Brought car in and chose ceramic tint on ALL windows for the high benefits it offers more then normal tint including blocking heat. Not only did it look super great when I got the car but driving off I instantly noticed the huge difference. In LA usually the sun above goes through the sun roof and I feel the heat and often have to close the roof. But I had to look up few times to check if sun was directly over still cause I felt nothing and loved the dark sunset feeling inside the car. Finally got around to it. Went for the ceramic/highest grade option for the windscreen, driver & passenger windows. The difference is truly noticeable, heat inside greatly reduced plus hopefully the UV aspect also- the main reason for dong it.. Added bonus it makes the car look way edgier than before. Decided to go with Kool Vision based on other reviews and glad we did. It took maybe an hour to complete the job. Really pleased with the quality of work & would not hesitate to recommend Kool Vision if you're looking for a window tint. Was a great price and worth every penny. read more

I have to agree with a lot of the other users here on Yelp. The quality is great, I have zero complaints about the tint job. I had it just done two days ago, so no idea about the warranty just yet. Hopefully the product lasts a long time. But, I'm highly annoyed at the business practices. Sketchy AF. We asked for a quote and received one for $195 quickly. The quick response was great and we were able to schedule a time super quickly. Dropped off the car and got it back within an hour. Again, the tint is awesome. Here's the annoying part...my husband paid with a credit card and they charged another $20 for "tax". LOL NO. Totally illegal. Charging 10% to use a credit card is NOT OK. This was never stated in the quote and wasn't posted anywhere. This just tells me you don't claim your cash earnings. Hard pass. I won't come back. Happy with the tint, but there are a lot of other tint places that work ethically. FYI: Cal. Civil Code §1748.: No retailer in any sales, service, or lease transaction with a consumer may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check, or similar means. A retailer may, however, offer discounts for the purpose of inducing payment by cash, check, or other means not involving the use of a credit card, provided that the discount is offered to all prospective buyers. Bottom line: just tell the customer you will be charging more to use a credit card. read more

November 2018: We found this place on yelp and it was everything all the yelpers mentioned. We called a lot of different tint shops and Axel told us the price for tinting, he didn't mention there were other more expensive options until I arrived for my appointment. I wish I had known there were more options so I could compare the prices accurately. When I arrived Axel explained the difference between ceramic and regular tinting. Other than the price difference, ceramic also protects you from the heat. I decided to go with regular tinting and my car looks amazing! 5% regular in the back 5% regular back doors 15% regular front doors Also, Axel told us it will take about 2.5 hours but he called us in 1.5 hours and it was done! If you want a beautiful tint job for your car, you'll be more than happy with Axel and his staff. read more

I just got my window tints done here after having a bad experience elsewhere and the guy made sure to show me the quality beforehand and the vin of the tint while he was installing! I'm very happy with the attentiveness and kindness of this place. I got autobahn ceramic i3 and it keeps the car very cool while being very clear visually.. if you call this place and walk in he has samples of the tints and will show u the difference in different lighting and the heat reduction with a special lamp. Requested a quote for my 24 Silverado, quoted $750 for ceramic tint. Advised that this would be the 4th car, and it didn't matter. I lease my cars so I have a new one every 2-3 years. It's not cool on that price at all, I understand you have a business to run, but 3 different places quote $350, which isn't even half of your quote. DO NOT BRING YOUR TESLA HERE. I brought my brand new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range here on Saturday. Ended up paying $650 for ceramic tint which does not include the roof. The tint on the back window was not done evenly, the edges were chopped and looked horrible and can be seen just sitting in the back seat. They left a huge water stain going across the top bar on the roof. I brought this to their attention and they asked me to come Monday at 1pm. I go in and they acted like nothing was wrong, then told me that it's really hard to do Teslas as if it's to be expected for the job to look choppy at the edges. Their excuse was that's it's hard to do Teslas, so I asked then why did you accept this job? I know it's hard to tint windows which is why I came in and paid them $650 to do it. They then told me I have to make an appointment to have them fix it, but did not take it when they told me to come in today. They tried to schedule it weeks from now and not allowing me to bring it on weekend so will have to take more time off work to fix the job they did. Horrible experience. I should have went to other vendors and maybe would not have this problem and giving me the run around. I waited to leave a review to see how they would handle this and well there it is. Unfortunately would not recommend this place and definitely DO NOT BEING YOUR TESLA HERE. Will provide update depending on how they fix this. read more

I called less than a week ago to get a quote for my car to tint the windows and they told me it was $395. Now that I have time today, I decided to call and confirm the quote that they gave me so I can go in and tint my windows. So when I called today to get a price, they told me $450. I asked them about the price that they just quoted me a few days ago and they told me they don't recall ever giving out that price for tinting windows. I would think a business would have a fixed pricing system and would honor the price they already quoted me for but I guess not this business. So, I was quoted 2 windows tint over the Yelp messaging. We scheduled appointment and all was set till I actually came on location. I checked in with the guy working there and after he confirmed my appointment, he informed me about higher price. I explained to him that I have a price quote over the Yelp messaging, he read it and he said that it would be ok except this is "cash" quote and for the credit card, there is an additional fees. No where during the my communication through messaging that was ever brought up to me. Anyway, since I was already there I did agreed to additional fees to pay via credit card. Installer worked fast, before he applied the film, he pointed out some small scratches on one of the windows, and that was appreciated. Once the job was completed, I inspected it and I noticed on another window small specks under the tint film. I showed it to the installer and he said not to worry and wait couple of days and if those won't go away they o come back. I insisted that those specks were not just bubbles, those were some dirt particles and that I do not want to coming back for something that is already visible as a problem. With big disappointment, the installer agreed to fix it. And that was done! I just wish that company's quote would be more accurate and their customer service would be more polite to the immediate concerns. read more

Be smarter and have better patience than me.
