I have been going to Super Nails for four years ad have always been satisfied. Now that the original owner retired and there is a new manager and staff, the two times I have been there will be the last. They clearly do not know what they are doing. The young man did a terrible job on my nails. He did not understand what oval means, so he filed one side rounded and left the other side square. I finally had to take the file from his hands and shape them myself. He only put the polish (dip) on the center of the nail so there are ridges on the edge where the nail is uncovered. I was so disgusted I didn't stay for a pedicure. Such a shame. Friends that used to use this shop have had the same experience. None of them speak English well enough to communicate, which may be part of the problem, but I've had enough! read more

My mom has gotten her nails done by Lisa here for several years. I was in for a visit and thought I would get a pedicure while she got her nails filled. Overall the experience was really good. I got the deluxe pedicure which was a basic callus removal and nail shaping along with a leg and foot scrub, lotion and hot towel wrap, light foot massage and paraffin followed by nail polish for $35. The lady doing my pedicure was a very sweet. She put my sandals on before painting my nails which made sense; however, she spilled nail polish on my leather sandals :( Thankfully it was a clear-ish color and was wiped off quickly. It was a large spot, but it is not very noticeable now that I am back home. It would have been good to have put a towel between my toes and the shoe (which I requested after the spill; you should too). I could tell the lady felt bad that it happened. It was an accident. I am glad it was not a bright color. I wanted a little design (basic lines and dots) on my big toe. I picked a sample from the nail designs they have at the front by the polishes. She had to get one of the guys to come over to do the design. He did a really nice job. I felt bad for one of the ladies doing brow waxing. A girl in military garb came in and gave the lady bad attitude. She complained that the waxing was causing a lot of pain and for not warning her before she was going to pull the wax. I saw plenty of ladies come in before this girl and they all left happy with nicely waxed brows and did not show signs of being in pain through the process. She rude woman said "we go through this every time" to the lady, so it was clear she came in often to get her brows waxed. Aside from the small polish mishap, I was very happy with my pedicure. I had a few bad cracks on my heals and they are all nicely smoothed out now and my feet feel so much better. I ended up picking a different nail polish color than my original choice and am very happy with the color and additional design. read more

Horrible! Never again! I should have read the reviews first! I asked to just lightly file my nails and she started cutting them off! I was in shock! And the hand massage well I guess you do not get that anymore! Not to mention she kept wiping her snotty nose while she was working on me! read more

Only one star because I can't do 0 stars. This place was ridiculous!! We went in at 2:45 to get full sets. They told us to come back in 45 minutes. We got there at 3:30 and waited. They took one of us and did her nails. I waited for her to get her nails done and then they were going to do mine. They took people who came in after us and then ignored me for the full hour. I told them to forget about it and not to worry about getting my business EVER. I will not return to this place. Another woman had come after us and they told her she was next. The woman who worked there went over to her and told her she had to wait until after us to get her nails done because she didn't think we would actually come back. Their business practices are trash. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I have gone to Super Nails for many years. This past Friday I went in and took my daughter. We both had deluxe pedicures and I had a gel manicure. Both were great and everything I expected. My daughter and I both had our brows waxed as well. That experience did not go so well for me. It was torture. Never in my life has anyone ever put wax on my eyelid. When she ripped the wax off she took skin. and all she would say is "I sorry" and then blamed me and said I have too thin skin to wax. I will never again have them do my eyebrows again. read more

After reading the reviews I was very undecided weather to go or not but since I was already getting an oil change at Walmart I decided why not give it a try until my car is ready. Well I can tell you that I absolutely regret going to this place I would have rather waited inside Walmart then to ever visit here! My pedicure was one of the worst ones by far! I usually get pedicures every 2-3 weeks So i k ow that to expect. After I told the male who did my pedicure that his service sucked because he left dead skin hanging on my feet and that usually never happens he insisted that there wasn't much to do! Lies I know what a pedicure is and that for sure isn't one! The worst ever don't go to this place regardless of how badly you might be dying for a service just don't go here it will literally mess up your day! Never Again read more

BE CAREFUL!! ALERT! ALERT! You need to ask for an AUTHENTIC license before you let just anyone do your nails or toes here. The place is pretty dirty. Look behind the chairs and all around the heaters where you place your hands under to dry nails. It's VERY dirty. Only go if you have tough skin. The people are NOT very friendly in general, especially a girl named Lisa. She is probably one of the rudest people I've met. Her father, the owner, poked deep into my cuticle and bled it. He didn't say sorry when I told him to be careful! I made sure to get a shot afterwards. Also, waiting times are oftentimes LONG. One time I had my feet soaking for over an hour before they ever came to do my feet!! I also came to get my nails done, and while having my feet done, they tried doing my nails AT THE SAME TIME. NOT relaxing. Insist on having these done at separate times. Very RUSH RUSH feel, and the place is NOT well ventilated. There are other much better places to get service. Super Nails has better prices than others in Cove, but there's a reason! Check out others. Will be well worth your time. read more

