I'm from the East Coast, and have been on buses like Megabus for 10 years. In terms of comfort, Kolors tops the list. I honestly had more legroom and reclining angle than my first class United flight. The company: This company is new to the States, so don't be fooled by the price of $19: it is NOT a budget service. The space is pretty dominated by Flixbus and Greyhound, so they understandably have to position themselves lower to enter the market. Many people seem to not know about this bus or are just too afraid to try it. There were only 5-6 people total on my trip so they are 100% operating at a major loss right now. The experience: I took a bus from LA to Vegas. Bus arrived 20 minutes before departure time, and I immediately boarded. There are tons of homeless around, but if you are worried about your luggage getting snatched, the bus driver is there to guard it until departure. My driver was the kindest gentleman ever- he noticed I didn't get off at the rest stop, and asked if I was gonna go eat anything and even offered me the snack box. I never got this kind of service from Megabus or anywhere else. At the rest stop, I would laugh at the Flixbus riders who paid more just to be packed from front to back. We arrived on time, and the driver helped me get my luggage. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I saw the reviews, but I decided to give it a try anyway, and I'm glad I did. Don't sleep on this service! As they become profitable and sustainable, the price will certainly go up, and there will be more people on board. Obviously your experience may differ from mine, depending on the driver I guess. read more

I bought a round trip to Las Vegas and when I arrived to the pickup address to get on the bus, it never came. I called support and they told me it was running late. I called an hour later and they said it was cancelled. No notification of any sort. When I called to get a refund they said they would only give me a refund for the departure trip because of cancellation not the return trip. Then I said, how am I supposed to get on the return bus if you never took me to Vegas. They said they couldn't give me a refund because that bus was still scheduled. Then he hung up on me. Bad service, bad customer service. Also, I still haven't received my refund. read more

They called me a week before the trip, and told me that you will receive a refund within 10 days due to the bus schedule cancelled. Asked them if they have any other schedule for the same day, and they just told me that "no, you don't have any other option on that day". After that, they hanged up the phone without a "apologize or bye". They should advice us earlier, and we can have better option for the transport. And now, we can only able to get a flight tickets for last minute on high price. Not recommended. read more

I did not intend to give this 2 stars review initially. The bus is good and safe. Seats are comfortable and they have enough space. HOWEVER, the customer service is unprofessional and dishonest. They have inconsistent statements and non-sense policy. I booked the 7pm trip and told the customer service i need to cancel it at 3:30pm, and the customer service promised and confirmed it to me that I would get the refund. But very later at 10pm I received an email it said i could not get the refund. I asked the assistant again, he said:"yes according to our policy you can cancel it but it does not say you can get the refund."-- I am confused, so what is this cancellation policy for? For me, this is very dishonest and confusing. If you choose this bus, make sure you will 120% make the trip and no need for customer service. Otherwise you will be p*ssed off just like me. read more

I think there's potential, the price point is definitely great. The seats aren't the greatest, they're kind of weirdly angled, it doesn't feel like you're sitting up straight. They're not the worse though, they're fine. What I didn't like, is that they ask you to be there 15-20 mins early because the bus leaves on time. Our bus was supposed to leave at 7:45, and the bus was there almost exactly at 7:45am. I understand that delays happen, but there wasn't even a sign where you get picked up. We were just hoping we were at the correct spot. Then when the driver pulls up, he opens the bottom compartment for luggage and I go to put my duffel bag in and he says "No, no, this is only for big luggage" and he didn't let me put my duffel bag. I pointed out that my duffel was pretty big, it fits the same as a carry on suitcase, and the compartment was empty and it was non stop to Vegas so no one else but the people there was getting on. He still said no, it doesn't matter that it's empty, that I had to take it on the bus with me. So the who way to Vegas I have my duffel bag at my feet and I'm having to maneuver and get my legs comfortable around it. It made the trip uncomfortable when it didn't have to be. I'd understand if the compartment was full or/and we were still picking up more people but we left with an empty compartment. The trip was ok. Could have easily been so much better. read more

This was a fantastic option to do round-trip LA to Vegas! They even had a discount code where I got two for one and got the whole trip for $19! Can't beat that. They have Wi-Fi and was able to work and be on internet the whole way, while somebody else battled the traffic. On the way back, they even gave out snacks and water like the airlines. Get in on this while you can because I'm not sure if prices will go up once people start finding out about this awesome secret. I hope they also are able to stay around and in business long enough to be able to do this again for my next Vegas trip. read more

Today is my first time booking with Kolors bus as I was unsure if it was legit or not. As I am sitting on the bus now on my way to San Bernardino,CA the bus is not what they advertised. There is no outlets on this bus, it's a standard charter bus company that picked us up. There was no signage or clarification of this being our bus as we were genuinely excited about looking for the colorful bus. Another let down was the interior is mediocre. As mentioned above, this was just a standard bus so there is no outlets and definitely no reclining seats. Makes me wonder if the 5 star reviews are even real... Overall, we made it to our bus in time and the driver was pretty chill.(Even though he took up the front 2 rows with his case of water and his backpack. (premium seats that I preferred) read more

Terrible Experience!! I won't take a Kolors bus again!! We were going from Vegas to LA and stopped in Barstow for a 20 minute break. Less than 20 minutes later we saw the bus leaving as we were walking to it. The bus driver didn't bother to make sure everyone was on the bus. This was ridiculous and irresponsible to leave us stranded in 108 degree weather. Getting in touch with customer service was also extremely difficult. read more

