I'm back at Tint Master City for a reason! They tinted my previous car three years ago, and the job was flawless--it looked amazing and held up perfectly through years of blistering summer heat. As a female customer, I really appreciate that I can trust this team. They are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but never pushy. They make the whole process feel comfortable and straightforward. This time around, they went above and beyond: they removed the old tint and CA HOV stickers from my previous vehicle and expertly tinted our new car. They made the entire transition so easy. This is officially our 'forever' tint shop--thanks again, guys! read more

Went here to get the front door windows of my Tesla re-tinted to give me a little more coverage from the Sun. I spoke with Robert over the phone who was very helpful and personable. I took my car in, the were quick, very clean waiting area and the price was super reasonable. I had called another place that quoted between $160 - $280, which was just high for no reason as that was close to what I paid for 4 windows. Anyway Robert and crew sis a phenomenal job for less than the minimum of what was quoted by another place. I highly recommend Tint Master City, they are truly masters of tinting. read more

Provender: I had an unpleasant experience here. Just look at the photographs. They offer three types of tint: standard, the middle grade, and ceramic tint. The ceramic is the most expensive of the three. I initially selected the standard, but was talked into the one above that. I came to the shop on a Saturday and had my front driver/passenger windows tinted. The driver's side had "bubbling," but the guy said that it would resolve by itself. It didn't. I had to return again the following week to get it fixed. Although there are no more "bubbles," there's now a vertical line and damage to my driver's side door. I simply can't recommend a place like this. Prices: the middle level tint for the front driver and passenger windows cost me approximately $100. Parking: there are a few parking spots along the shop front. People: drivers and others that want tinting. Perks: my experience may be a one-off, but when it comes to automotive services do you really want to be that one off? Also, when the bubbles were being removed I was told it would only take an hour. It took well over that time and I even had to call the shop to figure out if the tinting was fixed rather than them calling me like they promised. Lastly, during this Covid period, Robert briefly drove my car and wasn't wearing a mask. read more

I took my mom's car to get tinted a couple months ago as a Christmas present, and I wanted to wait to write my review until I saw how the tints held up. And 3 months in and it's still looking great! I would also like to add that our experience shopping for the service went really well. The business owner is very professional, punctual and polite. Would 100% come back here with more work for him if ever needed great experience! read more

I had my windows tinted a few months back, and the overall experience was great. I had spoken to Matt initially and set up an appointment for a couple days later and met Robert that day who took care of things with the team. Robert was easy to talk to, courteous, kind, and informative. He showed me a car which had been worked on just to see an example of what was done and about similarities I could expect; my car was a bit more wide bodied but showing me a couple things here and there was very neat of him. I ended up going with the Wincos, a nano-ceramic IR automative film and am pleased with the result. I did 20% all through the back with 45% (Robert's recommendation) in the front driver and passenger windows. So far so good! It took just a couple hours and I took a walk down the road to grab a bite and drink. When the car was done Robert even called me to let me know! Pricing was reasonable. read more

Spoke to Robert and scheduled an appointment to have my brothers girlfriend's tint done. Matt and Robert both helped us today when we got in. Both were very friendly and professional and straight forward. They didn't try to upsell us on anything and were very easy to deal with. Dropped the car off and got a call a few hours later to pick up the car. We are all very satisfied with the work done. Thanks so much. Was and will continue to be a return customer -Andrew read more

Matt and Robert are a great team. I got my 4Runner tinted recently with ceramic. They use quality films and a fair price. They do seem quite busy and my job took all day. But it turned out perfect. I don't mind waiting for quality work. The appointment was easy to schedule and Matt was able to answer any questions I had once I showed up. Multiple customers came in while I was waiting and you could see they were repeat customers and very happy with the work. My 4Runner looks great. Cuts are perfect and there is no damage to the interior of the car. I will be coming back and also recommending others to Matt and Robert! read more

