So after lunch, we made a point to come back. The place is small, but clean and organized. There weren't that many customers while we were there, so it didn't feel cramped. I was quite impressed by the men's section. Nice selection of like new, high-end brands and priced well overall. The women's section was ok, but most of our finds were in in men's. Sadly, the Coca-Cola jacket was a size too small for my husband. But I found him a great shirt, while my son picked up a pair of Patagonia shorts and a vintage sweater. My kids bought me a Vans quilted jacket to help when walking in the Chicago winds. (It was perfect as I wore it almost every day!) The girl at the counter was very nice. We paid in cash and Venmo for the additional discount. We will definitely try to make our way back here, at our next visit to Chicago.

I was very thrilled by the selection and price range. Everything was really reasonable. There was even some brand new items. I came out the two gently used purses, a new egg poaching pan (yay avocado toast) and a desk lamp. My bill was less than $30 bucks!!! They also have a frequent punch card system and and functional dressing rooms.

When you first enter the store there's a bunch of tables with very cool Knick knacks such as old retro sunglasses, jacket sacks, garbage pail kids stickers, among other very cool finds. Regarding the clothing, it's moderately priced but a lot of the clothes are in really great condition for having been used. Definitely worth checking out! Even to just get lost amongst the Knick knacks!

They have an amazing selection of vintage clothing, belts, and various knickknacks. Everything is curated beautifully and I'm always able to find something unexpected. The basement is full of books, records, VHS tapes, DVDs, and miscellaneous home goods. I didn't get the chance to get the woman who was working there's name, but she was very welcoming and kind - I was in the basement going through the books for well over an hour, and I never once got the vibe that I was overstepping. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out.

Stopped by on one of my occasional thrifting days. When it comes to vintage shops, unlike monster…read moresized stores like Goodwill, the Salvation Army or Unique, they cater their collection because they don't have the same kind of space. Each vintage shop will have their own preferred style, so a vintage shop may be great but just not the kind of clothing you'd personally care to buy. In my case, Vintage Frills definitely has a style that's up my alley! All the clothing is organized by color, which makes for a pretty store layout. They add their own labels to each item that gives a quick rundown (decade, brand, material and any possible issues)--but, of course, make sure to inspect any piece you'd like to buy! I think it would be a good improvement to add some kind of Velcro strip to the fitting room or a loop to the curtain to have a more secure hold. Definitely a shop I'll head to every so often when the stock refreshes!

A note if you're coming by car from afar: a lot of the surrounding streets are permit parking. We were taking our car all over town today, so we just had to deal with the vehicular burden, and we did finally find a spot not too far away, but if I was just going to come for shopping in this neighborhood in the future, I would park in Rosemont and take the Blue Line in. But back to the store: lots of fun and stylish pieces to be found here! I tried a few dresses and skirts on and really loved one dress, which was adorable! Items were organized by genre (tops, skirts, dresses etc); don't be afraid to try something that you might think is too big or too small based on the number/size because as we all know women's sizing is wildly inconsistent. Staff was very friendly and helped me out with the dressing room (it can be hard to wrangle all your items with a cane and then one arm left to carry it all, so I appreciate that). A bit more expensive than some resale shops, but if you are looking for a nicely curated vintage shopping experience (i.e. I didn't see any Shein etc) this was worth the visit!

I also really, really love that they measure everything and then mark it with their size system for consistency! It's nice to be able to find plus sized clothes, and I'm grateful for such a space.
