Kool Vision Window Tinting - Outside of the car with tint - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Winnetka, California

After coming here for over 8 years bringing numerous cars and sending referrals I got the worst customer service experience ever, I was quoted over twice the price with no consideration to my loyalty and continuous business to Kool Vision. When I brought up Axel there previous employee the person speaking only stated " well he's no longer with us and he was not the manager nor boss" in the rudest manner. I came by excited to update my vehicle but thanks for a wake up call, business will be taken elsewhere folks. read more

Very fast, excellent service, great price. Gave me exactly what I wanted without questioning me. I'm a woman and a lot of car-related businesses have been condescending and unhelpful, but this one was 100% great. Will be recommending them and hopefully coming back for more services! read more

So, I was quoted 2 windows tint over the Yelp messaging. We scheduled appointment and all was set till I actually came on location. I checked in with the guy working there and after he confirmed my appointment, he informed me about higher price. I explained to him that I have a price quote over the Yelp messaging, he read it and he said that it would be ok except this is "cash" quote and for the credit card, there is an additional fees. No where during the my communication through messaging that was ever brought up to me. Anyway, since I was already there I did agreed to additional fees to pay via credit card. Installer worked fast, before he applied the film, he pointed out some small scratches on one of the windows, and that was appreciated. Once the job was completed, I inspected it and I noticed on another window small specks under the tint film. I showed it to the installer and he said not to worry and wait couple of days and if those won't go away they o come back. I insisted that those specks were not just bubbles, those were some dirt particles and that I do not want to coming back for something that is already visible as a problem. With big disappointment, the installer agreed to fix it. And that was done! I just wish that company's quote would be more accurate and their customer service would be more polite to the immediate concerns. read more

I called less than a week ago to get a quote for my car to tint the windows and they told me it was $395. Now that I have time today, I decided to call and confirm the quote that they gave me so I can go in and tint my windows. So when I called today to get a price, they told me $450. I asked them about the price that they just quoted me a few days ago and they told me they don't recall ever giving out that price for tinting windows. I would think a business would have a fixed pricing system and would honor the price they already quoted me for but I guess not this business. Not to mention I've already taken 2 vehicles there in the past. No thanks. read more

Scheduled an appt through Yelp. They were very responsive and accommodating when I had a family emergency and had to reschedule. Finally got the tint done today and it looks great! They were really nice, explained my options and finished quickly. I also like that they have great reviews but they didn't pressure or ask me for a review. It lets me know that the reviews are really genuine like mine. A plus is that they are just around the corner from my house! read more

I've done my tint work here before and they did a great job a several years ago. This time around they seem to rush through the job and rush the tint install which left small scratches and bubbles. I believe they need to pay attention to detail and slow down to make sure they reduce the imperfections. In other words if they notice a large scratch remove the tint and redo the work before it dries. Trust me attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Lastly, the installer said 1 to 2 hours and he was done in less than an hour. That is proof that they rushed to move on to the next customer. read more

They got over on the price thats what I get for being impatient not waiting until the following day where I had an appointment scheduled already . $360 for two windows with the front 6 inch eyebrow strip same film two other locations less than $200. Been going to this Kool Vision for 5+ years. Got a 5 Series BMW tinted ($250) recommended my girl get her 3 series tinted ($250) got my 2019 Charger RT tinted ($250) all those experiences have been magnificent. I was on my way to being a customer for life. Then I traded in my old charger and got a new charger. Called them told them I got a new charger (essentially the same exact car as before and they said oh yea the price on that car is $390. I said it's the same exact car no more tint or special changes he said that's the price there's nothing they can do. I felt like they were trying to milk me because I had a new car they thought I had money. Went to tint master city down the street got the same tint for $250. Don't let these tint spots try to tax you. Shop around see your options. Lost a customer for life. Update per owners response: I called Saturday May 21st about tinting my 2022 Charger Scat Pack. Prior to that in 2019 I had you tint a 2019 Charger RT. Whoever answers the phone said my new car has "special panels" and will be $140 more expensive. I said it's the same car, you said no it's not. How would you check records of any past tint jobs you don't know my name or phone number? Ask your staff who called Saturday about a 2022 Charger. read more

Called and made a same day appointment! 5 windows done with regular tint for less than what the other people are pricing it ; ). I had great customer service as soon as I walked up. I was explained the process and the different shades of tint. He told me it would take about 2 hours and it took about an hour totally. I asked to add the windshield strip in the front. I really love that they put the sticker on your windows button to remind you NOT to roll them down. I definitely recommend! Cash is always preferred. read more

Brought in my 2016 Civic for a full tint job, requested a quote and received a fair price in 5 minutees, set up an appointment for the next day, and the job was done literally in under an hour (although I was told an approximate 2 hours of wait time) Inside there was a clean waiting room with wifi, water and a TV, and before I knew it the job was done masterfully and my car had never looked as good before. The job was done flawlessly and there isn't one thing I wasn't 100% satisfied with. I'd recommend having cash handy when going in for the job. read more
