell that might be bold for some. Personally, I'm used to the cleaner gochuhang powder flavor from spots like BCD Tofu House or Sogongdong, so this was a little different -- more rustic, more traditional. I also have a feeling my soup was reheated and not fresh. This is why I docked 2 stars. I have consumed over 100+ bowls of seafood soondubu to tell what the standard should be. My girlfriend had the kimchi soondubu and I gave her a heads-up beforehand I knew she won't slurp it up like sogongdong or jang su jang.the kimchi stews are usually made with well-fermented, even sour kimchi -- definitely more pungent than the fresher stuff served as banchan. She agreed it was intense but flavorful. The server asked did she like it all, and she said yes it's good. Overall, if you're craving an authentic Korean sit-down meal with standout banchan and a wide menu selection, Korea House is absolutely worth trying. Just be ready for the bold, home-style flavors!

Incredible! Gourmet! And AMAZING panchan! Literally some of the best Korean food I've ever experienced even after being married to a Korean woman for 31 years and visiting Korean restaurants all around the world! Love the friendly staff and contemporary vibe too!

The food was delicious and lots of selections on the menu to choose from. I ordered the seafood spicy soup with noodles. It was so yummy but not spicy enough. Glad they brought out some spicy sauce. The dish was tasty and full of flavor. My husband ordered the Hot Pot Bimbimbap. That was flavorful but a little crusty at the bottom which we were told but my husband wanted to try it. The seaweed soup that came with it was delicious. Service was impeccable all around. Our server Arry was very attentive and kept making sure our needs were taken care of and also that we were enjoying our meal. We would definitely return to this place to try the other dishes. Finally, the restaurant was cozy and there was not many customers. I highly recommend this place for good Korean food and hospitality.

-5 stars for service!! waitress knew what we wanted without even having to ask (i.e. sharing plates/getting to go box/etc! -they have sotbab which I really enjoyed -nothing much to say about the interior; looks clean -some of their apps aren't made in house--they're frozen and reheated (takoyaki for example) -blue crab soup was my fav dish--perfectly spicy and a lot of crab -person who got kimchi fried rice said it was on the sweeter side but this is a personal preference -bibimbap is mid nothing too crazy -kongnameul gukbap was flavorful; a little salty for me -would come here again to try other things-menu is quite big

Parking is available right by the restaurant. We went for their lunch special. It was very busy when we arrived, but luckily we were seated right away by the bar. They have a full bar, but kinda pricey. We were offered hot barley tea upon sitting down. There is a good range of options on their lunch special ranging between $10-$15 in price. The eel one seemed very popular! Spicy beef stew: very flavored and good amount of heat. There isn't a lot of meat but it was the good quality of meat. Short rib and cabbage soup: nice flavoring, light enough to drink it all! The meat was tender. A bit hard to get off on certain areas though. The side dishes were all delicious! I loved how fresh the kimchi was. Was kind of funny that each of our soup entrees also came with a cabbage soup as a side too. Both came with the hot rice (be careful and don't put your spoon or chopsticks on it. It does get pretty hot in the beginning). Overall really enjoyed it and will be back to try more!

    Potato Jeon ($10)
    Ashley K.

This review is solely about their entrees for lunch, not the meat or bbq. FOOD: Potato Jeon ($10) - Had a huge craving for this and was thoroughly satisfied. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I love that they don't blend their potato mix down so that the pancake (Jeon) has texture. Ricecake & Mandoo Soup ($16) - They make their own dumplings (Mandoo) so loved that the dumpling skin was not too thick. The beef bone broth is amazing, so rich in flavor, but a smidge too over seasoned. Bean Paste Stew ($15) - This was good as well, but nothing really stood out other than that they give you a bit more meat. SERVICE: The menu is on a tablet or you can scan a QR code and view it on your phone. The owners, I believe, were very friendly and attentive. Overall, the taste and quality is good, but still very overpriced for just entrees. It's a bummer they don't do lunch specials for a bit discounted prices. I would recommend going if you were going for the BBQ and get additional entrees from there.

The location, awesome reviews, and photos made it a no-brainer. My lunch companion and I decided to share the queso fundito and shrimp empanadas and both were great. The queso fundito came with roasted corn and a garlic toast while the shrimp empanadas were plated on top of a bed of salad. The empanadas were a nice size and I would totally order these just for myself for lunch. I added a shrimp tempura taco to round out my meal. It was juicy, a bit spicy because of the jalapeno mayo, and overall a nice way to end my meal. I'll wrap this up by congratulating them on landing a spot on Yelp's Best New Restaurants list for 2025. Only 100 businesses in the ENTIRE country get on the list - so this is huge. Based on my experience, well deserved. Definitely give them a visit soon!

