Super cool vintage store. The inside was just so interesting and beautiful. Definitely on the more expensive side for a thrift store but reasonable for a vintage store. I loved the atmosphere and I would highly recommend going to anyone.

Is this one a vintage shop and a thrift store? Either way, it's a cool store to poke around if you have some time to spare. Items were well-curated and displayed like a thoughtfully-decorated boutique. All electronics were signed with prices; some of them were noted with their conditions. Hubby saw a cool early 70's FM/AM radio nightstand for about $40. Some of rare finds were a bit pricy, but I'm sure they were worth the money if you were an enthusiastic collector. In terms of clothing and shoes, prices were alright yet better than Knee Deep that's literally across the street. A few items in the showroom weren't available for sale. However, they were clearly-marked so that you wouldn't get your hopes up. By the way, can you guys change your mind on that 3-panel floor mirror? I was quite excited to see this as a new addition to my walk-in closet...too bad ya'll decided to sell to no one. There was a restroom next to the dressing room by the entrance. I didn't expect that since shops this caliber usually don't have a public washroom. Will I be back? The answer is absolutely! I love looking for inspirations and cool sh*ts around the city. Pilsen is a charming neighborhood in the south side. It's also accessible via public transportation (CTA 18th. Pink Line station is one (1) big block west of Ashland Ave.

Despite how many vintage/thrift stores there are around the city, I have been to very few of them. My recent visit to Pilsen Vintage has inspired me check out these type of stores more often. Pilsen Vintage and Thrift has a diverse collection of items inside of their store. They have costume jewelry, formal type dresses that appear to be from the 80s/90s, records, and countless other items. The prices for most of the items seemed fair. The majority of the clothing and accessories appeared to be in great condition. I bought a beautiful statement necklace for only $3 that has no tarnishing or blemishes on the metal. Pilsen Vintage and Thrift is an ideal place to visit in order to find unique items to wear or use.

I've been on two occasions. I bought a wool sweater the first time for 25$ and the second time I got a red corduroy shirt for 22$ and they gave me 10% off for following them on Instagram. They have a lot of cute stuff and it is a bit pricier, not a thrift store definitely like higher end vintage.

Fabulous selection of vintage and vintage style clothing. Always gems to find there every time I go back. This visit featured some fantastic bright orange jackets that turned out to also be life jackets! Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Great place! Great Jackets and coats! Reasonable prices. They have jewelry, home furnishings, clothes, etc. Between this place and the two others East of them, it's a great area to spend the day shopping and exploring

They have a crap ton of Babs' records here

It was right across the cafe we had brunch, a novice in a thrift store didnt get facinated by anything there. It was however busy.

When I first came to Pilsen V&T I was a little bit worried for them as they were facing tough competition with Knee Deep.

Also, I would like to thank all of the people that have come out to support businesses in this area that were hit hard by the current political climate in Washington D.C. At the height of violence in our streets I tried to do my best by supporting some of these businesses. During this phase 18th street looked like a ghost town on a Saturday. Normally on a Saturday in this neighborhood has people teeming everywhere and the smell of an asado in the air (Yum). Having time off and having an asado is the perfect way to relax and spend time with your family. Plus, who doesn't like the smell of an asado? Well during this time period I found this shop that I thought had some really cool and unique stuff. Also, you may notice that they have a fair amount of stuff with the famous Hulu's The Bear line, "Yes Chef, No Chef" on it. If you are a fan of the show like I am, then, the interior will look familiar to you because it was in a seen on the show (I think it was season 3). I immediately recognized the store and thought to myself "cool" and great choice. Anyhow, if you find yourself in the area, pop in and check it out. They are very selective as to which artists around the country they want to buy from and in turn sell their products. Maybe you will find that one unique thing that you have been looking for that you didn't realize you need. I mean, you never know unless you check it out. My fellow Chicagoans, please go out and support your local small shops!
