    Czech liquors
    Brandi A.

Service is nice, but we ordered to go food and we believe they gave us the wrong order. Didn't include sides, didn't match the description and for $28 for a rap the a bowl of liquid water with 5-6 cubes of meat was a real let down. Strudel was apply and cinnamon filled. A little too strong for my cinnamon level, but our group enjoyed and reminded us of home. Decent bar selection including some Czech liquors. Might come back for a snack and drink, but food left A LOT to be desired.

Heard about this restaurant from a cousin who enjoys it. Food was great, particularly the beef with cream sauce and duck specialties. The kielbasa and pierogi were good as well. The meal paired nicely with cold, Czech beers that we ordered. Service was slow, and polite. Was able to speak with others in a casual, laid back type of environment and actually be able to hear each other.

The place was decorated so cute but it was a little warm inside Nice owners and wait staff The food was delicious but I wish the cheese on the cheesy bread was melted A little pricey but went home with tons of leftovers My favorite bite was the pierogis with bacon and sour cream

I came here to get their garlic soup and their beef with cream sauce. I found the garlic soup to be really unique for its melted cheese. For the beef entree, it comes with 3 pieces of bread - I really enjoyed dipping it on the sauce!

Ate here by myself trying out Czech and Slovak food for the first time feeling curious about what to choose and eat for the first time. I had 3 different dishes that it looks great and it had tasted really good and delicious. The service there was also attentive and friendly that the server name was Carol. The ambiance was definitely quiet and relaxed. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Cozy ambiance, great prices, and delicious food. The portions are generous and the serving staff is very attentive and friendly. Love the coziness of both the food and the space.

Updating my review to reflect the amazing meal I recently had. Our server was very friendly. Decided to explore the menu and ordered the pork schnitzel in potato pancake batter. The pork was tender, flavorful, and fried perfectly! I also loved the cheese on top. And the mashed potatoes... so delicious. Their bread dumplings are perfect for sauce dipping. Apple strudel is still spot on! They give hearty portions and I would still highly recommend :)

This place is such a hidden gem! I've been wanting to check it out for a while and have probably passed it a hundred times. The inside is super charming with bohemian, German, Bavarian, and Alpine vibes--definitely a unique spot compared to the rest of the neighborhood. I had a 1/2 pint of Czech beer, which was cold and crisp, and the chicken schnitzel with potatoes. The schnitzel was perfectly tender, paired with mashed potatoes, pickled carrots, cucumber, and tomatoes--light but satisfying. The ice cream and apple strudel for dessert were the perfect sweet ending. The service was excellent, the ambiance was peaceful, and I can't wait to return. (Pro tip: they accept credit cards, but bring cash for tips!)

    Pierogis!

Came here to snuff my pierogi craving as the closest authentic spot to have them on the menu. Left with a full stomach and taste buds happy. An order of pierogis will set you back $20+! But it comes perfectly cooked in soft doughy goodness topped with chunky bacon and a side of sour cream. +1 for having Pilsner Urquell! (delicious Czech beer)

Since we were coming from outside of town, we really wanted to experience it. All the fancy drinks come in alcohol or mocktail versions. So adult or kid friendly. They are pricey, but we planned for it ($15-$25 a specialty drink) The food was good portions and priced well (same as any other breakfast place so pretty fair) The place is clean, very photo worthy, so cute!!!! The waiter we had was great! Hassaan I believe was his name, he was amazing. Gave recommendations, made sure our table was taken care of and had great customer service. Thank you! The food wasnt just pretty, it was good too. Its great for those visiting, date nights, special occasions, or girls brunch. I would highly recommend. It was pretty cool, and I knew rthe girls were liking it. We took a few pics before we even had our table. Their drinks are definitely interesting, and photographic. This was my first time trying actual Romanian food, as most restaurants I have been are marketed as…read more"eastern European" with the cabbage rolls, pierogi, etc. Thus, it is hard to give an accurate star rating since I don't really have an adequate baseline of what Romanian food should be, but combining the food and the excellent service, this place deserves a 5 stars. We were a party of 7 and we walked in on a Sunday dinner, and there was no wait. There was a wedding nearby in the restaurant, so it was a bit loud, but it was a good vibe. We ordered a bunch of dishes, such as the Platou Taranesc, Salata Bouef, Pomana Porcului, Pastrama, Mititei, Sarmale, Papanasi, and Coltunasi Platou Taranesc - country plate, basically bread and cold cut, Romanian style. It was a good experience but something I would normally not go out of my way for, since I don't like cold cut. But it is worth trying since Romanian food has a lot of cured meats and such, so the variety here is apparent Salata Bouef - bouef salad. Not beef salad. It is like a potato salad with chicken and veggies. Fairly hearty despite looking like small portions Pomana Porcului - traditional style pork fried meat - does not look fried, but it is a bit cured. A bit tough, maybe that's how they prepare it, but nonetheless flavorful. Pastrama - lamb pastrami - also a bit tough but cured. I liked the flavors but definitely need to eat it like a fork and knife style, not one bite Mititei - Romanian skinless sausages - kind of like a kofta (ground beef) and I loved this meat dish the most Sarmale - stuffed cabbage roll - one of the best cabbage rolls I have tried. Manageable size for each roll, and the cabbage has just the right amount of softness and the filling is super flavorful. Would recommend this 100% Papanasi - Romanian donuts - they say 2 pieces but the pieces are huge and sweet and hearty. A great way to conclude the meal, and enough to feed 4+ people after a nice meal Coltunasi - dumplings - we got beef. These are good but did not stand out. A nice starter Service was amazing and deserving of the auto 20% gratuity. The only miss is the water refills are not as frequent but the server gave us some sides on the house and gave us amazing recommendations of what to try for food for the first time and brought out everything we needed to enjoy the meal.