The cauliflower appetizer was a hit with everyone and the portion was huge. I personally would have preferred it to be cooked a little less, as it was quite soft. The patatas bravas were decent. The tres leches cake was excellent and came as a generous slice. The milk was served on the side, which we poured over the cake. We shared it among six people, and it was just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. Our server was very friendly, and the restaurant itself is really cute. Around 7pm on Saturday evening, just as we were leaving, a man and woman started performing live music with vocals and guitar. We were on our way to the Lou Sobh Amphitheater (just a quick walk over) to see a cover band, which made for a fun night out. This whole area in Cumming is a great place to hang out.

We only did appetizers and drinks here because it is on the pricier side, but well worth it. Sitting at the bar, we got to chat with the bartender a bit too. He was friendly and even let us know of his own dry cleaning business which was great for my friend who is new to the city. For drinks, I can't recall the name of the pink drink. It's relatively new to their menu. It has passion fruit and is comparable to a Pornstar Martini x Pink Lemonade. The other is an Iberian Old Fashioned - a stronger smokey drink, but can definitely taste the bacon on the back end. If you want a table you may have to wait, but we were able to walk straight up to the bar. It was kind of a lot, but that's also due to the menu, which took me awhile to decide on what to eat. Our server was attentive and helpful. We had questions, and he answered to the best of his abilities. He also brought out chips and sauces while we were looking through the menu and described each sauce. We liked the jalapeno and garlic ones the most! The arepa tour was a nice way to try different flavors without having to commit to one choice. The arepas tasted good, though I definitely preferred some over others. If you are not a savory and sweet enjoyer, I would not recommend Pabellon as you can taste the fried plantain in each bite. I liked it, but my friend found it an odd combination. I wasn't the biggest fan of shredded chicken, but that's bc it's typically dry, and while this wasn't super dry, it wasn't exactly as flavorful as the other options. For the main course, the asado negro sounded right up my alley as the arepa version went into detail with how the beef is braised in red wine and sugar cane. It left much to be desired when I ordered the big plate non-arepa version. Just off looks, it wasn't as visually appealing as others' dishes were. Eating it... well, the meat was very, very dry. The sauce was fine, but it didn't help with the dryness of the meat. I most likely ordered wrong since everything else was great. I got quesillo for dessert, which was described as flan, and I found it pretty good. Thicker than I'm used to and not as smooth but with a lovely cinnamon flavor.

The dining area looked clean and well-kept, and the hostess/cashier was genuinely friendly--she took the time to walk us through the menu, drinks, sauces, and even the different pickles, which I appreciated. We ordered the brisket, ribs, mac & cheese, green beans, two sauces (both free), house and spicy pickles (also free), and a Banana Cream Soda. 2 Slices of Brisket - $9 (3.5/5): The brisket was solid overall--tender with a nice, juicy interior and a lightly smoky aroma that came through in each bite. It wasn't dry at all, which is always a win, though it could've had a bit more depth in flavor on its own. That said, it really came alive when paired with the spicy sauce, which added a bold, tangy kick that elevated the meat nicely. 2 Pork Spare Ribs - $7 (4/5): These were definitely a highlight. The ribs were beautifully seasoned with a savory, slightly sweet rub that formed a flavorful crust on the outside. The meat was incredibly tender--so much so that it fell clean off the bone with just a fork, no effort needed. Juicy, rich, and super satisfying, especially with the spicy sauce adding an extra layer of heat and tang. Mac & Cheese - $4.50 (4/5): Very impressive side. The spiral noodles were cooked perfectly--tender but still holding their shape, not mushy at all. What stood out most was the texture: there was a subtle crunch on top, possibly from a light breadcrumb or rice-based topping, which added a nice contrast. The cheese sauce was creamy, rich, and coated every curve of the spirals, so each bite had these little pockets of cheesy goodness that almost "popped" with flavor. The sprinkle of green onions on top added a fresh, slightly sharp brightness that cut through the richness and made the dish feel surprisingly refreshing. Green Beans - $4.50 (3.5/5): These had a great bite to them--crisp-tender with a fresh, vibrant texture. The seasoning was flavorful with a savory base, but what surprised me most was the subtle heat that built up as you ate more. It wasn't overpowering, just a nice, unexpected kick that made them more interesting than your typical side. House Pickles (free) - 2/5: These were very crunchy and had a sharp, vinegary tang that leaned heavily on the sour side. While they were fresh and crisp, the flavor felt a bit one-dimensional and overly acidic for my taste. Spicy Pickles (free) - 4/5: Much better balance here. Still nice and crunchy with that same sour backbone, but the added heat gave them a bold, zesty edge that made them way more enjoyable. The spice lingered just enough to keep you reaching for another. Banana Cream Soda - $2 (2.5/5): This was light, fizzy, and refreshing with a smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel. The banana flavor was present but very subtle--more of a faint, artificial sweetness than a rich, ripe banana taste. It leaned more toward a mellow vanilla-cream soda vibe with just a hint of banana in the background. Not bad, just a bit underwhelming if you're expecting a bold, dessert-like banana flavor. Overall, a solid BBQ spot with friendly service and some standout items--especially the ribs and mac & cheese. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for a laid-back, no-frills lunch.
