Vintage-esque thrift shop on this side of town! Plenty of sun glasses, cool tees, colorful pants, and stickers for everyone. It's pretty cool ~

Disclaimer: I didn't shop here! Nor do I shop much in vintage stores to know the price range. This review is mainly regarding the aesthetic. I think this is definitely a store to walk into a browse as they have so much 2000s and 80s styled stuff. They scent the air with incense burning in the back room. There's cute hippie earrings, woke stickers, cute pastel chokers and hats of all kinds of brands as well as jackets n vintage clothing (seems more like pop styled though). The workers are dressed fashionably to match the store style too and will generally stay out of your way unless you need help. I think the shop is decorated very uniquely and worth a look :).

Really cool vintage store. Got a 1994 Swatch and henley hoodie. Def worth the trip on this Wicker Park strip.

I had looked at images on yelp and I seemed intrigued by the things they seemed to have. The store was really cute and had lots of little trinkets and memorabilia. However, when looking through the clothing I was disappointed. They had a lot of stock. But to me it seemed like stuff you could find at any thrift store, not appropriate for a curated collection. On top of that, these items were extremely overpriced for the selection (just basic 2000s t shirts and college or town hoodies, nothing special)

After faxing paperwork at Copy Max, which sits a couple stores down, I was drawn to a couple vintage 90's items sitting in the window while walking pass, which prompted me to stop in. Dropping in to Kokorokoko was a reminisce to some of my late childhood years and memories in life in the 1990s. Memories such as when we had "The" original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. When Hulkamania ran wild all over the World Wrestling Federation! As Hulk Hogan use to say - "Whatcha Gonna Do, Brother?" Those times when it was okay for guys to wear mesh shirts, plus stone wash jacket and jeans, yes! And how could I forget the boom boxes w/cassette tapes playing true funky music, and of course when LA Gear shoes was "it" because they lit up, as well as LA Gear and Tommy Hilfiger clothing brands being at their peak! Hehe, get my gist? I'm a 80s baby! And if you want to relive those 80's & 90's memories, Kokorokoko sells tons of vintage items & clothing that will help you reminisce. I'm always intrigued by places like Kokorokoko along with thrift stores, so I'm quite positive that I will return in the future to see what updated vintage items they have to offer. Returning also gives me more time in a hipster neighborhood like Wicker Park with the possibility to encounter more stores similar to Kokorokoko. Thomas Gouard

Came for a quick visit while seeing family in Chicago. I instantly was welcomed into the store and immediately became enamored by all their super unique and eye catching pieces. 100% recommend this place if you dress to turn heads ;-) will be back

Great place for nostalgia reasons. Great vintage selections. Tons of 80s-90s vintage. Some things are pricey but it is what it is.

Also, I would like to thank all of the people that have come out to support businesses in this area that were hit hard by the current political climate in Washington D.C. At the height of violence in our streets I tried to do my best by supporting some of these businesses. During this phase 18th street looked like a ghost town on a Saturday. Normally on a Saturday in this neighborhood has people teeming everywhere and the smell of an asado in the air (Yum). Having time off and having an asado is the perfect way to relax and spend time with your family. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of an asado? Well during this time period I found this shop that I thought had some really cool and unique stuff. Also, you may notice that they have a fair amount of stuff with the famous Hulu's The Bear line, "Yes Chef, No Chef" on it. If you are a fan of the show like I am, then, the interior will look familiar to you because it was in a seen on the show (I think it was season 3). I immediately recognized the store and thought to myself "cool" and great choice. Anyhow, if you find yourself in the area, pop in and check it out. They are very selective as to which artists around the country they want to buy from and in turn sell their products. Maybe you will find that one unique thing that you have been looking for that you didn't realize you need. I mean, you never know unless you check it out. My fellow Chicagoans, please go out and support your local small shops!

My mom and I could've spent the whole day there, the staff was welcoming and the store offered the most cutest items that were reasonably priced.
