I've used them on 3 separate occasions (all corporate events) - most recently yesterday. We hired a 26 passenger mini bus to take our staff from LA to Del Mar and back. Kal was our driver and he was fantastic. Friendly, on time, patient and zippy. He even stocked the bus with cold waters for us. This is my first time assisting in coordinating a big event for a company (I am a newly college graduate so this is my first big girl job). The Events Marketing Manger made me responsible for coordinating travel arrangements for our 170+ attendees that will be landing in LAX and BURBANK airports. I had to group them up and find a transportation service to get them from the airport to the hotel where the event was being held for the week. Being from the Bay, I've never traveled to LA via plane before (because I'd prefer driving) so I had no idea how landing at LAX or BURBANK would be like. I originally grouped everyone based on their arrival time but didn't realize that there were multiple terminals at LAX...and also didn't factor in international travelers and how they would be stuck in customs. Our employees were flying in from all over the world. I communicated with Azy for over 2 weeks through email leading up the the event. She was very kind, patient, and informative throughout the whole process and responded oh so quickly to all my questions/concerns. I changed the group travels multiple times yet she was still very accommodating and understanding. After confirming our transportation reservations, the process with booking the final transportations was very quick and easy. 02/27/17 -The day we've requested for the transportations from the airports to the hotel, Azy kept me posted throughout the whole day by sending me email updates of the drivers and the passengers that were picked up. Called in to get a quick quote as we are trying to make a decision quickly. The woman says "can you just email me your information?..." and starts spewing out a ton of questions she needs me to answer. I asked her if there was any way we could just do a quote over the phone because I need a rough estimate quickly. She hesitantly begins collecting my information. When she asks the drop off location, I told her California City, CA (a real city in California). She responds with, "I don't know where that is can you name another city?" I honestly am not very familiar with the are either so I was unable to provide off the top of my head. At this point she sounds beyond frustrated that she has to actually look up this information on her own so I told her we were fine not using their service. Pro-tip: train your customer service reps to be nice and patient! I would've gladly looked up the area for her, but she sounded like she didn't even want to talk to me. read more

I used EZ Vans for a bus tour I planned for the organization I work for. Azy was very accommodating and professional with my neurotic emails leading up to our event. On the day of, the bus showed up right on time with all the printouts I had sent. Throughout the tour, the driver didn't seem to mind my intense back-seat driving and was very professional and thoughtful. For example, at one of our stops he turned the bus around while we were off the bus so we could quickly move on to our next stop as soon as we were ready to hop back on. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was that the bus was loud, especially when going uphill. This made it difficult for our tour guide to be heard. My wife and I needed to rent a shuttle van to take guests at our wedding from the hotel to the venue and back again. We priced out several services, but frankly, we were worried. Most every service had plenty of bad reviews, and even our day-of-coordinator said when it comes to shuttle services, expect the worst. Ultimately, we went with EZ Vans, but I was terrified the whole time. Would they show up on time? Would they show up at all? Would it be in the right size vehicle? Or would it be in a modified school bus or hearse or some other crazy shit? These were the panicked thoughts that plagued me. All I could think about was my wife's 86-year-old grandpa being forced to walk from Pasadena to East LA because the shuttle service crapped out. Turns out, my fears were 100% unfounded. The bus showed up early and ready to roll. The driver (Leonard) was professional and friendly. Several trips were made, and not one person had a complaint. It was probably the most effortless experience I had out of all my vendors. Price wise, they were comparable to everyone else. A little less than $1000 for 8 hours of service for a 32 passenger mini-bus. If you need similar service, I highly recommend them.