The Kolors bus never showed up to pick up my daughter from the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas strip tonight June 26, 2023 because, they were under booked. They told her that the bus came at 7:10pm but, she was there with proof that her Uber dropped her off at 6:45pm. The lady from customer service keeps answering both phone numbers (877)759-2314 and (888)548-5059. She told my daughter you missed your trip knowing that the bus never came. This happened to her best friend two weeks ago,trying to depart from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and the bus never came. They told her the same lie everyone else is on the bus but you. This bus is unreliable. I will make sure that they credit my daughter. read more

The driver just pulled over on the side of the freeway and announced someone called his boss complaining about the restroom and he was pulled over on the side of the freeway so if anybody had to use it they could get off and use it under the trees. For one that's illegal a ticket and being on the side of the freeway for a non emergency is even more dangerous. We past a 100 gas stations before Barstow and a couple of rest stops so those were definitely better options. read more

So much potential and I hope they get it together, but not there yet and I probably won't try them again unless I hear from someone else they've got it sorted. That doesn't sound like a 4 star opener, but I'll explain. I hate driving to Vegas - or more accurately, I hate the drive back. And while flying can be inexpensive, the hassle of the airports (and getting out of McCarran) can take just as long as driving. And since there's no train (yet), and there's no way I'd get on a sketchy ass greyhound, this seemed like it could fill a much-needed void in travel options to Vegas. While the drivers did the job well, both buses on my round trip had broken bathrooms. On the trip out to vegas, not only was the bathroom broken, but the outlets and wifi also weren't working. It also wasn't anywhere near as nice as the photos, but not terrible. To their credit, customer support was very quick to respond, very apologetic, and refunded my return trip. But the return trip bathroom wasn't working either. The return trip bus WAS like the one in the photos - really comfortable and spacious, more leg room than domestic first class. Had the bathroom been working - and if all the buses were like that one - I'd definitely try it again. But until then, it's probably a pass. What they do have going for them is quality drivers and very responsive customer service. Giving 4 stars bc they do seem like they're trying which can't be said for a lot of other transpo companies, and I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving them a shot - just go into it knowing that they're clearly still working out some kinks. read more

I ended up riding this company from Vegas cause the original company that I had booked my return ticket change schedule without noticed. I spoke to the bus driver of Kolors who had just happened to arrived at my bus stop. the driver gave me the website to book it and on my way back to LA. Bus was really nice and comfortable, roomie, cleaned, sits are good and can be adjusted well to recline. over all very happy that I found this company will book my next trip with Kolors. read more

Do not and I repeat do not use this bus they reschedule your bus without any notice and have horrible customer service. They also do not have all the services they advertise, the wifi rarely works, the outlets the charge your phone don't work and the one driver talked and giggled on her cell phone the entire trip. The bus I was on didn't have toilet paper and the driver didn't care. You see people getting off the bus angry all the time, the one passenger got off the bus and stood in front of the bus to block it from leaving til the police arrived because the driver wouldn't get his belongings off the bus and she just sat in her bus laughing at him. They recently sent me a text saying my bus is cancelled for 11:30 tomorrow to go back to Los Angeles and offered me the choice of 7 am or 3 pm picking up in downtown Las Vegas and not the strip like I booked, no compensation offered just take it or leave it how unprofessional. Please save yourself some money and chose the flix bus or the greyhound this company is a joke. read more

2 stars because of the free snacks & smooth ride! But At the stop at Barstow, the driver (black Lady with an attitude) did not wait the FULL 15 minutes. As soon as I was heading out the double doors from Inside McDonalds the bus driver saw me come out ignored me and took off. I was running chasing her trying to get her to stop. I had to RUNNN until she stopped by the sidewalk. This is unacceptable! I am very upset! She almost left me stranded in Barstow at 8pm. It says that its suppose to be a 15 minute stop. IT WAS NOT 15 minutes!! Emailed customer service to file a complaint. All they can do is "check the details to prevent this from happening again"!! read more

Hi my name is jahkese Allen this is my 3rd time riding kolors .my second time riding kolors was cool but bus driver for got to drop a passenger off in San bernidino and was notified when we where in Ontario bus driver had to turn around and go back drop him off then drop us off we was 130mins late . I didn't complain nothing . I still tried Kolors out for the 3rd time I book the 12pm bus to los angeles and was supposed to arrive at 4:15. The bus broke down right before San Bernardino @425 we was already a hr late do to traffic. It was hot The radiator went out on the bus and we where told that another bus would be there in a hour but no bus came we was stuck 8hr until 8.00 . The empty bus the was supposed to came didn't come and another kolors bus seen u took and pulled over and squeezed us on her bus .I called kolors customer service and the lady started going back an forth with me saying the bus is going to arrive on time when the bus is already late and broke down .then hung up on me I called back and asked her her name she hung up . She said she was the only person I can speak to she would transfer me to a supervisor or manager. This is ridiculous. All I wanted was to have a peaceful ride on the bus everyone was talking about but this is the second incident with this kolors bus .I missed my train home do to your bus radiator problem I was stuck and stranded till today . I would like a refund this experience is ridiculous. 8hr on that bus and we was told we wasn't getting a refunded only if they canceled our trip read more

I was very happy when I traveled on the Kolors bus on my way home to Las Vegas. The driver was courteous, pleasant and had excellent driving skills. The bus was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. I highly recommend kolors to everyone that transport in other bus companies. I did previously but never again. I was a bit apprehensive about using this relatively new service, but it delivered. Bus arrived on time at 11:30am and we were in LA before 4:30pm. Seats were a little cramped, especially when the person in front reclined their seats, but all things considered it was a comfortable and convenient way to get from Vegas to LA.