I came here to get eyelash extensions and I paid $45 plus tip. Let me start off my saying that I have gotten my eyelashes done a dozen of times and never have I been so disappointed with them. 1) I used to only pay $35 in Hawaii, he's in HAWAII to get them done. They did such a better job overall and the quality of $35 lashes were much better than these $45 ones. 2) the quality of the materials used such as the eyelash extensions themselves and glue were very poor quality. I got my eyelashes done at about noon on Saturday and an entire clump came off on Monday night. They only lasted 2 days. 3) the place looks to be unsanitary. When the lady took me to the back to do my lashes, she didn't even change the paper that I laid on which is very disgusting and unsanitary. 4) the service was okay. No one greeted me and I had to sit and wait while no one asked what I wanted to get done. They were taking customers that had come after me and the workers just kept staring at me. I was finally helped only after I had said something. Overall very poor quality lash extensions and unsanitary environment. Will definitely not be going back. read more

I went in here on a whim, I was actually looking for a different place, but was at Verizon next door, so I walked into this crowded nail place and asked for my eyebrows to be waxed and shaped... The lady brought me to a chair in the middle of the small room where everyone was getting their nails and pedicures done, and they were just watching, it was uncomfortable to say the least, and she proceeded to wax my eyebrows, she didn't even show me in a mirror after she was done, and it wasn't until after I got home that I noticed that half of my right eyebrow was missing. I'll never return to this place. read more

I've tried different nail salons in Cove and have walked out disappointed. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience going to Super Nails!! I've even recommended this salon to my mom and she loves it! The staff is great about remembering us. There is a wait sometimes but they'll gladly give you a wait time or schedule you an appointment! read more

I started going to Super Nails in 2006 and the owner at that time was magnificent until he left and someone else took over around 2010. I stopped going from 2010 to 2014 since the last time I was there they messed up my nails and were very aggressive with the machines. The woman doing my nails cut my finger so I had to stop her since she didn't speak English well - had to remove what was there so I can let my finger heal and not get sick. Never went back until 2014 and had them done - everything went well until they said the amount that was different than the board of prices. I just recently went there in February and had my nails done - did a great job until I went this last time to get fillings and OMG I am looking for another nail salon. Too many bad experiences more than good so they lost my service. read more

My friend and I came here after numerous attempts to find a different place to get a pedicure. Sick of wasting gas, we just pulled in here and decided to give it a go! We walked in and were told to pick out a color and then sit down. That was the only English they spoke and the ONLY time they spoke to US until it was time to pay. The younger gentleman hacked my feet to death and hurt me numerous times. When he looked at my cracked heels he gave me a WTF look? Then started laughing and started talking to someone else in his language. I couldn't help but to think they were making fun of me. Long story short, never again would we come here nor would we ever recommend this place! read more

First time here and the deluxe extra pedicure was amazing !! I'll be coming back again ! Friendly staff !

ALERT!!! Place is VERY dirty. Staff is extremely rude. The tech was watching the tv and using the Dremel on my nails.. it started to get very hot in the spot.. I instinctively pulled my hand back and said "ouch" the tech gave me a very dirty look and rolled his eyes! I ended up with raw spots and bleeding on cuticles. They are very rough during pedicure and never saw them clean tubs in between clients. Also, they use a metal applicator for the wax and use it over and over, on clients, all day. Or at least the two hours I was there. As well as never saw them use the autoclave. Never saw new packages being opened. Very, very rude. Very, very rough. Very, very dirty. After ten years of having my nails done... I have never experienced the problems I had after having them done here. Splitting. Peeling. Cracking. Lifting. And turning yellow. I went to another salon and was told the yellow was due to "Super" Nail mixing inferior products and selling as "solar" powder. Also, this was the reason for all the trouble I was having with cracking, lifting etc... Did not feel they were professional at all. Substandard at best! I urge you to keep looking read more

First off the guy does not know how to do different things had a hard time to do a little bit of cheetah so I decided to just go basic with a french manicure . It was a fill so he said it would be 23.00 dollars total wth for a fill back from where I come fills are not that much still went ahead and proceed it so he gets the white on my nails my pinky got stuck to the paper towel and it messed it up so he sigh so loud and shook his head at it very rude . Than a usual customer came in so he sat me down to dry off my nails and forgot about me because he Prefer to focus on her so finally I had to ask if someone was going to do my pedicure if not they wouldn't have cared if I did or not . Which for their prices you would think they offered better service . I am new to town so tried this place out and never again if I have to drive a distance to find something way better I will little did he know I get my nails and feet done every two weeks and tip well I would have been a good customer . I don't like to complain but In these situation I had to I am very annoyed and irritated with their services !!!!!!!!! read more
