Jeherard has been a god send during this very stressful time of dealing with the damage and lack of communication and acknowledgement with the insurance company. He goes above and beyond and has helped in anyway possible, communicating with the insurance company on our behalf trying to help us get our claims covered and gives us updates. He is always there when I need him and answers with an immediate text or a phone call. Even if his company finished reroofing our house today he said he will continue to help us with trying to get our claims settled and to recover the expense. Jeherard also helped us with our solar and that REALLY lessened the stress with the project and everything going on. HHR's crew were prompt, very hard working and left the area around our house cleaner than it was prior to the reroof. We are loving our new roof and they did a REALLY good job. I want to shout out to the lead of the crew, Kevin. He was such a joy to see in the morning. He ALWAYS had a BIG smile and was always very positive. At the conclusion of the job I wanted to hug him . Oh and I contact another roofing company on-line twice in April with no response. They all came out fairly quickly to inspect, however, no quotes. I needed someone with tools and manpower as could not do this in my own. A rep from Murakami Roofing called in advance to get a better understanding of the potential job. He then made an appointment to come out and view the roof line in person. After reviewing the roof line, he committed to providing a quote the next day. We did not hear back for two days, so on the third day I called the main office. The receptionist said the rep was in the office and she could connect me to him. Upon answering my call, and learning who I was, he interrupted to advise the job was not something his company would be interested in doing. Why could he not have let me know this when I described the job to him over the phone or after visiting the house? Why would he waste his time and the company's money to pay him to visit our house if he had no intention of taking the job anyway? All great questions. Proceed with great caution.

Apparently there were many cracked tiles, probably when panels were put in, tenting and/or neighbor's avocados. He checked for this type of tiles and the color. Recommended extra tiles because not many in my color which I did want. Rob and his helper went straight to work for many hours (in the hot sun and no breeze) due to the tile being slippery, not to cause further breakage and must do one at a time). They then carefully brought in the extra tiles for storage. Very happy with the work of Rob and advice on the care of the roof.
