Just bought my car yesterday and Axel was able to accommodate our window tint last minute the next day. We dropped off our new baby on a busy Saturday morning and it was ready within a couple hours. Axel is very kind and thorough. It was my first time tinting a car and he was patient to show me all the different varieties and benefits. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Axel! read more

I contacted Kool Vision shortly after getting my Model 3, but they originally didn't have a time slot immediately available for me within a day. However, they had a prior appointment cancel for a time that ended up working with me and they quickly got me scheduled in for that time. Overall, I an highly satisfied by the customer service alone and the tint applied onto my Tesla looks flawless. read more

Easy to make a Next day or late same day appointment. Prices were reasonable after getting basic quotes from 2 other shops. Base $170's. Appreciate any possible discounts. Ended up upgrading to base ceramics. Took less than expected time (less than 30-60mim). During that time i was treated to their waiting area with TV, phone chargers, water, AC! While I had my lunch and did work on my phone. Easy payment. Friendly sales people and technicians. Recommend! read more

I got my 2016 Hyundai Elantra tinted here when I had first got the car in 2015, I had no complaints and for two years the tints had no issues with peeling/bubbling/lightening. So when I bought my new car, my first choice was to go with Kool Vision. I called on a Monday morning at about 9:30, and got an appointment for 10:30 am. I hit a little bit of traffic so I had to call in and let them know I'd make it by 11, and they told me not to worry. When I finally got there, they were working on another car, but they were done in about 5 minutes and got to work on mine. I waited in the waiting room for about 45 mins, paid with cash (so no tax), talked about the aftercare of my tints, and left shortly after. LOVING my tints on my car for the affordable, fair price they offer. & customer service was good too! read more

Every time I've gone here, I've had a great experience. I lease my cars and every two years or so I need to tint my windows. They do fast-honest work, at a reasonable price. They're conveniently located on the corner of Winnetka and Saticoy, so while I wait I usually go to Carl's junior or Johnny Pacific for a quick bite. In the past my appointment usually last an hour up to an hour and a half depending on how many windows I need tinted. Axle has been very helpful and friendly. read more

Bought a new car. I REALLY don't like it when people have to do things to it when I'm not around. Wanted to get it my car tinted and heard good things about this place. Made an appointment and took it in. Of course a new car it's my baby, so I went all out. I spent about $1200 on the ceramic tint. A couple of days later, when I was detailing the car. I notice that there is damage on my front door panel. Of course it was hard to miss because it's on a corner. However just looking at, it looks like a the heat gun was there for a while and melted the vinyl to the plastics. Of course I had to sign a waiver that says they are not responsible for any damages. The funny thing is that they are the ONLY people that had my car without me around (Yes I should have just stayed). I Know I will not get anything out of this, but just wanted to express my frustration. The panel is about $250 from the dealership. My car was not even a month only. THE PROPLE THAT GO HERE!!!! Please make sure to look around at your car for lil things. I just don't want this to happen to you as it happened to me. I'm actually pissed now because every time I see it, IT REMINDS ME OF KOOL VISION F**K UP MY DOOR PANEL!!!! Lil advice ( who tinted my driver side) don't let the heat gun sit in one spot for a long time. Door panels are expensive! read more

I used Yelp to initiate a chat with this local business. Jackson was prompt to reply the same business day, answered all my questions and set me up with an appointment. On that day, it went as smooth as butter. He is very professional, friendly, honest, and definitely experienced. This is his company and it shows that he takes pride in that. I ended up purchasing the black ceramic film and was left without words when it was finished only a couple of hours later. Amazing job and the shop offers a lifetime warranty against bubbling and peeling. Highly recommended! read more

Inconsistent pricing. Came here to get our 4Runner tinted for 220 in October. Came again today for our new Q5 and they wanted to charge 250. When we told the guy that he only charged 200 for our previous car, he wanted proof of it. So we showed it to him and it was 220. He said that a 2009 van would cost 290 so him charging us 250 was a deal. Anyways, the guy here was just rude. I'm sure people out there are paying upwards 300 but you should know it's not worth it read more

