I was craving Japanese food and found this place. I didn't realize it was downtown Northville, but I was happy there is a parking lot close by. I got there around 11:35 am when they opened so my friend and were seated right away. This place is much smaller than I thought. There are 6-7 booths and then tables in the middle. Ye bathrooms are in the back. It has a cozy vibe. I got the sushi combo (spicy tuna and spicy California roll) and the Michigan Roll. It came with miso soup and salad. I enjoyed my sushi! We also got chocolate chip ice cream afterwards - which was a nice treat/surprise. Food and service were great!

Stopped by for lunch with the family. After reviewing the menu, we went with: - shrimp tempura & veggies - sushi lunch - Udon & Sushi lunch - Spider roll - Eel & Avocado - Spicy Tuna - Green Dragon - Tempura California - Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna & Yellowtail sashimi The rolls were decent, comparable to all other Japanese's restaurants in town. I like my sushi rice on the vinegary side.... and here they use very minimal as you can't taste the vinegar in the sushi rice. One thing they won me over was the sashimi. They cut their fish thick, which is rare. All other places I've been too, they like to cut their fish real thin, but not here. That was a big surprise, that added extra star to the review. Their shrimp tempura was 0 out of 5 stars. It needs major work. It came out all soggy, no crunch aspect to any of the tempura that was served unfortunately. That knocked off a star from the review. The service was good. Waster got filled without asking. Interior is small, reminded me of a Mexican restaurant, not sure if it was former Mexican joint before it became a Japanese joint, that's the vibe I kept getting. The chairs/tables seemed like leftover from the old restaurant.

Each time we've come here it's been fantastic. Salsa roll and green dragon are our favorite rolls. The miso soup is really good here, and the nigiri rolls are also very generous portions. Service is prompt, it was very busy on a Friday evening so the were trying to turn tables over pretty quickly.

Love Koji! It's been a family favorite for years. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and their beef teriyaki is a must-try too!

Service was great. We called to ask for a last minute reservation for a party of 9 and they were very accommodating. Food was pretty good too.

One of my staple sushi spots for the price and quality. Service is nice and efficient. Gets quite busy during dinner time so expect to wait on Fridays and saturdays.

Downtown Northville! We went here in Friday night. Place was not busy probably because it was past 9pm. Service was fast and decor was cozy. They have a large wooden models on display in the hotel which I found very kool. It was just my son and me and we ordered 3 sushi's about 8-10 pieces in each order. All were good! The place is very busy and tight squeeze between tables but the seats are comfortable. The staff is always running around and get everything done asap. Ordered a few sushi rolls and a miso soup. The miso soup is has great flavor. Had the yellowtail tuna roll, shrimp tempura, California roll. The rolls were good the ginger had a light flavor.

Your typical small sushi spot in ambiance. Sushi rolls were sub-par, lacking texture and flavor. There were many little annoyances including but not limited to: - The straws were too short for the cups - Waitstaff didn't check in during the meal - Waiter took water directly out of my hand mid sip to refill - Random free edamame was nice but we don't like it, so it was wasted - Asked us to hurry - after waiting 45 minutes to be seated - that they had a lot of people waiting to be seated after only being there an hour. (There was no one waiting when we left) Overall, not impressed, would not return but not the worst experience I've ever had.

Service is always fast and friendly. Dining area is normally pretty busy and lively. Seating is tight but will accommodate small and large groups. Might have to wait a bit to get a seat. Sushi is a little pricey but not much more than places outside Northville.

This place can get busy so expect to wait as I experienced longer wait times than usual. The service was good. Situated in downtown northville so it's a nice location - you can walk around after. Miso soup was good. I got the rainbow roll that I really liked. My brother got the Las Vegas roll and it was not my favorite but I just don't like cream cheese in sushi but my brother liked it. I would come here again or get take out if I am considering time

It's been so long since my last review. I visit this restaurant fairly frequently. The service is great, I like the comfortable seating and it is a pleasant place to eat. I highly recommend the sushi and all its varieties. They do a very good work with their sushi. Fresh, tasty with a very nice presentation. Some of their dishes are very nice, the bento box is fun with a wide variety of treats and tastes. The udon's are quite good. I have experienced a couple times having the beef and chicken a little tough, I wish it was more tender consistently. Their flavors are on point though. I recommend their tempura, crispy and light. I do wish a couple of their apps were hand made, such as their shumai and gyoza. But, they are still good. This is a very pleasant local joint and I will be back!

We started our meal with the bread bruschetta and the meatballs with Bolognese. Their Bolognese is truly one of the best in the area--rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For our entrées, we had the Chicken cremosi, which you simply cannot go wrong with. The chicken is incredibly tender and served with a wonderful, creamy sauce that brings everything together beautifully. I had the seafood linguine and asked for it to be prepared with a little spice. It comes loaded with shrimp and scallops, and the portion is very generous. The flavors are rich, savory, and deeply delicious. I've been to Tiramisu many, many times, and every visit leaves me wanting to come back again very soon. The consistently wonderful food, warm hospitality, and excellent service make this restaurant a true local gem. I genuinely enjoy every aspect of dining here, and it continues to be one of my favorites in the area.

We much appreciated her help. Service by Jason was very good. We enjoyed the old world ambience, but it was very loud we must say. The food was spectacular. We began with the classic calamari and the daily special stuffed peppers. Both were outstanding. We especially liked the stuffed banana peppers. They were supposed to be very spicy, but they really weren't. Highly recommend them. A few of us had salads, which would nice especially the Caesar. The veal Michelangelo got rave reviews and was outstanding. The seafood was perfectly cooked with the veal and the sauce was amazing. The Veal Marsala likewise was wonderful. The veal was tender, the mushrooms, fresh, and perfectly cooked, and the marsala wine sauce was delicious. I've had this same dish, many places, and without question this was or close to the best I've ever tasted. We had three kids meals, which were all very good and very large portions. The lasagna was a huge hit as the penne pasta. The fettuccine Alfredo was wonderful, but too rich for the kids, so the adults enjoyed it! Desserts were all nice. The peanut butter cake, gelato, and Tartufo Dark. We had tried to order one order of gelato with two different flavors, but it came out with three orders of gelato each with three scoops. So definitely a mistake we got charged for, but it didn't matter because the kids ate it all anyway. The Tartufo Dark was the standout!

We opted to dine outside because it was such a beautiful evening in Northville. We were seated at a cozy table and met with a hospitable server who made the meal even better. They start you off with house made bread with whipped, flavored butters. The special butter of the day was banana bread flavor. Oh my, what a treat! I love the creativity and the effort! It was very much appreciated! We had a lovely and I mean very lovely appetizer which was the whipped ricotta with peaches, toasted pistachios and blueberries. Aside from the food I had their Old School Margarita and their Deadwood Old Fashioned. The Margarita was just OK in my opinion. Basis of the drink was 1800 tequila which I am not a fan of and Cointreau. Seemed to lack the Agave Forward notes I look for and lime component was not as bright as I like it either. However, the Deadwood Old Fashioned with the Woodford Reserve Bourbon was outstanding and definately one of the better made ones in the area. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance about it with rustic western vibe which I really like. There is also a large outdoor dining area to take advantage of the nicer days which is something to consider if that is what you are looking for.
