I ordered a chicken sandwich with Korean Yangnyeom sauce, poutine, & a milk bubble tea. The chicken was excellent & I got a glimps of the guy preparing in the back & I can confirm they make it from fresh chicken. The sauce is sweet with a bit of heat but too sweet for my taste & too much of it. The poutine was a good amount of cheese & gravy but the fries were undercooked. The bubble tea was not good. All powder & the pearls tasted stale. The service sadly was not good. The one man who was there was very nice & polite so this isn't his fault but he was the only one there. There was one customer eating when I went in, then after ordering a couple came in, then a group of 3. I waited just over 15 minutes. It would have been nice to sip on the bubble tea while I waited but you can't have one person taking phone orders, counter orders, cooking, & making bubble teas & not have something suffer. I don't know if they're short staffed or someone is just cheap but there should have been another person there. I would go back & try it again with a different sauce & maybe ask for it on the side. Ordered takeout for early dinner Saturday. Still took a full hour to get to us West Edmonton. Tried: Dakgangjeong ( boneless), Mago Chicken: ?mango chicken, Korean Original Yangnyeom, Kkanpuggi. Sadly I cannot tell which all of them was which. Dakgangjeong was boneless so easy to spot - everyone liked, not too strong of flavor. I think the red one was Yangnyeom - too strong flavor for me. I really liked the top right one ( green onions, chili pepper flakes). Mango strawberry bubble tea; was fine. Tasted like it was made with powder instead of real fruit. We got some pickled radish as well - not my favorite being as I don't like radish but was nice as a palate clenser. read more

I've been to Kokoriko many times over the years. Their chicken is quite crispy but more dense and dry. They used to have the best Cheese flavour - Garlic Cheese Snowing in Edmonton. However, it's worse now being less sweet and cheesy, but it's still worth trying. The other flavour worth trying is the yangnyeom as it is one of the most spicy and saucy fried chicken I've had in Edmonton. Overall, I'd give them 7.8/10 read more

We just stumbled upon this place and we're happy we did!!! We got the half order of fried chicken with chili B.B.Q. sauce and this was tasty. Hot, juicy, made to order. It took about 15 minutes from when we ordered to getting the food. There isn't really seating inside so we ended up eating inside our car. HIGHLY recommend!! read more

So I had the mission to find the best Korean chicken in edmonton and I think I found it! The chicken was so so crispy and delicious, it wasn't dry or small, I ordered the special Korean chicken and it was so good, it wad spicy and sweet and just hit the right spot, then I also had the dumplings and my god they are the best ones I've ever had! Highly suggest it. The owner and I had a very good conversation and he showed me around the little restaurant and gave me a drink to try and it was so so good and just hit the right spot after snowboarding. I was looking for a good takeout place on Uber eats one day and happened to find this place. Turns out they are a newish Korean fried chicken place that opened in the south side. The chicken here is pretty good. I have tried the honey garlic, chili bbq and padak (green onion). They chicken came fresh and were juicy & crispy. The honey garlic and chili bbq came with rice cakes which was a nice touch. I found the chilli bbq to be too spicy but the menu did warn me. My favourite so far is the padak. We were walking through Town Center when we saw this new place opened up and we didn't remember seeing it here before. I walked in to check it out and the owner said he just opened literally a couple of hours ago. I definitely wanted to be one of the first few customers for this place which serves a variety of Korean fried chicken. I ordered a half & half of signature fried and Chilli BBQ. It took around 30 minutes but boy it was worth the wait. The serving size was quite generous. The signature fried was crispy and delicious. The kids enjoyed it. They weren't as greasy as the fried chicken offerings from KFC. The Chilli BBQ was amazing with the right blend of crispy, sweet and spicy. I think it was a tad extra spicy and more appropriate for adults. Overall we enjoyed the food and it's nice to have a Korean fried chicken restaurant in the neighborhood. We'll definitely be coming back for more especially to try out the different flavors they have on offer. read more

The Chili BBQ was very spicy but together with the Signature Fried it was perfect. Also ordered the bubble tea which was nothing special. We drove to kokoriko for half an hour just to get some korean chicken but its not what we expected. Food are quite pricey for half is $18.we got the yangyeom chicken,takoyaki and dumpling. The only 1 tasted better was the dumpling. I think there is room for improvement here im not gonna put a 1 star on it though but if the food was good i wouldnt mind paying for the price. Need more flavor and korean taste flavor in there chickens. More crips too. read more

We saw that a Korean fried chicken restaurant had opened nearby and we knew that we had to try it. We ordered the signature fried chicken and the garlic cheese snowing. We waited for a few minutes while our chicken was prepared and carried them home. The chicken smelled amazing while we were walking home. The chicken tasted even better. The food here was very good for the 2 dishes I tried (honey garlic and plain fried). I got half a chicken of each which is about 8 pieces. Wait time for it is about 20 minutes as they cook to order so pre order if you're in a rush. The staff were pleasant. Will definitely eat from here again read more