I've now had two of my cars be tinted at this location, and I've got to say they do a phenomenal job. What an easy and great experience this was. I was a little worried since I've put this off for years, but this place had almost ALL 5 stars reviews. Now I see why. Super friendly and pleasant, was done in an hour and looks perfect. It was the price I was quoted, which is standard $195 plus tax. Thank you and so glad I finally did it! After researching many places for finding tint for my new 2015 mustang, I'm glad I decided to go with this place. The job was done within an hour (or maybe less) and I got 15% on the back windows and 35% in the front. Took a little bit of time for me to decide which tint to choose, but I decided to go with the Madico brand. The gentlemen (Sorry forgot the name) that was helping me out was very informative about the different kinds of tint on which does what and what kinda of protection you will get. They also have a display box with heat lamps to show the differences of heat reduction with various tints. They offer lifetime warranty guaranteed as long as you have the receipt (which will always remain in my glovebox of course), and will make sure the job is done right the first time. The prices they were asking were very reasonable in fact I felt like i got hooked up. :) I definitely will be coming back here again soon to get my wife's tint done on her car. Thanks again you guys for the awesome work. read more

I was at a tinting place near my house and was quoted a very cheap price but a 2 - 2 1/2 hour wait. I saw the levels and quality of the tint and was not impressed. I didn't want to pay for something that wasn't what I absolutely wanted. Called Kool Vision and they were able to set up an appointment to see me within an hour. Once I got there we went over what shade of tint I wanted on my 2015 Toyota Corolla S, 5% on the back and 35% on the front. Cindy walked me into the waiting room where she offered water. There is also a tv and a restroom in the waiting room. She explained that the tint has a lifetime warranty and explained what is covered. She was very nice and told me if there was anything else I needed to let her know. She comes into the waiting room not too long after she left and says my car is ready. We walk over to my car and she explains i shouldn't roll down my windows or wash them for 3-5 days and if I see any problems after that I can call and we can try to fix it or come in and fix it. I was in and out of there within 45 mins. Overall, I had a very good experience here and will definitely recommend them to people I know. read more

Kool Vision Window Tinting - Love how my car came out - 2015 Toyota Corolla S - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Winnetka, California

The number of cars my family has had tinted here is now 6, my Dad took my Mom's new ride here for the Ceramic since I have had zero complaints and she parks in Valley heat, too. Excellent quality still going strong! I will continue recommending this place. --------------------------------------- (Previous review) In the last 2 years, my family has had 5 cars tinted by Freddy and his crew! We have also referred many people to Kool Vision because we each (uncle, myself, dad) had such a great experience and want the same for others. My uncle's cars have very dark tint on the 5 main windows, and my dad got very dark and dark on his car and mom's van, respectively. They all look flawless! After doing some research on tint types, I opted for the nano-ceramic option for my own vehicle because I park in the outdoor, uncovered lots at CSUN and hated returning to an "oven"! I called about 5 shops in the San Fernando Valley and Kool Tint is priced very competitively. (I did get some $700+ quotes which seemed outrageous - I assumed they thought they could swindle a female. If you get this kind of rate for a sedan, run!) I picked 50% all the way around, and even did the windshield glass, probably 75% "This tint rocks" would be an understatement. The only time it starts to hit the preheating oven range, in my experience, is when the weather is above ~97° (give or take). I paid good, above average money on my car's tint job and I know I've already gotten my return a long time ago. A bit about the shop itself. Yes, it is right by an intersection. May look sketch to some but you are in good hands. The guys will come out to the car, one will walk you in and another will drive your car into the garage if you didn't already. They will show you all the kinds of tint they have and may do a demo. After you pick, Freddy will take you into the wait room off to the side. From there you have a complete visual of you car and installation. It all is equipped with air conditioning, a few tables, and a flat screen tv. I watched two episodes of Orange is the New Black while I waited. :) Once my car was done, Freddy walked me around the car and explained all the crucial post-tint instructions. I was set, paid, thanked the crew and was on my way! Final word: Make sure you call these guys when getting quotes. You won't be left unsatisfied. read more

Made an appointment to tint the front windows of my new Chevy Trailblazer. Arrived at 9 am and was quickly greeted by Axel who explained the process and showed me my options. After choosing the tint I wanted I was told we'd be ready in about 40 minutes so my husband and I walked across the street to food for less to kill some time. 40 minutes later it's ready and we walk back over to see a wonderful job! It looked exactly like my back windows which were already tinted or painted as he explained to me. I knew u might not be able to match them 100% but you'd think I got them all done together. They were professional and quick with their work. Shop was clean and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done at a great price! read more

Car needed a tint so a friend referred us saying they are a place that does the tint without getting air bubbles. So we decided to give them a try and the work is great like we've been told. Details on the tint was well explained, when asked on how soon to start the tint, service guy said leave your car and come back in a few hours to be done. He called and was on time with the work. Definitely will use again. Keep up the great work along with courteous customer service with no hidden fees. Straight up service yo. read more