I just had the windows tinted on my 2022 Prius Prime at this shop. All 4 side windows(including the smaller panels adjacent to them), and the rear window. All we're done with ceramic film for a total of $450. I couldn't find another shop that can anywhere near this price. The brand of film they use is Wilcos, which seems to be a good quality. They included a limited life-time warranty on fading/bubbling/cracking. One of the co-owners, Robert, walked me through the whole process. He was very professional and personable. He gave me a demonstration of the heat reduction for each grade of film they offer. I was very impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the staff. I will definitely be coming back, and would highly recommend this shop for anyone wanting an excellent product for a great deal! read more

Another new truck and another trip to Tint Master City. Robert goes above and beyond to provide quality work and amazing customer service. I asked for 5% all around except for the windshield. That I asked for ceramic 70%. I am highly satisfied with the outcome. Car feels so much cooler when you get in on our lovely Los Angeles 100°+ days. I do have somewhat of an OCD when it comes to evenness so I checked thoroughly for any imperfections and there were none. Thank you so much guys, I will be back again. read more

Tesla Model Y: I've been researching multiple tint shops and these guys are the most aggressive when it comes to pricing and the quality of your tint. I wanted a ceramic tint job that blocks out the most heat. I went with 10% on the two front doors and since my back windows were already factory tinted we put 20% back there to match. Go darker because the moon roof let's more light in from top. I also got the large windshield protected with a 70%. (The photo looks darker than it is in person) I researched the different tint manufacturesrs and Wincos is the highest rated when it comes to ceramic. Other tint shops charge way more for the name brand of 3M. These guys have been doing it for a long time and this is my second car done with them. Extremely happy overall. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Good business here with knowledgeable owners who care. read more

Spoke to Robert on the phone to get estimates and duration of services for my New Mazda CX-5. I only wanted to do 2 front windows cuz the back comes with factory tint. he said to come down and we can work on it ASAP. I went there on my lunch break to drop of my car and he said I can pick it up when I'm off work(before 6pm). He throughly explained the product and the process, at very reasonable price. I asked to match whatever the factory did on the back of the car. I must say they did a fantastic job. The windows looks great and made my CX-5 looks dark dark mean little car. I saw many reviews about this place, and I'm glad I went to them, they took a good care of my Cx-5, I highly recommend to do any auto tint job with them. Thanks Robert read more

I have a 2019 Civic Hatchback and trust me, it's no easy job. In order to be able to tint the back windshield, you have to go into the frame and remove the spoiler. I have gotten my car tinted here years ago and back then they did a great job. Recently got a new car and wanted to try their ceramic tint in order to dissipate the heat. My girlfriend and I both got full window ceramic tint and it made a huge difference. Now I don't have to wear sunglasses while driving on sunny days because the tint offers UV protection. I also save money on gas from using less A/C. Matt and Robert are great. read more

*** A safe, yet economical, way to help pimp your ride. *** Ok, I have been living in south bay for 2yrs now so why Yelp about an auto aftermarket garage in San Fernando valley? Well as I cleaned my car this weekend, I had to stop and marvel at how well my window tinting has withstood the sun, my dog and my window cleaning products as well. Window tinting is a nice esthetic but it's also functional. I'm not irritated by the numerous sunny days anymore. My black leather interior is no longer blazing hot when I get in the car in summer, and it's not dry or cracking. per Austin S, it prevents windows from shattering too should your car get involved in a rollover (God forbid). And lastly, a lil privacy when driving is kinda nice also. At first i thought it ridiculous to drive 50mi to get my ride tinted but now i consider it a well thought out investment. To tint all of my windows including backside and rear ones, it cost only $160. All work was performed as I waited 1hour! Fyi: periodically the ever friendly LAPD pulls me over for DWB (Driving While Black). But to their credit, they have not once mentioned anything about the tint of my driver side window. If they ever do, Tint Master will remove a tint for just $10. ;p *** So I'd recommend medium gray tint b/c it's smooth. *** read more
