They were not a fan of my nailpolish and frankly did a manicure with normal polish I could have done at home. It was a bit bumpy and not as polished as I am used to. Also it chipped the next day. To their credit I believe they specialize in acrylics which are very different than traditional polish. I would advise you to try out their strengths.

When I asked for clarification on whether we couldn't get services at all, the answer was still just "no." If this salon is appointment-only or unable to take walk-ins, that's completely understandable -- but basic communication and professionalism go a long way. A simple explanation would have made all the difference. Instead, the experience felt rude, confusing, and unnecessarily dismissive. Customers deserve clear, respectful communication, especially when they're walking in ready to spend money. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor first impression.

The young man did a terrible job on my nails. He did not understand what oval means, so he filed one side rounded and left the other side square. I finally had to take the file from his hands and shape them myself. He only put the polish (dip) on the center of the nail so there are ridges on the edge where the nail is uncovered. I was so disgusted I didn't stay for a pedicure. Such a shame. Friends that used to use this shop have had the same experience. None of them speak English well enough to communicate, which may be part of the problem, but I've had enough!
