The lesson I learned from this was, if you get a nail tech who does a great job, request that tech or schedule an appointment with that tech.

Apparently JESS tried to contact me but I "missed her call too many times"?...she called twice...and only because my phone was on do not disturb....I called back IMMEDIATELY several times and the mailbox kept saying full... 1 ring and straight to voicemail. But regardless, when I finally got a hold of her NOT ONLY DID SHE GIVE MY APPOINTMENT AWAY but when I tried to explain there must have been a mistake with the timing, she said "well the person you booked with is Just a technician and doesn't know how to make appointments " ????????????? SO HOW IS THAT ON THE COSTUMER???? I have now been at least 4 times, possibly 5, with the same thing each time: clear or natural colored acrylic with a gel topcoat. This time was a fill of nails I had done at my regular place over 2-3 weeks prior. I saw a different person again this time and didn't catch his name but he was very professional and did a great job.

At first, I thought maybe they were busy, so I walked out -- but then turned around to ask how long the wait might be, only to be told "no" again. When I asked for clarification on whether we couldn't get services at all, the answer was still just "no." If this salon is appointment-only or unable to take walk-ins, that's completely understandable -- but basic communication and professionalism go a long way. A simple explanation would have made all the difference. Instead, the experience felt rude, confusing, and unnecessarily dismissive. Customers deserve clear, respectful communication, especially when they're walking in ready to spend money. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression.

Now that the…read moreoriginal owner retired and there is a new manager and staff, the two times I have been there will be the last. They clearly do not know what they are doing. The young man did a terrible job on my nails. He did not understand what oval means, so he filed one side rounded and left the other side square. I finally had to take the file from his hands and shape them myself. He only put the polish (dip) on the center of the nail so there are ridges on the edge where the nail is uncovered. I was so disgusted I didn't stay for a pedicure. Such a shame. Friends that used to use this shop have had the same experience. None of them speak English well enough to communicate, which may be part of the problem, but I've had enough!
